how fickle us everton fans are talking about getting rid of david moyes, if it wasnt for him then we would be half table of the championship {Ed025's Note - he has been great...but all good things come to an end..to me he seems to have gone stale, maybe a parting of the waves would be beneficial to both parties?..i would hate him to be remembered as someone who ran the team to the ground, and would hate to hear chanting and banners saying MOYES OUT it would be bad all round..

Believable5 Unbelievable1

So youre saying because Moyes was great we must keep him forever he has to go before the fans starting getting on his back,Ed is right.

All as an Everon fan of 25 years I was ashamed to see BK verbally abused at goodison on Saturday. Obviously no one rembers what a state the club was in when he took over Johnson and what type of mediocre side we were. Im not saying he is our saviour coz he ain't, but he does deserve a certain amount of respect in my eyes. We don't need to be like the s**te and start begging people to buy us do we we have more class. If someone wants us they will have us

Pip {Ed025's Note - i dont condone any verbal or any other form of abuse towards him...in previous years he has done his best for the club but now the club has outgrown him, and in my opinion its time for him to move on pip..

Believable7 Unbelievable4

I agree. He has done ok with us but unfortinatly, he hasnt got the money to take us any further. I simply wish he would be more open with the fans. I get the impression he thinks he is the only one who cares about the club. We as blues are very loyal to the club and deserve to know whats happening to OUR CLUB! Come on Bill, we only want to know were we stand. A little bit of honesty goes a long, long way!

Everton Al. {Ed025's Note - great post al...its what we all want..

Agree0 Disagree0

Im not a BU fan , but what is this about being verbally abuse?? It was half a dozen men shouting through a fence a load of valid questions at him. Thats not abuse, just look at them over the park, that is abuse..... {Ed025's Note - i never said he was!..just that i dont condone abuse...but it was intimidating!..

Agree0 Disagree0

A lot has changed in the football world since BK took over. If the likes of city, chelsea and liverpool did not have the backing they now do then we would not be trying to compete financially. We would not be paying over inflated wages to prevent players moving to well off clubs. yes BK is not perfect and has made mistakes but we cannot lay all the blame in his direction. chelsea and city have no where near the history we have. they have been lucky to get a sugar daddy. simple as. {Ed025's Note - not a lot i can argue against there mate...good post

Agree0 Disagree0

Kenwright could of parked any were in that car park he got the driver to park by the b.u lads everone in the car gets out and leaves bill stays pretends to be on the phone with a stupid look on his face, the lads from b.u were not abuseing him but asking valid questions.in a calm manner.bill chose not to answer them but utterd the words b.u have destroyed the club.in my opinion bill who was not driving had been on the sauce a bit of lunch and some wine and he showed his true colours hes no good for are club he is destroying the club we all love ,we need to step up the pressure and get him out before its to late ...soon there will be no one to sell the loan players will be gone and if moyes had a backbone he would resign working for kenwright hes got his hands tied behind his back any self respecting manager would give him a ultimatum .stop selling my best players and give me funds or am off...but no he picks up his 65 grand a week and serves us up this sh.t and says its football .........moyse out....kenwright out..................g

Agree0 Disagree0

Great shout and so bang on the mark ...Kenwright is looking at us fans as a peace of crap now ..Get rid of the person now!
Markyg

Agree0 Disagree0

Im not a BU supporter but from what I saw and heard BK did not get verbally abused. They asked a number of questions that in my opinion BK could have answered if he new the answer. Normally put a camera in his face he cant stop talking.
Im fed up with Everton at the mo we cant score and we constantly concede cack goals.
Bolton was the last straw.....

The Blue Don

What a state we were in!? What was worse than it is now? We had an ageing squad with a red chairman who didn't want to give us money.

What's the difference now? We have an ageing squad and an evertonian chairman who can't give us money because he's sold all of our assets.

When Johnson had us we still had £20Million of assets. Now we have minus £40million.

How I wish for the state we were in back then. I commend BU fully, they're ACTUALLY interested in the welfare of our great club. They don't want Bill's head either (unlike myself) they want an Interim board to sell the club on behalf of Bill. Not to make a show out of him.

Get a grip of yourselves and a bit of information behind you before you start mouthing off about things you have no idea about..... BlueGaz

I think the Prince masks would be an amazing idea. What better way to get the Princes attention than for every blue inside Goodison to be wearing his face. After all, it was the fans passion that won him over in the first place! We need to get this message out there! Anyone know anyone from the Echo or the daily Post? We need to make this happen. Even if its only for kick off, the media would do the rest. Any ideas fellow blues?

