Use our rumours form to send us everton transfer rumours.

Wow I have just read all the waro and ed25 stuff and I don't like it . I am a huge red and I love our city immensely and by our city I mean the city of Liverpool home of both great clubs Liverpool and Everton . The Merseyside derby was a thing of pride for all the world to watch to sets of fans travelling to Wembley together singing Merseyside that is how it should have always been the friendly Derby . I would love it to be that way again .

I hope you evertonians get a nice new stadium if that's what you want I always prefer to try to remain at a ground if possible as i am a bit of traditionalist . I do see big benefits of being at the docks though. Since the terrible events of Heysel I notice things began to shift to a little very slow at first but when the European ban was there and Everton starting losing there best players which was probably one of the best teams Everton had at the time the blame was put firmly at liverpools door. I can see that over time more younger fans who have grown up with this hate for each other's clubs has made things worse and it's getting a little out of hand .

I love Everton football club my grandad was a blue my nan is a red. But I chose to be a red the only time I want Everton to get beat is if it directly helps us in the league or it's a derby . I wish Everton were coming 2nd to Liverpool every season or battling for leagues and cups but sadly that's not the case.

Hillsborough broke the hearts of many in this city red and blue and the support we showed each other all through and until this day is immense . The families were incredible and how we are both blues and reds proud of the fight they showed the dignity they showed and there fight was finally rewarded with justice which has been far to long and over due . We are the people of this city red and blue yeah banter and jibes are all part and parcel of it bragging rights at work etc . At the last Derby I really didn't like the Everton fans singing always the victims it's never your fault . I would like to ask all Everton fans to never sing that again. I genuinely wish you the best of luck for the season under Koeman as long as you don't beat us . Cheers bitters 😉 YNWA x.

Great post mate, couldn't agree more but fortunately for every sick weirdo like Waro there are thousands of genuine fans like ourselves who realise that is only a game and that when a tragedy such as Hillsborough strikes the game of football descends into irrelevance. As for the mindless chanting, songs etc. I'm afraid that nowadays it appears to be the norm to mock or joke about any tragedy but luckily the people who do are still a very small minority when measured on the grand scale of things.

Good post that Danfield. . waro is just a really bitter red that has issues with efc coming up in the world sucks to be him.

09 Aug 2016 07:03:24
good post Danfield, Waro should take a leaf out of your book mate. I read the posts between ed25 and him and couldn't believe how twisted the man/ child is, shouldn't have been so surprised really as he has been on these pages before trying to wind people up. Every team has their share of neanderthal supporters but that should never outweigh the good ones from either of our clubs.
It would be nice to get that friendly rivalry spirit back, like it was before the prem era but I don't think it will ever be the same, more so for the newer generations. It's a shame as, like ed25, I was at the two games at the old wembley as a kid and the atmosphere was amazing. Fast forward to the new wembley and the semi final a few seasons back and there was a lot of animosity and fighting between both sets of our supporters. Sad to see mate.

Surely Koeman, Walsh and rest of the backroom staff know about other players outside the EPL. EPL are always overpriced (we know as well with the prices on stones and lukaku) but for me £30m is too much for bolasie, 18m for nasri, who hasn't really played for 2 years is not value for money. Surely there is cheaper and/ or better outside of the prem. And I do think mean a messi or bale etc.

Still looks to me we can only spend after selling and I seen no evidence of a change in that department.

Believable2 Unbelievable4

08 Aug 2016 21:23:21
How about Koeman and Walsh is that a change at all Pb78? I'm not having a go but would you rather with no investor at all and still have Martinez as manager?

We'd definitely be relegation candidates then.

Agree2 Disagree1

08 Aug 2016 23:50:31
I would have rather no investor and someone like Moyes in charge the way things are going at the moment. if these rumours of 135k per week for Rom are true ( papertalk ) this to me smacks of desperation from the club - there are strikers out there for 30-40mil who in my opinion would score 20 plus per season but for some reason the club will not sellRom for 60 mill even though it is quite clear from his representitives that he wants out. I do fear we could get hammered on Saturday.

Hi eds.

The witsel saga rumbles on with it swinging between him going to juve or
coming to us

Would koeman not be intrested in matuidi as he seems to be surplus to requirements at psg and utd don't want him. what do you think?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - Another name of a random player Everton has shown no interest in - just fantasy football. I can't even imagine he would agree to move to Everton.}

I watched the Espanyol game back today. Although Gana started off rusty and nervous he really came into the game as it went on. If followed his game closely and he is such a step up from what we have in the middle of the park.

On top of he listened to Koeman when he started shouting at him and made the necessary changes to his game.

The other side to that was how impressive Koeman was on the sidelines recognising immediately what was needed from him and not waiting until half time to have a chat.

It is such a difference to Martinez shouting giberish on the sidelines and throwing hand signals like he was in a rave.

I also didn't realise how much he shouted to Lukaku and for others to get messages to him.

Well if his signings continue to be of Gana's standard then we are looking good for the future.

