We need to be as ruthless as liverpool are! We bossed the game v arsenal aswell but only managed a draw! We need a win tomorrow to keep us in fifth and 2 points from fourth! The battle for 4th could go all the way and I want us to one of the teams going for it! It we miss out it's still been a great season!

When Liverpool played at arsenal they lost. We got a point.

Ed quick question, I know the fa cup wimners and the capital one cup winners get europa league and so does 5th, is there another spot? If so how do you grt in? If city were to win the fa cup aswell as the league cup would the last spot go to sixth or the runners up? Sorry I don't have a clue how it works

{Ed025's Note - its the runner up who qualifies swan, there is also a place for the fair play winners...suarez need not apply :)

I don't understand why people are so concerned about the RS results, they were at home, and as last Sunday showed they are a different side away from Anfield.
Concentrate on ourselves as long as we keep doing our thing and picking up the points that's all that counts, plenty of football to be played and we're not out of the fight by a long way, 3 points tomorrow will hurt the RS more than us watching them take 3 today.

2 set pieces again.Liverpool 2 nil up. We will get loads of set pieces tomorrow and be lucky to score from one of them. If we do it will be a direct shot at goal. We are good at those, but our corners and crossed free kicks are awful. Something we need to work on I think.

Agreed. I think RM is doing a great job and is a breath of fresh around Goodison but we need we set pieces. It looks like every team but us works on them. Even if its his plan B!

I'm also concerned that we don't worry about the opposition. Now that might work if you're Bayern Munich but if you're not.

Good views. Yes, I saw the match here; maximum use of the set piece by the RS and something of an Achilles Heel for the Gooners. What shocked me was the scyophantic commentary of the UK TV station. Pathetic. Just watching Chelsea take on Newcastle and although no goals yet, the signs look ominious for a bad Gooners day.

Yeah. I genuinely believe that taking a short corner or free kick should be a punishable offence.
