Wishful thinking about Chelsea. Don't think that will happen.

Wishful thinking about the manager but I'd love to see that happening. Similar to Giggs taking over last few games for Utd 2 seasons ago.

Hi Ed what is your view on the Stadium debate which do you feel is best, try to update Goodison or to move to a new stadium thanks, GuernseyBlue.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - new stadium for me GB, love the old lady and was great in its day but im afraid its time to move on, really think we missed out on the kings dock project but stanley park would be good mate..

09 Mar 2016 19:42:18
Thanks for that Ed the other question I meant to ask is what sort of capacity would we be looking at, thanks GuernseyBlue.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i am not sure GB but i would think in the region of 50,000 with an option to expand myself mate..

09 Mar 2016 23:18:01
While we have the chance I would put it in the city centre area. In Walton it will only be alive on match days. In the city area it will be a stadium alive 7 days a week.

It would be central and easy to get to unlike in Walton. Plus savings in transport development instead of the congestion you get now that will need to be remedied.

Redevelopment of GP will take far too long and too costly. 2 years at least for each stand plus the delay in buying the properties around the area would probably add another 2 to 5 years to the development. Also for that extra revenue you need more land around the area for shops and restaurants which would also be opposed by the surrounding shops on county road.

A new stadium could be ready in 2 to 4 years and with far less hassle than keeping GP.

Just a thought instead of moving grounds why not alter goodison park make gladis st higher and the park end that way it cost less and more seats for all the blues that can't get in.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

{Ed025's Note - that is an option being considered tbone..

09 Mar 2016 19:01:12
There are always spare seats at goodison for blues to get in, the problem with goodison are its restricted views, who wants to pay £40+ for a restricted view? Goodison is dated to say the least.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - it is past its best baz, i want a new stadium myself mate..

09 Mar 2016 19:28:45
We need a new manager first ed025.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - you wont get an argument from me on that one baz..

09 Mar 2016 19:58:23
Ed002
What do you think of frank de boar or belic.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - De Boer is a good manager and knows he will have the pick of a number of good jobs in the next couple of years. Bilic will be staying with West Ham and is very hyped over the new stadium - I think he is a very good manager but when I told the WHU fans that he would be joining they seemed very unimpressed.}

09 Mar 2016 20:21:23
Mourinho, De Boer, Tuchel, Pelegrini take your pick.

Roberto said on radio. It's a funny year in the league look at west brom vs utd

Listen you clown we don't care about west brom, what we care about is losing 7 home games which we should of won.

This is his latest excuse. We only care about Everton, your decision have cost us. Your team set up, the players you pick that should not be in the team.

We lost 8 games in 3 seasons under moyes which ain't bad at home. We lost what teams feared which was goodison. We now have teams coming for a win and getting them.

So it's not a funny old year it's you, please leave.

But his football is more exciting than Moyes. Moyes was no good?

Cobyone don't take your bat home, the day RM was appointed I posted, 'We're Dead' the ed and posters absolutely pelted me.
After I stopped sobbing, I took a deep breath and bit my lip for two years.
Not any more lad, what I said is clearly coming to fruition due to the biggest clown and he certainly isn't one of our posters!
Take a week off and when we beat Chelski and the Arse you can come on and pelt me!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - it would be a boring old world if everyone agreed all the time mushy, i wanted him to be our manager and even though i got it wrong it was still my opinion at the time and i make no apology for that, you have to have thicker skin than that and realize not everyone is right or wrong its just their view mate..

09 Mar 2016 16:28:12

Believable2 Unbelievable1

{Ed025's Note - i know your a positive supporter coby but to be fair we cant tell people how to think mate, lots are not happy and every forum are saying the same thing mate, good luck to you as well..