Believable3 Unbelievable1

Belfast toffee what would be nice is some respect towards their suporters and remember who pays their wages in the long run what if we all deside not to go to games and buy shirts but we our beter than that bk lower your price and help our club we our the people in the credit crunch wise up

Agree0 Disagree0

Wearing masks would demean the club and the supporters - tantamount to begging

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Jan 2012 19:30:30
guys guys guys, come on think about what your saying.
Firstly we all remember the dark days of agent Johnson, and we were all so pleased that bk saved us from potential disaster if he hadn't have come along we could'v slipped into oblivion.
Next BK openly admits to being a diehard blue and he is desperate to sell. He wants to sell for the benefit of his club as he knows he can't take us any further financially. lets be fair here this is business if you were selling your house you would want the best price wouldn't you?
As much as we all love the club its not ours we dont own or invest in it, we just pay to go and watch. If you pay to go and watch a movie it doesn't mean you have a right to know the ins and outs of the movie industry.Similarly if you buy a pint in a pub it doesn't give you a share of the brewery, so come on get real, football clubs are businesses these days and they don't need to disclose anything to us except annual accounts. I don't like this as much as the next fan but thats how it works and as a fan I am 200% behind the club through good time and bad times.
Its our job to help the team as much as we can not hinder them, so lets channel all our energy into that get behind them and leave the business side to those who have put their money in where it counts.
Lastly why do you want Bk to tell everyone who we are chasing and how much we have to spend, our budget is so small that we don't want to alert other teams to our targets when prob 90% of them can outbid us, either that or arry amster rednapp could thank us for scouting his potential targets like he normally does.
I don't like the state of our great club at the moment but I don't think we should lambast BK as he is doing his utmost to get the right people for the blues, eg hicks & gilette, the venkys etc, so as fans lets show potential investors what a cauldron goodison is and get behind the players we have
(wella) COYB {Ed025's Note - very well written article wella...but its a case of you, and others being brainwashed mate! bill is doing the best for bill...not the club, also without the fans , the club is nothing. he comes across as this mild mannered everton die hard supporter, when really he is a very self centred person who is running this club to the ground!..

Believable3 Unbelievable5

Thanks ed, though I don't think i've been brainwashed, after years of false dawns I'm just a realist.
I'm not in Bks fan club just don't see how putting him in the stocks helps the situation. At boardroom level we have been on a downward spiral since the Moores family sold out. Personally I think if we hadn't have been banned from Europe in the late 80s and we couldv'e kept that team together and built on it, we may have been in a stronger position at the inception of the premier league when all the money came into the game and who knows where we would be now {Ed025's Note - thanks for your post...we are all entitled to our opinion, i am not here to influence anyone!, and will continue to post items whether i agree with them or not...as long as they are acceptable, ie..no gratuitous swearing, threatening, racist, abusive etc..

To the so called blue union.....you do not represent all us blues, you are a small group who are damaging the image and the potential sale of our beloved club, your underhand tactics has hurt us...bill needs to sell to the correct owners because unlike every other owner when he sells he will still have to sit in stand watching his beloved blues...yeh he could had sold the club 10 times over but he doesn't want his beloved blues to fall in to the hands of people like Pompey or Blackburn owners etc,we are lucky to have such a great chairman who has such honour and trustworthyness about him...so keep your blue union with your amatuer ,abusive and underhand tactics...well done bill

Hiya fellow blues and ed's not posted on here for a month or so.
When we got to the cup final in 2009 i really thought we were a team on the up, great players, creativity, future england players, experienced players, youth players coming through and a hungry manager.
Whats happened since then? We had a opportunity to kick on then and become the team that spurs are now we are much bigger than spurs and have a bigger world wide fan base yet our owners did nothing to help Moyes and the team has slowly fell and kept falling and will fall even further if nothing is done ASAP.
Such a shame... i feel like crying with anger every week when i watch the blues !!
Don't know about ed025 or fellow blue noses on here but i am just praying to get through this season without getting dragged into a scrap with the bottom 4 or 5 clubs and getting some sort of take over in the summer ! Without a man who can score regularly and play maker in the middle ANY team in the league will struggle, what did we and Moyes expect this season ? You can't sell Pienaar and Arteta (and even Yakubu and Beckford) and not replace any of them and expect to be OK.
Let's get through to May without having any heart attacks and flirting with the bottom 3 and see what happens in the summer !!

