No way moyes leaving us , the chance to work with players like dave nugent next year swings it for us and with all of us pushing together we should avoid relegation by the skin of our teeth again . why would he want to leave

Everton manager is being lined up to be the next Aston Villa manager. Randy Learner has got great admiration for the job David has done for Everton Football Club. The rumour before when Martin left was that of a true one that Moyes was going to take Villa on. He decided he owed it to Everton to stay on but his burning ambition to have funds from the Everton board has left him frustrated. He feels that he's took Everton as far as he can and will leave manager of Everton at the end of this season for Aston Villa.

He said he was stayin like 2 days ago y would he step down 2 villa

Jack Rodwell 2 weeks ago "I still think that we have a good chance of getting a European place" You have to give it to this kid, he is pretty funny and overly optimistic, to say the least.

"Moyes to Villa in the summer!
Why would Moysey want to go to Villa? He might get some money to spend but Villa will never get to our level and have a history of sacking managers before they have had chance to get their initials put on their tracksuits!
No take-over this season, Felli and Rodwell to go but don't expect too much spending. As usual the Toffees will wait until the last week of the transfer window to buy someone we've never heard of. Expect Villa and Spurs to buy everyone Everton are linked with as well!

Get to your level??? What level is that then?

I Have learnt today that Bainsey is NOT going to leave everton I know this as he lives very close to me and I happened to see him leaving for training today and I asked him myself! He also said that Moyes is eyeing up some exciting young talent from league 1

Well he's not really going to announce to a stranger that he's leaving is he. According to Alan Pardew on deadline day, Andy Carroll was not for sale.

He is going just like the rest of them

Don't always agree with the Ed's but. .

No matter what you say the picture does not look great
I mean bumping into rivalry players and having a chat is one thing but getting on a plane with four reds makes me itch. .Disgusting never want to set eyes on him again {Ed001's Note - you need to grow up a bit and stop being so pathetic I am afraid, it is not up to you who players socialise with.}

**************************************

Well said, Ed. There has always been a culture on Merseyside of the players & management from both clubs getting on well together. This subsided a bit during the Benitez years, but having Dalglish back seems to have restored a situation that puts many other city's rivalries to shame. Moysie & Dalglish are very friendly, (off the pitch! ) as are many of the players. And as for a so-called Evertonian never wanting to see Cahill in the shirt again. . that beggars belief! He is viewed as a well liked, adopted scouser by both blue & red fans in the city. Hang your head in shame, whoever posted that rubbish!

I never want to see that Cahill in an Everton shirt again
pictured drinking with Liverscum players this is disgusting . Moyes needs to get rid {Ed001's Note - you had best get rid of your whole team then. And Moyes as he has a drink with Dalglish. Perhaps you would also like to ban any fans who are related to or friends with Liverpool fans too?}

Bill Kenwright said the ground will struggle to get safety certificate when pushing for the move to Kirby. This has since been denied by the club . Goodison will continue to receive it's certificate for the foreseeable future.

Hi Ed, Big everton fan, do you have any idea on potential deals going on at Goodison. Hope Bainsey and Fellaini stay. Rodwell can go if the offer is right, he's under performed this season. I would like to see two more strikers personally maybe someone like Kevin Doyle and Miroslav Klose. Any chance of these two? Also a DM would be needed to replace Rodwell. A RB, CB, A Winger would also be nice. I think personally players that should leave are Bily, Anichebe, Gueye, The Yak and Vaughan. I would like to see Yobo come back to. So Ed what targets have you heard of? {Ed007's Note - If I'm honest mate, the only rumours I have heard are of people leaving, maybe even Moyes to Villa is gathering pace, sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings mate}

Sounds like bad news for us toffees then. Why Moyes go to them anyway, he may get a bit more money but a lot of there players will be moving and why leave for a team who finished below us? Finish what you started David, we may not have a lot of money but we still hold our own year after year. Moyes deserves to take over Fergie after all the successful work he's done here. He gets the best out of players and hopefully if we ship a few players off like Rodders and Yak, we can have a few bob to splash out if the chairman feeling nice. The only way we can push on is if we have more money to spend. I would love to see what Moyes could do with a healthy transfer budget. He could work wonders with us.

Just giving my realistic opinion gents. something has to give with us and i think we will aim to generate 40 mill from player sales. with 10 million going back into the first team. don't think we will get more than 10 for bainsy. rodders will go and so will fellaini along with billy
our realistic targets are-ngog! possible deal sweetner for bainsy. we will bid for vaughan(blackpool) as will a few others when his contract expires.
expect a move for nigel reo-coker and if bainsy does go then warnock will be bought to replace.

