I think you are being trolled GB you always get at least one thumb down, no matter what you say. Be interesting to hear why they disagree.

I swear GB you could post that we play in blue and at Goodison and you'd still get a thumbs down, hope we are all looking forward to the summer and all the activity and then that first game in August.

Jonny Evans has reportedly completed a medical at Leicester City!

Evans a bargain at £3m?

3 mil? Even if he only had 2 years left, that's a bargain.

Robert Elstone appointed CEO of Super League. Good! as far away from Everton as possible.

I’ll agree with you on this one DFS. Anyone who thought the kitbag deal was a good idea is just poor. But to extend it was just plain garbage.

I’m sure our new CEO won’t make the same recommendations. Especially as she’s a professor.

What a reaction to the post I sent yesterday! My fault for my poor explanation.
Point I was making:
Players I want 7 in all and capable of playing in a top 6 side.
The 6 where the jury is out means there is potential but yet to prove top class for various reasons.
Schneiders: Obviously capable but been lazy and under performing.
Davies: A really good youngster but prone to run around with head cut off at times. Hopefully will find more composure as he gets older.
Bolasie: Was great but how has the serious injury affected his future?
Tosun: Totally isolated up front so unable to prove himself to date.
Keane: Inauspicious start to Everton career. Good where he came from but was it his team mates?
Calvert L: A nice player in many ways (I remember the City game at the beginning of last season) Not sure where his true position is and there is a level of improvement he must make to get to the top.
All in all Brands and Silva has a major job on their hands.

Tosun Keane Davies and DCL are definite keepers for me.

I said when Davies first broke in to the side that I think he is a mid to lower Prem player or maybe even championship. I stand by that. Nothing against the lad but he doesn’t have the physical attributes to play the sort of midfield role he tries nor has he shown the skill set to alter that role. DCL is similar. I can’t see him being a 15-20 goal a season Prem striker.

It's because they are kids still and won't mature properly for at least 3 or 4 years.

Coleman was farmed out to Blackpool at an older age and didn't look the world class individual he is now.

Bit of patience.

I remember juan iturbe from champ manager. Was a world beater for my team. Another Freddy adu, just drifting into obscurity in Mexican football. Amazing how so many 'next world class players' don't make the grade.

{Ed001's Note - I remember the fuss when he joined Bournemouth on loan, shocking to see how quickly they fall.}

I can't remember which Champ Man but late 90's is my best guesstimate.
A wonder kid I loved and was phenomenal Ibrahima Bakayoko from Montpellier. His stats were through the roof.
Then a few years later he went and signed for us and was an absolute turkey. He scored a sensational goal once that I can remember but other than that he was just embarrassing to watch.

{Ed025's Note - he was known as back of the echo mate..

Speaking of players you think wow, how did we not spot him, only for the guy to go off the radar after a couple of decent seasons, Mitchu from Swansea a prime example, followed by the striker who went Southampton a season or so ago who we failed to land, who’s name has completely gone out of my head, Italian forward.
