I have seen the footage but it's still not that clear, was it for throwing grass in the players direction or something he said?

5 days our celebrated press took before their attempt at selling off our assests began. Fifth bid for stones, PSG for Coleman! If only they spent as much time asking about stadium failures and lack of investment, I.e proper journalism.

This is the hypocrisy of the typical football fan; they hate reading/listening about our 'sales' but couldn't get enough of the Yarmalenko talk. It works both ways. If you want rumours then you have to realize that there will be more bad ones than good ones. Inside or outside of the transfer window is irrelevant.

Why hypocrisy? I never once believed any pro stories about transfers they put in either or made comment. I wait until they are holding up the shirt at finch farm or goodison. Read the post again and you will see my point is they would rather sell our players than look in to why the fourth most successful club in England has invested no more than 2 million a season for the past ten years and had two failed relocations.
Perhaps (pod) you should look and see if I have made that sort of comment before attaching your view on the wrong thread.

But you like to read the rumours even if you don't believe them, right? After all, this is a rumour site. It's not a personal criticism and shouldn't be taken as such. 99.9% of fans are the same; they hate the press for the negative stories yet crave for the very same press to write about stories they view as positive. "Proper journalism" in 2015 is writing stories that people want to read, stories that generate interest and income, stories that sometimes create a stir. It doesn't matter if some people don't like the article. I just don't get the criticsm of the press when we all crave the stories they peddle. Fans want rumours.

Couldn't disagree more Pod, the op is talking sense. He is correct when he says the press try and sell our players on an almost daily basis. First it was Jimmy Mac, then Kev M then Stones then Seamus. He isn't talking about who we might have signed or who we were linked with, he was just stating that they are on the case again, even though the window is closed, to link our better players with any club. I don't think he is saying they are going to these teams, he is just venting his anger that, despite us turning down bids for our better players, the press still link them with other teams. It's an observation mate and he is right in what he says

Pod, your point is true but it wasn't mine, my point is they peddle rumours to get hits, buys etc (a sad reflection of the press these days, yes) but none other than 2hrs on talksport by an ex red have talked about the real issue.

I like blue bill he saved our club at a low point and to a point he has stabilised the club, and neither am I a fan of plane flying, but honestly ask yourself, what next? Be happy with mediocrity or plan to succeed? (as I remember the days we won things)

The club no longer talks to the fans, the last person who did was Alan Myers(ex-sky) and he left abruptly due to disagreements over this exact reason. So fans have to look to the press etc where else is there?

So just to clarify the post was that none of the press seem to care about this as were not the part of the sky love in or from London. Not I do or don't like rumours, it was to emphasise the above!

Dag red, quick question, I would describe arsenal as the best run prem team in the last 20 years, do the papers etc talk about your lack of investment in your playing squad?
