So Matic has taken responsibility for the Man U loss.

No need mate, there was nothing that you or anyone else could do. We were just too good for you all. So Olly, David and Matic please. There is no need to apologise. This was entirely Everton's fault. And we make no apologies for it.

COYB.

We played very well, we played better than them. We deserved to win comfortably and we did. They and the pundits can stick the excuses were the sun doesn't shine.

What a superb team performance, every player stood up and took the game to utd.

Regardless of utd getting all the headlines for the wrong reason, praise should be given to every last Everton fan, player, manager who gave everything and got the result they deserved.

It's a beautify sunny Day, and not a Dark cloud in sight.

Enjoy fellow Evertonians, onwards and upwards.

Just catching up with all of the press and I'm a bit miffed over how the game has been portrayed. Yes Utd were poor, very poor but we took the game to them from the start, didn't let them find any kind of rhythm and our second goal killed them off. We played some good football and looked dangerous whenever we were in and around their box. Bit of credit for how the manager and players went about this wouldn't go amiss from some quarters!

It’s made my month bignev. I also liked your namesake having a go at sky for not giving any credit to our boys for the performance.

One and all the boys were brilliant. Pickford needs to buy the defence a pint because they gave him the day off.

Going back to the time when Moyes was trying to get Baines for Man U, I was very nervous he would leave as I couldn’t imagine anyone filling his boots. Now we have Digne, it’s business as usual on the left. And with Bernard there too it’s gone from Bainarr to Dignard so to speak.

It’s pretty apparent that if you can get a strong combination on the left going forward, you will get success as there’s are very few standout right backs in this league to cope.

I just hope that DCL can get the goals that will make us a force next season.

I thought Schneiderlin had a fantastic game
Well done Marko for this Selection
On that performance can't see Gomes getting his place back .
Keane was also Brilliant at the Back.
Joy to watch.

If Schneiderlin can keep that form, then maybe if Gomes doesn't sign, we still have a good replacement, played like he did when we first brought him from united, also Digne was totally class again yesterday.

I don't know about a replacement for Gomes. for Evertons attack to be at maximum it needs a midfielder that can drive team forward wich neither Morgan or Gana can do as well as gomes.

Think you must have been watching a different game to me blue USA, Gueye was all over the pitch and played a part in a couple of the goals driving forward, in particular the Sigurdsson goal. Scoring 4 without Gomes in the team shows to me that the midfield can drive forward.

Yes I agree with you about gana. and in this particular game he did drive team forward and is a crucial part of the team next year but he needs a player like Gomes to carry the load going forward which is something I believe Morgan can not do.
