We really need something to change at the club. I for one don't expect Europe again until we receive a cash injection. Do you think we can still get europa league ed?

Bez the blue {Ed025's Note - no chance bez...at the moment staying in the prem is the best we can hope for!

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Our run of fixtures looks less daunting in the next few months, surely we can get mid table ed??

Bez the blue {Ed025's Note - i would love to think so bez...but the way we are playing, we will struggle to beat anyone!...i would love to be proved wrong, and i know i am being pessimistic ....but this is the way the club has got me at the moment..

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets hope for investment ed!!

Bez the blue {Ed025's Note - lets hope for a miracle bez....lol

Agree1 Disagree0

There's a long way to go, I don't think 7th is out of the question and that could be good enough for Europe. I'm glad to see Moyes making noises about Donovan coming back, he'll give the whole place a lift and a loan for him as the only January signing seems realistic on our budget.

Jagielka has had a shocking season. With the jags injury it might well be heitinga and Distin for the next game which will be interesting. {Ed025's Note - do you think all the interest from arsenal had anything to do with it?..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Ed, it was Jags himself who poured cold water on a possible move to Arsenal, the club was probably itching to sell someone and there hadn't been any offer for Arteta when the bid for Jags was made. Nothing that had been made public anyway. If Jags wanted out, he'd be playing s**te for someone else by now!

As much as I'd like it, I don't see anyone with what Bobby calls the right intentions coming up with the money to buy the club and move us forward. The Wolves game is massive for us now, need to see us really go at them from the start. 442 is probably too much to hope for but high energy attacking football would lift the crowd and players. We have the players but they need to be used effectivly. Bolt from the Blue..... {Ed025's Note - i agree with all of that mate..

Hey Ed, are these Duffus brothers any good? Also what age are they because if their good and young we could have a brilliant team in atleast 2 years if not sooner with Green coming up. We already have Barkley, Fellani, Rodwell, Vellios, Coleman, Garbutt and McAleny who are all pretty young and pretty talented. Add Green and (if their good players) the Duffus brothers we'll be top 6. And thats without buying any other players so if Moyes brings in somemore brilliant cheap players in the meantime, we could have an amazing team.
Hopefully we don't sell any of these players (or atleast only sell 1 or 2).

What you think? {Ed025's Note - i dont know much about the brothers mate..but i think your right about us potentially having some quality youngsters for the future....i just hope we are still in the premier league to enjoy them!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Me again Ed, forgot to put my name at the end.

Can't see us ever going down, I know we're in a bad run but no matter what way I think about it, just can't see us in the championship.
One thing thats really annoying me is that we have players who want European football but won't try and get it with Everton. Fellani dosen't seem to be playing as good as a Champions league player.
These are the players we need to be stepping up and pushing our club up the table.

Breeno {Ed025's Note - i agree breeno...and unless these players step up to the plate..we CAN get drawn into the dog fight!

Believe me or not but i met franny jeffers in tenerife in september. he has a apartment we my dad has one in los cristianos, i know he is a bit of plonker but telling me some interesting things, i was moaning about how negative we are and defensive and he said when he was at everton on loan and also speaking to players that he keeps in touch with, mainly osman and hibbert he said that moyes is not negative on purpose he thinks its because he is a control freak, he doesnt like the players to take risks and make mistakes and he said if u do make a mistake or take risks in a match apparently moyes gives u a proper bollocking! therfore the players are too scared to take a risk during the match in fear of getting ripped by the manager, he would rather the players to be in control and have a great positional attitude and stick to there task. he actually told me a story about a player who had a shot from 30 yards and got a grilling from moyes at half-time because it was not his 'job' to shoot! ha ha interesting!

Believable2 Unbelievable1

I can beleive that!

Agree0 Disagree2

If that is true then a change of attitude for the gaffer is required if not then a change of manager {Ed025's Note - the way we are playing at the moment..i can well believe it..

Agree2 Disagree0

Franny should hav concentrated more on his talent because he wasted it,fox in the box,ye right,he spent more time on the treatment table

everton have put a bid in for chester citys cleaning lady in the hope to secure a 3 month loan deal , manager David Moyes is very excited at the prospect of having goodison clean by christmas {Ed025's Note - its a lumberjack we need mate...to get rid of our dead wood!

any read/ heard what Chief exec Robert Elstone said to sky?

Great news about the takeover talks, but the way he said it there's not much/if any money in january

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Theres never any money ever anyway so it makes no difference, every 85p in the £1 goes to running the club so it looks like 1-2 loan deals if any, but thats the way moyes has always worked his magic so lets just get on with it until things change {Ed025's Note - i dont think we have a choice!..

to all fans who use this site,if moyes was to leave,who do people think would be a suitable replacement,your opinion as well ed,personally i would like a young attack minded manager like coyle or lambert but knowin kenwright he would prob beon the phone to walter smith {Ed001's Note - Lambert, I think, is a very good shout.}

Believable1 Unbelievable2

Owen coyle

Agree2 Disagree2

Rumours that souness will be taking over from moyes with Big Dunc as his assistant...That wud be ace {Ed025's Note - that would be ace????...that my friend would be a tragedy!....he single handedly put together the worst liverpool team in history, and you want him for us??....get a grip lad!!

Agree1 Disagree2

Martin O Neill {Ed025's Note - he would only be good if we had money....and we have none...so..NO

Agree2 Disagree2

David moyes not goin anywhere, he is loyal and him more than anybody will be keeping his fingers crossed with all the latest takeover talk so he can finally have some money to spend {Ed025's Note - well lets hope it happens soon!

Agree5 Disagree0

If we get taken-over then I feel Moyes should be given an opportunity to see what he can do with some decent money. In saying that how much has he spent so far with very little return. It is his tactics that need to change. {Ed025's Note - i think so too mate..

Agree0 Disagree1

Not oneill, cant stand all that jumpin around like a jack in the box

We should sell marouane fellaini (15+) good player but he want champs league...
Buy in a striker with that get b. sharp or beckford back or Marc Janko plays for Twente he is 6ft 5 very good at shooting and headin and very strong we need someone like that who can hold the ball up front

Believable1 Unbelievable4

Get beckford back, are u mad,hes terrible, cnt even get in to leicster side, bad nuff takin mcfadden back

Agree2 Disagree2

Sell felli for 15m (in this market put another 6-7 on top) and bring beckford back, some people just dont have a clue, unless of course its a wind up {Ed025'sNote - i think we all know the answer to that!

Agree0 Disagree2

LOL Mark Janko! You have been playin too much Fifa 12 Career Mode mate. A v poor 'Complete Forward'. We may aswell play Victor if we are going to have a big sloth who doesnt run or do anything but make us lump the ball in the air.
