Going to go the Springfield mate with the South West Blues who I will be travelling up with. Meeting an old Scouse mate of mine too. If you see a 60 year old blond 5ft 6 guy with short mohican. that's me Al. and I will gladly get you a beer! My last game was Man City so it will have to do well to improve on that.

Just back from the trip to White Hart Lane, and watching a recording of the match. Robles was at fault for two of the goals, have to agree with Woburn though, Ross a lot better in the second half, i still think R K will be be making some big changes in the summer especially at the back, hopefully 3point on Sat, GuernseyBlue.

Disagree about Robles being at fault for two of the goals, the first Gueye dropped of Kane and Barry initially went with his runner before trying to block Kanes shot. The shot from Kane was pretty good, it also looked like Robles didn't get a good view of the shot initially so I am not blaming Robles for that. The second looked like Schniederlin called for the ball early and ran towards Robles to pick it up the spurs players were not right on him but they did then press both him and Williams very quickly, maybe Robles could have called for the ball straight back as a better option but in my mind he was not to totally to blame for that goal the third Ali ran in between Baines and Schnieederlin before scoring. All three goals were team errors not individual mistakes by a single player, Scapegoating Robles for two of the goals is in my opinion rubbish but we all have our opinions. I would rather see us fans get behind the players not pick out individuals for criticism. Why not look at the positives since he has had a run in the side we have looked better at the back than we have for a long time his shot stopping is pretty good and he seems to have a pretty good understanding with the defence as a whole. Yes he does make mistakes and he is not the best Keeper in the world but he is in a good run of form. COYB.

Hi sa90 I will agree to disagree there mate, i think to get to the next level we need to cut out some of the silly mistakes, and am sure R K will make some significant changes staring at the back in the summer widow cheers mate GuernseyBlue,

With GB on this one. The first goal was a combination, Barry not closing down and Robles positioning wasn't too great. Take nothing away from Kane though, it was still a great finish. The second was definitely down to the keeper, silly to throw the ball to a player when they are being closed down. I didn't think MS had asked for it, he didn't seem alert as to what was around him. Maybe he should have passed it straight back but he should never have received the ball in that area or situation. Robles was never a favourite of mine under the last regime but he has, bar the last game, been pretty decent since he came in. Had a fair few clean sheets n his latest run so we shouldn't get on his case too much. Still think we need a new keeper come the summer but I hope Robles gives them a run for their money and makes it hard for RK to drop him.

Imho Robles has been one of the best keepers in premiership since the new year. One bad game and the first defeat in that period doesn't automatically make him crap in my books.

Hated Robles when he first came. He was skinny and looked a liability to me. He has proved me wrong and I'm delighted. He filled out well and if given the chance may well turn out to be a top keeper.

Since our last defeat in December up until the Spuds game he looked like a top keeper to me. What keeper doesn't make mistakes every now and then?

Hi NBTB I agree. with you there mate he has definitely got better as the stats prove, I just think to get into the top four we need to cut the mistakes out, only my opinion mate cheers, GuernseyBlue.

Both Rooney and Shaw omitted from United squad for their upcoming Europa League game. I know it's a possibility that there'll be interest in Rooney from us this summer, just wondering whether Shaw would be worth a punt as well. I know from a few manc mates that they've lost faith in him and Jose clearly has issues, so what do you reckon as a long term Baines replacement?

I was a big fan of Luke Shaw before he went so I'm in your boat with get him in. Something clearly gone wrong at united for him but it did for MS so I don't honk it will be down to attitude. But I do understand he's on a huge contract.

So could be a few £££s to get him through the door. But I like the look of a few of our young lads coming through so you just don't know what Koeman or Walsh have up there sleeve. But yeah I think it's a great shout pal.

I always respect everyone's view on this site however some of the posts are a bit much lately. Everyone giving Barry stick and Ross and most of the team for one performance away to Spurs. How about we just say we got beat by a very strong Spurs side who are having a great season an haven't been beat at home. Maybe Kidman took all that into account to keep it tight for an hour then release mirrallas. It never happened. But was the right thing to do, if we would of played lookman or mirrallas early doors we might not of been in the game at half time. Leave it to Koeman ay lads an let's support whatever decision he makes. Onwards to the next two home games and push for this top 6. COYB.