I have heard a few rumours lately some of which may be possible however some may be rubbish. You decide! Just to let you know what I have heard. Rodwell to utd for Obertan and Brown plus cash.(already done) Felli to Chelsea for Sturridge and cash. Villa to target Moyes with Houllier going on medical grounds as they will promise him a decent transfer budget. Finally, wait for this! a very good friend of Stubbs to be named manager as a sweetner for the fans following Moyes' departure. Big Dunc next manager! ! ! {Ed007's Note - Duncan Disorderly Ferguson?? No chance!!}

'Can we all get real here. There will be no take over in the summer, or many summers to come. Who in there right mind will want to buy Everton. Just look at the Math.
Debts of £100.000.00, a new ground £500.000.000, £100.000.000 on players and staff just to compete with the elite and your looking at £700.000.000.
For an extra 10 quid you can buy Manchester United. There is more chance of Kenny Dalglish managing Man U next season then Everton getting new owners.
The best we can hope for is some sound investment to enable us to survive, if not were sunk.'

Everton do not have debts of 100,000,000, they have debts of about 45,000,000 first off. Everton are also a financially stable club, it's unlikely Everton would spend 500,000,000 on a new ground as if you looked at the kirby plans there was going to be a tesco next to it so it would be like the warrington wolves stadium (i.e tesco pay for some/most of it). Moyes wouldn't spend 100,000,000+ on players seeing as Everton aren't Man City. Admittedly, it is unlikely Everton will get taken over.

Transfer Targets:
Klose(his bayern contract is almost up), David Nugent and Matt Jarvis.
Bainsey, Fellaini, Rodwell and Arteta are not going anywhere.

Heard A around this today that american investors where having a guided tour of goodison park one of the investors said it is clear that everton need a new stadium and we are more than happy to invest in your club! ! but he said that we need at least a top 5 finish next season if they wish too keep there investments in our club. They are suspected to have around 300 million to give us to last us for 3 years of transfers and are willing to pay as much as needed to build a better stadium what are your thoughts Ed on who will be likely targets for everton given the budget????

{Ed002's Note - I have to say I don't find this to be plausible at all.}

Spoke to stubbsy at a city restaraunt on thurs! everton will very very soon HAVE NEW OWNERS! ! so as i see it this could be more than just a rumour. gotta say though he convinced me that's for sure. {Ed007's Note - Big Stubbsy is a complete gentleman, met him a few times when he was up here at Celtic, not saying you are right, just kudos to the big man, travelled away up to aberdeen to see him make his debut and he got sent off!! I had raved about him to all my mates too, thought he was a great player and a really down to earth guy}

In response to this: Judging by what Moyes has said in the press there is not going to be a takeover and no investment is on the horizon. Just wish people would except our position and stop living in cloud bloody coo coo land. With what we have now is not far off a great quality team. For all the abuse against Everton we get on this page its always tinged with one of our players going somewhere else so we can't be that bad. If we do get a take over / investment I will be as happy as anyone and look forward to seeing what happens.

I can except for what Everton is, A proud Club with a great history (5th most successful club in England) at the moment.

We have matched our richer neighbours this season and took 4 points. Against other top teams we have held our own on most occasions. Very disappointing start with expected late bloom.

All in all were not Man U but were not a Blackburn. Evertons time will come as will every team's in the history of things. The once great empire of Liverpool has now bit the dust however much they try to deny. Man U are clinging onto power and a great team but I can see a decline when Fergie goes. Every Dog has its day guys but I will always be a blue and Everton will always be great today and tomorrow. (Que the boring Neanderthal school ground comments)

In response to this:Very briefly. Following a chance drink and chat with Keith Wyness in a local public house on the Wirral with a business colleague; Mr Wyness intimated that Everton have two potential interested investors, or buyers. Of the two he was dismissive of one as not serious; albeit, the second one is a serious interested investor and went on to state is an American Investor with deep pockets .
Furthermore; Mr Wyness went on and digressed and suggested that Liverpool FC we re considering in not progressing with the Stanley Park Stadium project and that they are looking more likely to develop the current Anfield Stadium. This leaves Stanley Park as a serious alternative for Everton should Liverpool not take up their option on the site. Mr Wyness is still involved with Everton and is tasked with finding a buyer / investor for the club.TOTAL RUBBISH keith wyness is no longer the ceo at everton get your facts right

That time of year again were rumours r rife the richist man on the planet is buyin us givin moyes a billion quid 2 spend and r gettin a 500,000 seater stadium i don't believe anything till there is something concrete as at this moment is speculation as with felliani i think they will offer him a stupid contract which he will never sign just 2 push him out the door its the everton way sell a big player and bring in 3 small players with portencal i may b wrong but this is the way r club runs(have u heard anything ed) {Ed002's Note - Nope.}

Dave nugent is a toffee . he is a world class striker . he could get us eh eh eh come to think of it hes sh. e . the thing is hes cheap and that's why you will take him . every year it will get harder and eventually you will go down cos of lack of money , you know its the truth

14 Apr 2011 18:45:52
Why are people happy with the prospect of michael ball and david nugent? jesus wept, is this where our ambition lies?? a well past it left back and a lousy striker that proved he couldnt hack it when he was given his chance! all that's different is that he's a year older!

the priority has to be keeping fellaini. if he wants to stay like he says he does then we pay him what is arteta is on and sell yakubu and yobo to fund this deal. i reckon he is that important to us.

i can see rodwell going and if we get the silly money being quoted then he should be sold. with the 20 million atleast all the media reckon we are going to get moyes could get 2 quality players out of that. a striker and a midfielder. i personally would go after that mbokani and charlie adam. u would easily get the 2 for 20 million, probably with some change left over to bring in a couple of young prospects. yakubu and yobo will be replaced by the good group of young lads coming through; gueye, velios, barkley, baxter . . .

