Would like to see Koeman ring the changes a bit before the window opens. He's nothing to lose except 15 points.
By the way I've binned Lukaku from my fantasy team, so he's sure to start scoring again.

Same here Tedster. I'm going to ditch Stek next so that we can get some clean sheets too.

Givern that Holgate looked comfotable at right back, could there be a short term option of playing Coalman on the wing, he does offer a threat going forward, plus Gerry, and Lennon look wowfully out of touch.

I like your thinking JCW.

I was thinking similar or even slot him into the midfield. One thing is for sure. Holgate has looked pretty comfortable in that role in every game so far. We could do with Tom Davies having a go too. I have to say with Cleverly, Barry and Gana in the team we pose very little attacking threat and that is no reflection on Gana. he has been the one bright star. But those 3 look like they could play forever without us scoring a goal.

I was saying this to my mate the other week. Coleman knows where the net is, causes trouble and puts a shift in. Everything that Deulofeu and Lennon have struggled with this season.

It's a top idea. How do you plan against that? Very capable of creating and will be more than adequate backup cover if holgate needs a bit of support.

Agree with you there Degsy. I personally don't think Cleverley should play for us again.

I tried to give him a chance when we signed him. Everyone was saying what a bad signing he was but I thought I would give him a chance. He has had about 50 chances now and all I can say is that he gets the ball and then makes a slow easy pass. Time and time again. Barry usually does the same. but at least he breaks up the opposition play. Gana does the same but will occasionally run with the ball and play a penetrating pass. Yes Blue Tommy, I would rather let Tom Davies have a go and learn. no wins in 8 now so why carry on struggling with the same old stuff? Koeman must see that now.

Yes Toffee Ace. he can tackle, he can pass, he can head and he can shoot and he can sometimes dribble. Is that not what makes a good midfielder? It also gives him more than Barkley at the moment.

I don't know who keeps disagreeing with my posts but I suspect they disagree because they are my posts! Not because of the content. Whoever it was. please can you explain which bit you disagree with because it looks pretty sensible to me. In this day and age, full backs and midfielders are often inter changed. Just not at Everton?

Also, regarding Davies, from what I've seen of him he is genuinely the most exciting midfield prospect that we have. I would hate for his development to stall just because Koeman doesn't like playing youngsters and woukd rather play Cleverley.

we have to look beyond this season and have faith that we have th right people inplace to make us a force again. i think we need a gk cb cm wide mid and a striker. gk i would like joe heart cb van dyjik cm strootman or schneidrllin winger depay or yarmelenko striker i'd look abroad i like gameiro he destroyed liverpool for sevilla last season and is a different option to rom they won't be cheap but over the next two windows acheivable but i know ill be sitting here deadline day heartbroken again but one can dream.

{Ed025's Note - i hope steve walsh is reading this mogsy, i would be over the moon with those choices mate..

You lads must be joking, Yarmelenko would disrupt the Squad, Koeman and his brother undoubtedly talented would be spending most of their time putting out fires to the detriment of less experienced members of the Squad.

Would prefer Brahimi over either of them. His creativity is something we are sorely lacking.

Gutted for Bolasie. for me, he'll never regain his pace now as his injury is too serious. I wish him the best for his recovery and hope we can move on in January and find a suitable replacement.
