Just my opinion but i honestly don't see anythink changing by sacking koeman and bringing a new manager in it will still be the same team that plays week in week out i say give him a chance he still hasn't got the team and players he wants yes he is stubborn the tactics and team he chooses to play are obviously not working but yet he refuses to change it we are only 7 games into the season we have lost are goal scorer are right back one of are best wide players in bolasie and painfully to say it ross Barkley his drive and ability to run at defenders are team misses him in midfield i honestly think koeman will turn it around give the man a chance.

Can't agree with that at all mate. team is so unbalanced with multiple players playing out of position. and formations all wrong. but each to their own.

I agree mate the tactics and team he chooses to play does not work and he refuses to change them but it's only early days i wasn't really expecting anything spectacular this season as there is so much change going on at Everton still believe can turn it around well at least i hope he can.

For me ash, it's not a case of not being able to change it round, more that he won't. but I hope your right.

Well he had better turn things around. The way we are playing it will be tough to beat any team. Any Evertonian should hope he can get the team winning but I for one have my doubts.

Hi Ashd 89
If we were playing open attackibg expansive football in the Everton tradition, with wingers, constantly hitting the woodwork, and all the goalkeepers making constant world class saves, and us not being awarded blatant penalties I would agree with you .
If he was changing the tactics, if he was giving players like Kenny and Lookman a fair crack of the whip I would agree with you but he ain't .
He is upsetting players and soon more like Looknan will get disillusioned and want to leave . Already there are rumours top clubs are after him .
I am not one as I have already stated for knee jerk reactions but even Guernsey Blue has now seen the light and he is very balanced in these situations.
I think the game against BHA is pivotal especially as Arsenal follows that .
I admire your faith but sometimes LOVE IS BLIND.

I'm not for a new manager but just in reply to OP, a new manager would inherent the same team, but chances are he would not play 3 number 10's, not be stubborn in his player choices, be so narrow and freeze certain players out.

He needs to accept what players he has, and play the best balanced team out of them options, maybe then we will at least compete in games.

A quick question for the eds - do you think in todays society with social media / forums etc such as this site that someone from the football clubs - not just EFC - actually monitors what supporters are saying - I know with my business that I am always looking to see what my customers are saying about me - gathering feedback to see how i can improve

In effect we are all customers of these clubs ( we buy tickets, programmes, food at the ground, merchandise, subscribe to sky sports etc ) and so hopefully they do listen to what we are saying even if it is at the bottom level.

{Ed002's Note - Clubs generally employ someone to run their own forums and typically they are responsible for looking at others. Some clubs use third party businesses to report on the percention of the club as seen in the press, social media etc., and typcally they report back on a regular basis. I know of two sides, and imagine there are more, who attempt to manipulate their perception in the press and media.}

Many on the site have expressed their frustration about RK and wether he should be in or out, as I have but there is another important issue here .
Everton football club basically made a mission statement that we were aiming towards top four in the Prem League.
With this in mind how many of the " big six " would, given our present position, tolortate what we have been served up.
It is very important to emphasis it is NOT the points tally but the manor in which we have played . Yes we don't want to loose but we expect to loose playing football in the manor we have come to expect.
Either free flowing i. e. Howard Kendall or hard to beat David Moyes or Dogs of War
Joe Royle NOT wave a white flag i. e. RK.
This has to be board related as the biggest problem has been our lack of a target man .
Non of the other clubs inc Southampton were prepared to loose their prize asset and arguably ours to us was the biggest of all as it was arguably our only major one .
But we sold him without a replacement.
Ok they can whine " we thought we had Giroud" but we all know what THOUGHT DID!
We then have the ground move which is and has always been at snails pace .
Spurs new ground is being built as we speak . Each time I go past Bramley Moor Dock it's like a morgue .
We have received more information from Mayor Anderson on Twitter and the architect Dan Meis than the club .
We are treated by them like mushrooms.
One lengthy message from Robert Elstone to appease us .
In my opinion the Everton board are useless and are only interested in the main in lining their pockets .
We had planes carrying banners and yet we are no further on in fact we are worse off now than we have ever been .
I really don't know what the answer is .
If all the board and RK were being paid by a third party to ruin our club they would be hard pushed to do a better job .
We moan about the state of the health service but if this lot we're looking after it we would not have one now, we would all be doing DIY at home .

It is a good post the club has set the bar high and good luck with finding a manager who can achieve there goals if Ronald is to go.

Thanks stig mate
Good to get feedback and for people like yourself to take the trouble .
I always try and compliment good comments but obviously they all can't be put on site.

Football is a business it will be run by the management and as long as they keep their shareholders happy then they will continue to run it as they see fit. As a fan you don't have any say in how things are done so there is little point in whinging about it. Nothing will change until there is enough momentum to affect the shareholders profits.

{Ed002's Note - What "shareholders profits" are these?}

On a lighter note a mate of mine just sent me this YouTube link. a homage to Leighton Baines (goals and assists 2008-2010). and for me still consistent. even in this poor spell

the amount of headed goals from midfield is sorely missed.

So, is that it, we all let off a little steam, then we go back to bussiness as normal?
Watching everton playing like a third rate bunch of no hopers?
Change won't happen over night, but, at a very minimum, the time servers in the boardroom, realley do have to be found a roll where they have as little as possible to do with the daiely running of the club.