Hello again Ed just did some research on the everton badge the original had railings going around the base of the tower on level ground. this was modified in the 80 s to show the railings going round at an angle to show the tower on a hill. in 1991 however the bloody french of all people " i know the french " le coq sportif decided to raise the railings on the left hand side and leave them half way up the tower to resemble what now looks like a helter skelter. trivial you may think but its a digrace i say a damned disgrace. any evertonians agree?. how do i start a campiagn to restore the original badge back on our shirts. any comment Ed thanks {Ed001's Note - the first thing to do would probably be start FB pages, a website and then try and get all the Evertonians you know involved. Email the club as well and post on all the Everton forums.}

Hey ed why is that helter skelter thing on ruperts tower on our badge. it never used to be there. it used to some kind of railings circling the towers base?. {Ed001's Note - I don't remember it ever being any different sorry, the badge has defo not been changed in at least ten years.}

Yobo, Heitinga, Arteta, Yakubu, Bilyaletdinov, and Vaughan all out at the end of the season . . which will create almost 30 million to be spent on:

Matt Jarvis - 6 mill
Miroslav Klose - 5 mill
Ever Banega - 5 mill
Wes Brown - 3 mill
a couple of loanees perhaps too. .

the rest will go towards clearing some debt . . not great times for the skint Blues . . but as always, they'll punch above their weight. As for Moyes - it's only 50/50 whether or not he'll be staying (may do so if Baines, Rodwell and Fellaini are not sold) . . Dave Jones or Sam Allardyce the (poor) options being looked at.
Whatever you are smoking it must be great
Matt Jarvis- 10 mil plus
Klose- lol have him
Banega- 15 million!

Yobo, Heitinga, Arteta, Yakubu, Bilyaletdinov, and Vaughan all out at the end of the season . . which will create almost 30 million to be spent on:

Matt Jarvis - 6 mill
Miroslav Klose - 5 mill
Ever Banega - 5 mill
Wes Brown - 3 mill
a couple of loanees perhaps too. .

Why do people who haven't even got a basic grasp of spelling post on this site & expect us to believe them? This from someone who thinks David Moyes would leave Everton to go to Villa. After The Hammer's ridicule of his post :-

Not a crystal ball my friend, got the info from a very good sauce who has very good contacts.

So, come on, name this "sauce" - is it tartare, tomato, HP?! We deserve to know which condiment you're talking to! !

'Emmanuel adebayor to everton in swap deal plus £5 million for marouane fellaini plus diniyar bilyaletdinov to spartac moscow for aiden mcgeady'

How does that work? Real Madrid don't even own Adebayor. . . {Ed002's Note - Perhaps he means with Manchester City.}

Everton

In July 2007 Baines rejected a move to Sunderland, after their bid of a reported £6 million was accepted by Wigan.[6] In the following month he signed for Everton for an initial fee of £5 million, with another £1 million in add-ons, dependant on Baines' appearances for Everton.[7][8] Baines maintains that he later supported Everton from age 14 (following a flirtation with Blackburn Rovers) and would try to enter Goodison Park for free during the second half of matches

Stright from Wiki

You Red SH. E Know your facts befor you post, why would he go back to you when you reject him as a young player and we have made him into a ENGLAND PLAYER,

If we r getting taken over why would we sell Baines the best left back in the country, and buy two muppets from the shower across the park. If we did get taken over we r a rb, rm, lm, and two quality cf from title challenging material.

Buy out Kenwright for 100 million, 80mill investment in players, only after securing cl place sort out ground already got Moyes in to oversee it all everyone's a winner now someone stump up the cash. Before we lose Felli, Rodders, et al doesn't happen now it is over for us.

The trouble with everton at the moment isn't all the money woes its bill kenwright! god knows how much he loves the club but its that which is stopping him selling to sensible offers, he wants to sell and retain a major role within , that just aint gonna happen so bill do us all a favour and sell the club to the highest bidder, moyesey gets the cash , we keep our best players and bill my friend you sit in the stands with the rest of us !

Six pointer this weekend lads . lose to villa and it could start the slide . you have a lot of players out and if villa do you they might steal your manager at the end of the year . huge game for you . win and villa are in trouble . dave nugent is a terrible prospect for you and you should really be asking questions re bill and his merry band running you in the ground .