Good post Anomblue. The positives at the club are definitely prevailing and Koeman is doing a very good job. I posted here defending Robles. People calling for Hart. As I said I'd welcome him with open arms but he has had his fair share of cock ups. Robles hasn't had many at all and imho is not getting enough credit for how he is performing.

I also posted that before the game I thought it was good thinking playing Barry as he would be fresh after not playing for awhile. Turned out wrong. We can all be smart in hindsight. Beat by a better team simple as.

This time next year imho we will be showing the terrific strength Spurs are. Poch has a few seasons with them under his belt. Koeman hasn't even one yet. The changes Koeman made during the game to me shows he can change games. The three sub's introduced made us a lot better and made a different game of it.

Have to agree with posts above RK played what he thought was the best to start we went 1 goal down but kept it tight till half time. He changed the personnel when we needed to score by putting more attacking players on, which worked as we scored 2. Spuds were better than us on the day we switched off 3 times and where punished.

I think most people after Barry's last few performances were aware he isn't up to standard anymore. Plus playing him against a team with pace and aggression was the wrong decision. Koeman has also been decisive in making changes in the past but failed to address this early on when he was struggling badly.

As for Robles. You could pick out most of the games he's played in and he's been brilliant. He's still young as a GK and will get better.

Barkley was superb again. The one midfielder that had bags of composure. Anyone questioning his performance weren't paying attention to him.

Anyone can put whatever they want on here but you've got to back up your argument. And if your wrong it's okay. I've thought one thing then someone has pointed out something and I've changed my point of view. Just don't be an idiot and say he's rubbish but don't say Why. Why is he rubbish?

I thought Ross struggled in the 1st half he did look better when Barry was subbed, I am not sure playing MS and GB is a good idea as they are both too similar for me. I still think RK is trying to find the best personnel for the formations he like to play. Once we get a settled side then we can look at consistency. COYB.

Fair enough I just think the shape was so clearly wrong after about 15 minutes and did not improve until we added some width. Obviously the theory was to keep it tight that is why he played 5 central midfielders of which 4 of them were holding. It caused more problems than it solved, we had no out ball because 6 of our players were within 20 yards of each other.

My only disappointment is that we went in at 1-0 down when it could have been 4. Why not take that chance to change things and go for it. He's been bold before. Also the fact that we had been unbeaten playing a certain way both home and away but he changed it for Spurs and it just took about 30 minutes longer than it should have to revert to type.

We can't and won't win them all, losing at Spurs is not a problem they are better than us. Koeman is doing great. No issues, not depressed just looked quite obvious to me.

Ross was and is good. Schniederlin had an awful game which can happen and is hard to account for. I've read a lot slating the back 4. I don't think they were at fault, we just kept inviting pressure because we couldn't pass to each other because they were all positioned between our box and the half way line in the central area of the pitch with zero width what so ever.

Keep Lukaku, get Bolasie back, add another quality winger centre back and right back and we are getting there:

It's not about giving Barry loads for one bad result, it's about his game and how it's been for a while. He has been too slow for a while now, makes us play too deep and very narrow. This is based on seeing him every game he's played not just one. When we sub him we play better, faster and higher up the pitch.

He has served us well, but as i said in post other day, we have younger, faster and more mobile players sitting on the bench that offer more in the game for the style were playing. Not having a go at him just stating the obvious that it's time he stays benched or used sparingly as a sub.

Ross has been coming along well, not every player has a good full 90 all the time.

Robles was bad as much as he was good, RK should tear him a new one and tell him to look and read the game more, never do that again or he will bench him, give the kid a fright haha.

All this try and hold out is rubbish, we are wanting points, nothing to lose all to gain, I would of played McCarty and Miralles from the start and gave them something to worry about, faster to the ball, starting the game as we finished it might have seen us 2 up instead of them. They are a strong side but I didn't see us needing to fear them or play to hold contain them, to keep it close and then try and pinch the result, load of crap!

Like before we have nothing to lose and all to gain, we should be sending out a fighting team every game.

RK will iron out all this over time I'm sure of.
