If it wasn't for the sad reflection on our country & our national game, I'd be laughing my wotsits off now at the events at ManUre over the past few days!
So, England's (allegedly) best player, England's (allegedly) biggest club, Britain's (allegedly) best manager & our national media are made to look total prats by a wide boy agent who, having seen who is now running the country, decides that the richer you are, the more you can get away with. Stretford has shafted Rooney once again. OK, he's got him more money than any intelligent person, let alone Rooney, would ever need, but, in the process has made him a pariah with not only his team mates but the entire population as well.
Still, he won't have to bother about the fall�out, he can probably retire on the proceeds of this deal alone, leaving Rooney even more on the brink of "doing a Gazza".
The one bright spot in this whole sorry saga is now listening to the deafening sound of back pedalling from all the glory hunter Utd fans as they try to explain why they are still going to cheer Rooney, when for the last two days, he has been less popular with them than having pubic lice that look like Carlos Teves! ! !

I'm sure that many of my fellow Evertonians & fans from all clubs will agree that football is a poorer place with the passing of Malcolm Allison. Big Mal was one of the game's great characters from a time when football was a much more genuine, honest place than it is now.
Sympathies to his family & friends from all true supporters.

Thats not great. Your fan base is made up of Scandinavians, Irishmen, and pikeys that is not great.
Now goodison park. . . fist ground to have undersoil heating. . fact. first 2 tier stadium in the world. . fact. the first team to have a 3 tier stadium. fact
hosted for top flight games than ny other stadium. .fact. only ground in england to host a world cup semi final. .fact. first ground to hold a FA Cup final. .fact.
Now i know Goodison is aging but when you mention a ground as being great you need to know your history.
now you say we are a small club but. . . We are top 6 in the average attendances league, not so small, our fan base is local infact the majority of supporters in the area are blue as i mentioned the locations of LFC's fanbase. so we are more popular in merseyside. not so small. you say that z cars is not stiring but i think that a pipes and drums song is more stiring than that of a pop song! moyes although he has not won a trophy he has transformed the cluba nd worked wonders with little transfer funds. Unlike Benitez.

the truth is that both everton and liverpool have grand histories but at the present the blue side of the mersey looks more prosperous. Like it or not Everton have closed the gap significantly in terms of how good the two are.

Didn't know that - as I said I never go to that page, Everton are my team, no other.
On the subject of that, having just looked at the official Everton web page, I'm sick to see that Jags will miss the derby match because of an injury he picked up in the England camp. I may be in a minority & no doubt the players would disagree, but I'm always glad when no Everton players are involved in international matches. The amount of injuries picked up in these matches is dreadful. Personally, it wouldn't bother me if they scrapped all international matches - we wouldn't have to endure boring weekends with no matches, like this past weekend.

I'd love to know what a physco-analyst would make of your posting something like this on our rumours page. Personally I have never had the slightest interest or inclination to view or post something on the Liverpool pages, your club is of very little interest to me.
