Good read that Ed, even though I'm a Blue.

{Ed001's Note - cheers Ted, he was an interesting guy who was way ahead of his time. Keys and Gray still moan about warm ups now and he was using them in the 40s!}

Here's my take on the Ushmanov or whatever his name is story. Evertonians have been starved of success in recent years and will therefore grab hold of any rumour, story or idea that will maybe, possibly lead us back into the top 4 and thereafter hopefully a bit of silverware. The 2nd part of my view is that poor ED002 is completely fed up of Evertonians running over the various possible scenarios based on guesswork. People used to say I went on and on about Osman and other subjects. but I think even I have been surpassed on this one!

There wouldn't be a link if there was no business partnership between him and our owner. There's nothing wrong with fans getting excited by the prospect of him coming in and helping out, fans at every club get carried away by rumours and speculation. But it is only a rumour and something to fill the news columns at this moment with nothing to give it any substance. Let the fans dream it may happen, there's no harm in that.

There is no need for conjecture or conspiracy theories. Mr Moshri is not the owner but majority share holder. Mr Usmanov is already invested in Everton via Finch and Mr Moshri himself. Mr Usmanov as pointed out over and over again has far bigger fish to fry than us at this point in his investment acquisition. That is all I will say on this.

I really don't understand why anyone really cares if Usmanov buys into Everton or not. I think that Moshiri is doing pretty well by himself, although with a rocky start. We have a new stadium on the horizon and the makings of a good management team and squad. Let's just enjoy what we have which is a lot better than the recent past.

Exactly Mike some are just not satisfied with what we have some might even say it’s disrespectful to Moshiri
If Usmanov ever invests further then great but right now I’m enjoying what we have and looking forward to seeing the other new players getting on the pitch.
