We all know the situation with the money or lack of it! I feel that unless some investment comes in, we are going to have to sell before we can do any business.

Heitinga and bily have to go, not good enough

we need a decent striker, its a must, I seriously think Berbetov could be prized away from united for a reasonable price, Donovan in on loan.

Send Stracqualursi back, the lads clearly a joke! Terminate the loan and save the money, hes not even good enough for the reserves!

Howard
Coleman Jags Distin Baines
Donnovan Rodwell Fellaini Drenthe
Saha Berbatov

start playing a more attacking and possitive brand of football, especially at home

I hope that something comes of the takeover interest also, but until its a done deal there is no point dreaming

Im with you on the berbatov comment but im afraid it will take one of rodwell or barkley to interest man u on that one. better of finding someone with their best ahead of them still, preferably another moyes wonder-buy haha

I'd like us to take a chance on Eduardo from Shaktar, we cud get him for around 5m

Agree0 Disagree0

Eduardo would be great. He seems to have dropped off a bit now but he must still have it in him. Where better place to come to resurrect your career than Everton?... Sadly can't see it happening with McFadden though ;)

The tactics Moyes makes us play are slow, they are stale, they don't work how they used to. The players we have are better than how we play, and they know that. There's a reason Moyes falls out with all our strikers! We need to play quicker, we need to take more risks, we need to field our best team (not holding back on players because they're young, if they make mistakes then they'll learn).

I love Moyes but he got a few things wrong yesterday, Seamus at left wing was ridiculous -Drenthe looked boss on the right but Seamus should have been taken off.

Everton will have to sell to buy in January ( unless new owners come )

Its looking like Rodwell will be sold to Man United for £25m. That will be the only departure.

But only £15m of this will be used on transfers.

Everton have already made an enquiry about the availibility of Steven Pienaar for £4m.

Donovan is looking likely to be back on loan unless there is any hiccups.
Peter Odemwingie is the main striking target at about £7m
The rest of the £15m will be put towards a permanent deal for Drenthe.

comes to something when you pay £60 quid for petrol and £20x2 for my two kids and £40 for myself to get up to Newcastle just to see my kids in tears, pick up everton {Ed025's Note - they are not the only ones in tears mate..

HI ED , JUST A QUICK QUESTION . WHERE ABOUTS WOULD YOU PUT DAVID MOYES ON A LIST OF ALL TIME EVERTON MANAGERS WITH ALL THINGS CONSIDERED , ie CURRENT LACK OF FINANCIAL BACKING . {Ed025's Note - in my opinion he comes third...behind harry catteick and howard kendall..

Hey Ed, or anyone else, do you know how to contact any scouts be they Everton or any other team?
I may not be good enough but I would like to try and prove myself. I've only started playing soccer at 13 years old and i've started at u16 when I was 14 years old. {Ed025's Note - it usually happens through your school, or local team, if you are good enough they will find you!...good luck..

Mate am 44 and still hopin to be picked,is your ma like my ma,tells you your the best thing since sliced bread, they mean well, but av got 2 left feet yet she thinks am better than maradona

Agree0 Disagree0

The problem with that is I play with a small village team and my school dosen't have a team for my age. I'm want to try and contact someone because our team isn't very big and scouts never come to our games {Ed025's Note - my advise to you mate, would be to join a local team, who play at weekends, if your village is remote, this may involve some travelling, other than that i would have a talk to your PE teacher, who may be able to point you in the right direction..

Do not call for the sacking of David Moyes. This is a ludicrous idea, its desperate and ill thought. He is a fantastic manager, and will continue to keep us in the division whilst two things happen.

1. He allows our young players - Rodwell, Barkley, Gueye, Vellios, Fellaini, Green, Wallace - to develop into a) very good Everton players or b) sells them for silly money.

2. He waits for investment

These two things are key

ive tried to stop careing about the blues, ive tried to stop goin the game, tried to stop watchin when there on the box,but its like a drug, only this drug puts you on a downer, were useless, and the supporters have had the life sucked out of them...thank god for prozac {Ed025's Note - once EFC is in your blood mate...thats it, us addicts cant shake it off!..

Any thoughts about getting rid of Moyes are stupid. Remember the seasons before he came. Even in our worse seasons with him he has got us going in the 2nd half of the season. He needs all of us to get behind him...and so do the team. The reason he made changes this week was to give some players a rest. Our previous 5 fixtures have taken their toll and very soon we will go an a better run. We need to sign a forward and an Arteta replacement, but we all know this. Moyes will pull a rabbit out of the hat like he always does. Donavon back? Another unknown cheap signing like Lescott, Jags, Peanuts, Mickey...just like he always does. It has been tough but come on fellow blues...lets get behind the boys!

Believable2 Unbelievable0

It just gets frustratin,we havent kicked on since we were last in europe and if you goin to play 451 ,the striker must work really hard and saha not the type, also the man behind the striker must no the role but moyes keeps changing from osman to cahill to whoever,we all hurting at the mobut most of us still behind moyes for the moment at least, next 3 games will tell us where we can finish, efc 4 life {Ed025's Note - we have, as you rightly state, a run of games which will determine our season, but remember, the buck stops at moyes, because he is the manager. forget about the board for a minute(who are pathetic) we still have a lot of quality players!, and its up to david to motivate them, and get results.....this is a results business, and as well as he has served us over the years, no one is bigger than the club, we need to start producing some good performances...and results....over to you david..

