Watched the u23s last week, and I know it's a big step-up, but, Sambou, Donker, and Adeniran, all looked ready, even if only impact subs, the side and Kolman himself have little left to lose, and if they do turn the game, he takes the credit, though personally I prefer him gone, NOW.

hi personally i think he should get a little more time tho i do believe he is making mistakes when picking squad huge mistake from whoever not buying another big name st for me if he does go my first choice manager to replace him if it was possible even tho it would upset some i'd go all out for benitez forget liverpool past great manager and def someone who has the experience to take us to that next level not much else out there prob get slaughtered for this but would anyone else be happy to have him in.

{Ed025's Note - after him calling us a "small club" i dont believe he is an option to be honest fiadh mate..

long time ago mate if he turned club around it soon be forgotten about for me not much choice out there right now another choice for me and although he has little experience i would be happy for unsy to get a short spell in charge see if he has what it takes knows club inside out and think he would certainly bring through more of our youngsters.

I've tried to keep quiet and give Koeman a chance as I did feel he was a good appointment when we brought him in. Alas I feel I have been wrong as it appears we are becoming ineffective on the pitch, this coupled with the public berating of players is becoming hard to stomach!
The question of who would be the right replacement could be debated into the new year, who could we get? Could someone like Carlo Ancelotti be tempted?

I'm with you on that score ed, it would be suicide for the board to employ him any time in the future. They are getting enough stick right now, imagine how half of the fan base would kick off!

Sorry but I am with Fiadh on this .
Being devils advocate so don't SHOOT ME DOWN!
All Liverpool supporters would have Benitez back at the drop of a hat .
The remark he made was like those made by boxers before a bout . He is a top pro and says things like that to get into the oppos heads .
His record with top players is excellent .
No we won't go for him because football supporters are unfortunately generally small minded and would rather cut their nose to spite their face .
All I would say is I don't think we would be in the position we are if Benitez was are manager
Anyway as I say all hypothetical as the board would not employ him for the reasons I have said so our loss.
Also some have said bring Moyes back but if you compare Moyes record with Benitez there is no comparison and what he said and did to us was far far worse than the words said by Benitez.

Ed025, on a similar thread a while ago I seem to remember you tentatively suggesting Sean Dyche as our next manager. I have thought this for a while and wanted him instead of RK. A few people have berated me for this opinion with a general attitude that it shows a "lack of ambition".
I don't understand this mindset. He is now an established Premier League manager who, with all due respect to Burnley, has worked wonders with a rather average squad. He has pulled off some great results against much bigger clubs and seems very well liked by his players, fans and the media.
I personally would love to see what he could do with what is our best squad for many years.

{Ed025's Note - hes an up and coming no nonsense manager tezza and seems the type who could step up to me, hes not a big sam as dyche teams play football but they also have some steel, if ronnie does go then i think he would be a decent replacement mate..

Between Dyche and Howe for me if Koeman departs.