09 Mar 2016 14:35:48
Without sounding like I am picking an argument which I am not, you are a positive poster and a supporter of Roberto, yet when I criticise him I use facts to back up my point so if you came on and supported Roberto and used facts yourself then maybe people would agree with you? Surely even you as one of the defenders of Roberto cannot be happy with being in 12th position and only winning 4 home games, conceding the most goals at home, losing to teams like West Brom and Swansea a side that had not beaten us in the top flight until Bobby. Being beaten convincingly by a poor United side. Losing a 2 goal lead to Bournemouth and again to West Ham. Oh and being beaten by stoke after being in the lead. Sometimes in life you have to swallow your pride and admit maybe you are wrong.

I want RM to do well but he has lost my support with his poor tactics and decisions and if voicing my opinions makes me a clown then a clown I am.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - well said coco.. :)

09 Mar 2016 22:56:11
Stats and facts can stack up on either side. I don't blame for the weekend as hid tactics should have seen us go 3 up with ten men. I haven't seen that done in a long time. However, certain players let us down.

For me the failings of last year are still there. We are still poor defensively, weak on crosses, still not stopping crosses coming in, Stones' mistakes, Lukaku's first touch and poor simple pass, Howard allowed to stay in goal 2 years too long, failure to buy a covering right back, Mirallas temperament, lack of a plan B, poor substitutions, lack of quality cover up front, garbled rubbish in post match interviews, over hyping players and praising poor performances but probably the worst I've seen was the other week when he had a black belt on with brown shoes. Instant sackable offense in my opinion.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Mar 2016 12:26:58
We do have to be careful what we wish for. at least with Bobby we good going forward, ok can't defend but we score goals.

We could end up with someone like van gaal. Boring football and struggling to win games. I believe utd fans hate him.

I'm going to make an outlandish comment, but everyone is banging on about Lukaku and his goals, but let's be frank he has missed so many chances this season I think he has been disappointing. Yeah he has scored so many goals, but I think Someone like Aguero, Suarez even Saha would have scored nearly double what he has with the chances he has had. And while I'm talking crap, I despise how everyone smashes Barkley. Seriously the guy loves Everton and puts his heart and soul into the team every week. Not the best tackler but every thing else is fine. His pass to Lukaku was spot on and Lukaku fluffed his lines. And lastly Martinez must go if we wish to progress!

Believable2 Unbelievable1

{Ed025's Note - very harsh on rom there aussie, for me he has been the difference to us not being in the relegation dog fight, ross is not everyones cup of tea but he has the quality for me, but sometimes lets himself down with carelessness at times mate..

09 Mar 2016 18:20:29
Spot on ed, I dread to think where we would be without his goals. What we mustn't forget also AT, is that he is still relatively young and nowhere near his peak. Once he gets his consistency sorted he will convert even more of his chances, let's hope he does that with us mate.
Agree with what you say about Ross. The lad is given far too much stick, admittedly he doesn't help himself sometimes by giving the ball away but he will learn as he matures. Scored a few goals and has a few assists so far, his best season for us imo but still with plenty of potential to realise. Us fans should get behind him not jump on his back.

Not my first time defending Barkley. Done it yesterday actually. So I obviously agree with you there AT.

As for Rom agree with spudv and Ed025 he along with Barkley will keep getting better.

I was thinking about what is Robbie goes and I would only replace him with Hiddink. Man of honour and results throughout his career. Agree Ed?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - i do like him toubo but he seems content with being an interim manager these days mate..

09 Mar 2016 11:55:13
Hasn't he said that he is 100% retiring at the end of the season? Pellegrini would be a good shout for me.

I was in Liverpool recently at the Everton 1 and 2 shops, I had decided I was going to buy my kids Everton Jerseys as I am an Evertonian and I want my kids to be, but then it struck me as I stood there do I really want to put my kids thru the same pain and disheartening that ultimately comes with being an Evertonian and this season really brings that home to me so I decided to let them decided, however I layed down the rules no red and they must be from Liverpool;)

Really hope our new money man can see threw this clown we have managing our club. I don't think I've ever been as frustrated by a man as much as I am by bobby bull s. t and I got to say I'm disappointed with some fans thinking what they have seen this season is acceptable. The fans staff players all deserve better