Deadline day is two weeks into the season that's 3 games and a possible 9 points. Could really do with them sooner. 9 points can make a big difference but if we win all 3 games then I guess it will all be good.

Can't see us signing anybody before the season begins. I hope I'm wrong, don't want to be playing catch up to teams that have already strengthend. Honesty thought we would have got our targets early.

08 Aug 2016 16:45:54
I'll be honest I wouldn't touch Nasri ever. He is lazy, bad attitude and injury prone. I would take Mata over him anyday, though I' not Mata's biggest fan either but I certainly feel Mata is a better player than Nasri.
I also think Nasri is on big wages so I feel this will probably be a stumbling block.
What do you eds think.

Tony Hibbert spotted at finch farm, he was clearing his desk out in the treatment room, in order to set up a twin room for Besic and Gibson.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

08 Aug 2016 14:39:20
What Hibbo forgot to mention was that he has free access to all of the clubs training facilities, he could not use them when the team are in there and he has to use the academy changing rooms. After his comments he is fortunate to be allowed in there.

Equal 4th equal 5th same difference really.

I think it shows how big a club we actually are due to our history.

We can stand tall amongst men knowing our blood is made of sterner stuff. We have a true right to wear our badge with pride.

As Evertonians we have earned our place in footballs hall of fame, we earned our place when football was a real man's game, legs were broken, teeth were lost and supporters didn't sit and cry when the team they loved were relegated.

We are steeped in history where only real men played the game not the premadonna's of todays game, Our players drank beer after the game and not a glass of wine with their meals.

We Played in the wind, the rain, the snow, hail and the fog and the only glove in sight was on the goalkeeper.

We played when the pitches were frozen solid or just full of mud and we never complained. And as supporters we were there with them for every single kick of the ball.

If we got booked it was because we earned it, if we were sent off we had done something to warrant it, we never cried to the referee over decisions and you couldn't knock a player down with a feather. Players didn't roll 20 yards with pretend injuries.

That gentlemen is OUR history, That is where we get our pride from, That is why our badge say's it all, That is why we are Evertonians.

Martins indi looking promisinh, mata a big maybe but possibe, williams and bony possibly too.

Also read we ate after brahma. . that'd be the left side sorted.

Still concerned about cm though. need at least 2 in my opinion, with mo out, Davies learning his trade, it leavesa barry and jimmy mc and cleverley and I'll be honest I don't rate cleverley at all.

Signings please Mr k.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

08 Aug 2016 13:06:10
You left out our new signing and Gibson for CM. Why we'd sign another CM I don't know. I feel CM and left back are the only positions that don't need adding to.

Everywhere else does to some degree or another IMHO. Especially goalkeeper and striker.

Can't believe how mourinho is treating mata, he must really dislike the lad. I'm convinced he definitely has no future at united now, but I bet it'll be deadline day before he goes anywhere just so utd can get an extra 5m. Took him off because he was the smallest on the pitch? Would he of taken messy off if he were there. I highly doubt it. I'd still like us to be in for strootman, but those rumours have vanished. I would also like to see a keeper in this week, spurs demolished inter the other day and I can see a very tough game come next Saturday.

08 Aug 2016 13:58:01
He will be hoping Mata puts in a transfer request to save the club 5% on the fee's payable.

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Aug 2016 14:16:32
If Juan Mata was available he would have several clubs wanting him and with no European football we would be very low on the list of clubs to choose from. The only slight, vague possibility that we could even turn his head to consider us is that we are in the North West so he wouldn't have to move.

Ed, any chance of a poll, Where will the Blues finish at the end of the season?
I'm remaining positive but it's clear we need strength in depth.
Mid table for me but would be interested in general expectations.

{Ed033's Note - Top 4 seems highly unlikely this year for Everton, but the 'Leicester Factor' is still on people's minds.

08 Aug 2016 14:24:58
Thank you for putting up poll Ed033. Is there any chance we could finish 3rd or 4th? Unless I'm missing something I don't see them places in the poll. Not that I think we will. I voted 7th. Was torn between 7th and 8th but I see some voted 1st and 2nd so maybe some would think 3rd or 4th.

Very important poll and its accuracy is of utmost importance!

Right we have one week to change the mood and course of our fans and players plus the season, we need players and every man and his dog knows were and how many.
Current team will struggle, players need a lift and fresh drive, fans are turning on the club and each other but this will get worse if nothing is done.
Spurs will be rubbing there hands and who can blame them.
Come Everton sign some quality last season I looked for liecester's result more than Everton's and to be honest the early buzz of koeman and Walsh has gone.

I thought I was grumpy but you take the biscuit, actually you don't because you would only complain the biscuit was stale.

07 Aug 2016 12:10:54
Grumpy, how have I hung drawn and quatered us! Not said we are going down or we are doomed! Just pointed out that what all can see, we need fresh blood hence a lift for both players and fans. K and W do need time and they will get time but Spurs are light years ahead of us and we need blood. A striker will do lukaku is hit and miss and kone, well he is Kone. The buzz from the evertonians I know is dying as we watch patiently at other clubs improve or are we not allowed to comment.