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree wit u ed but without money its very hard for moyes, who do u play behind saha or who do u play instead of him,we know moyes will not play 442,he hasnt since he joined us,most teams play 451 now any way, even if they start wit 2 front men, saurez drops deep, rooney the same,i honestly dnt think osman can play the role and cahill hasnt scored in a long time, what do u think

Is anyone else really starting to hate some of their fellow blues? I mean the really negative ones. This bloke in work never stops moaning, on and on and on. Moyes has to go (worst idea ever!), Saha is rubbish, Cahill's had it, he's no good, he doesn't look interested, we'll be lucky to stay up, etc, etc, etc.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD SHUT UP!! If you hate everything about the club so much, sod off and support the other shower. Stop trying to drag the rest of us down with you!

Believable5 Unbelievable1

The only person to blame is kendick

Agree0 Disagree2

You aint got a clue. BK has given his life to EFC... He won't sell to the filth that seems to surround football these dayz. He's making sure the next owner aint gunna destroy us. Just like Pompy, Birmingham etc. Wen right man comes in, he will sell. So get off his dam back and learn a bit about the situation. U want some big fancy foreign owner then fine. but open your dam eyes, look around at whats gone on at other clubs who have sold their soul and then thank your lucky stars we have BK. Ignorant bloke, really pisses me off this chat. {Ed025's Note - is this a wind up mate!...you think BK has given his life to EFC ?...im not doubting his love for the club, but you need to get in the real world pal!, the game has moved on from the time when dinosaurs like him can run a club on a shoestring, its all about financial clout now, and the sooner he realises this, and moves on, the better it will be for this club!..

Agree5 Disagree0

Sorry am I missing something? BK has before come out and admitted what youve said. Who should he have sold the club to by now then? What were their names, backgrounds and financial situations? And what are these people doing now? Im sure the entire forum would like to know about this mass of opportunities that we have missed out on? Because according to you ED BK should have sold the club already? He says any offers were people he didnt want to sell the club to... Unless you can tell us that he has actually turned something decent down then I assume he is only still here because Noone with good intentions actually wants to buy the club? Maybe BK should have sold out to the Venky Group for them to sack moyes and appoint Steve Kean. Coz those r the sorta people your dealing with Ed. {Ed025's Note - i hear what your saying mate, and i dont want to sell out to just anyone!, but the facts are plain, unless we get new owners we will fall further behind the other clubs, our current plight is caused by one thing....lack of investment in players, his job is to secure that investment! which means hes not up to the task..

Agree1 Disagree0

Yeah fair point. But its just a very tough market at the moment. Most people with money in the world right now are quite rightly worried sick about the fact that we are in the worst world recession for many years. Global wages are increasing, price of oil sky rocketing, demand is decreasing, profits margins decreasing, regulation is getting worse, debt levels are sky high, banks are not certain of anything and arn't lending, many banks are fearful of going under. Nations are skint and the Euro is on the verge of collapse. What this means is that the people we seek can't afford to expose themselves to what appears to be a bottomless pit of required money in the football world. We keep hearing Moyes using the phrase that EFC are a 'good investment'. Right now, in this economy, as a business decision EFC is a terrible investment and whoever takes over will need to have a lot of money and be prepared to lose a lot of money. If its ALL down to BK, then the guy has my sympathy.

Jain Group have made it clear to invest in the club, they would make wholesale changes including the removing David Moyes and installing a more experienced manager in european competition.

Believable1 Unbelievable2

When did they say this ?

Agree1 Disagree0

There's only a few managers I would take over Moyes and they're at clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona. Not likely to swap that for the north west.

Hi ed whats the latest on any takeover. Saw the article on jain website about a news conference as stated by a top board member but heard nothing since. Has bungling bill done it again letting the unwanted cat out of the bag to shut everybody up once again as the natives become restless. {Ed025's Note - we need to forget about any takeover mate, and get on with the job of saving our season!....the speculation about the takeover is very premature, these things take time....if in fact they are real at all!..

Hi guys we really need to rest coleman and we should give gueye a few games we also need to play saha and vellios in a partnership. Also if we get some investment we should get Holtby because him and drenthe would be amazing down the wings also I heard we had some interst in chamack from arsenal who we could get for about 8mil and holtby about 15mil we don't need donovan on loan though I think he had his time here and he impressed but I just can't see him ever joining again. Ed your thoughts? BlueGeorge {Ed025's Note - good post george....but i dont think we need chamack, for me he is very poor....but i agree witg the rest..

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Holtby plays down the middle for schalke now, although he can play on the wing, hes just a much better version of osman, more effective in the middle.

I've never once asked for Moyes head. Think he has been awesome for us and generally speaking we would be sunk without him.
However today is a different story. We started with the wrong XI. He then made stupid substitutions and gave all the space in the world to the Barcodes.
We are in a mess and unless something changes - either the manager or his thinking - its going to be a tough season {Ed025's Note - i know how you feel mate..

Howard should have communicated better with Heitinga. Not shifting blame off the Dutchman, but the 'keeper is the one that orchestrates the backline. {Ed025's Note - no blame on johnny.....it was tims fault completely..