PAUL EFC

Believable5 Unbelievable1

Yes we are a similar club to spurs in respect of attendances and two years ago spent the same on players wages. Biggest difference now is spurs earn much more from hospitality and had a good season in the champions league. This is why they have a transfer kitty where as a high % of our income is spent on a squad which has too many big earners under performing.

Agree0 Disagree0

And to add. Spurs are no longer a selling club.

Agree0 Disagree0

No mate the difference is Levy backed thr Cockney Kray with money. Ol Arry has spent loads of money. We as a club for a brief few seconds went passed Spurs. The issue was we never invested when we were in the qualifiers of the champs league. Remember the hassle over beattie, not having a left back so he resigned Pistone. Thats were went wrong. Also lets not forget having Fernades at the club on a Saturday then not signing him and he goes back to Spain the next day and signs for Valencia. Critiscim that the club from board and management diserve....

People blow the situation at everton way out of proportion after a dodgy result or performance. We are 11th in the league without spending anything which as far as I'm concerned is decent considering are traditionally bad start. We have one of the best managers in the league and a squad still with a lot of quality in. We also have a chairman who is genuinely looking for the right person to buy the club. So everyone should stop believing the media hype and get behind the team!

I am a BK fan and think he has done his best in the current situation, but I can't really see him staying if we do get new investors. A new investor would probably want complete control and possibly a new manager. Depending on the size and power of the investor (the wheelie bin fella) the best job that BK can hope for is head tea boy. I'd love him to stay though, even just to make an Everton TV Drama..

With a net worth estimated at $20.3 billion he is the world's richest Arab, and was nicknamed by Time magazine as the 'Arab Warren Buffett'. His Kingdom Holding Company is said to have interests in Apple, Citicorp, Four Seasons hotels, Euro Disney, Fairmont Hotels, Motorola, NewsCorp and AOL. Last year he was rumored to be buying Everton FC, the English Premier League side.

Almost a third of the month gone no
new transfer news or any decent rumours.
We dont know how much we have to spend.
Despite cashing in nearly 20 mil in sales
in the summer no one has told us officially
how much are debt is.?
We have sold are best players and some playesrs were let go when Moyes should have kept them.
We have saved over 200,000 a week on wages yet give Strac and Mcfadden a contract
despite n ot wanting to play them or cthem being continuallly injured.
I was suprised with BK yesterday, normally when a camera is put in his face he loves to
play to it.
The support is dwindling by the match.
Moyes wanted to get the crowds back.
Well you do that by scoring goals and winning matches, oh and by giving the paying fans something to snile about.
For all the progress Moyesa has made to our club and we have to be honest and say he
got rid of some shocking awful players
from the Smith era.
Well the last two seasons all that work
has gone....... We are cack.....
Ive said for years we are run so poorly
it is laughable we are a corner shop inbetween Harvey Nics and Harrods.

It occurs to me that there are only 3 types of investor that a team can attract.

1. The speculator who thinks they can make money out of the club (short or long term)

2. The rich fan who only has the club at heart and is willing to invest their own money

3. A combination of the above, a rich person who takes a liking to a club for one reason or another and is willing to spend massive amounts in order to obtain status for the club and ultimately themselves or their organisation. The latter has been seen with Chelsea and Man City.

I don't believe for one moment a speculator could afford us and apart from a certain Irish gentleman who has yet to throw his hatbintomthenring and a former Beatle I don't know too many rich Everton fans.

This leaves us with group 3. A person who is attracted to the club (maybe he has had an affinity since watching a game years ago). I believe this is our only opportunity at real investment and whether it be the latest rumour of a Saudi prince or somebody else a year from now, it will happen.

Looking from the outside though, an investor has got to be put off by aggressive behaviour from fans towards the board, especially if it was the fans that first attracted them to the club. And if indeed there are moves behind the scenes or even enquiries that are put off by this behaviour it would explain Kenwrights comments yesterday.

Any thoughts?

I also got told there is no offers atm for billy and moyes was interested in rhodes but the price has rose to high and may switch his attentions to maynard, also everton are playing harball for manolas the greek cb as he is on a free everton want to get him for under a million pounds whereas the greeks want more.
