Use our rumours form to send us everton transfer rumours.

Ed... Do you think we will sign any of the loan player's ? Obviously Donovan loves LA too much to sign permanently for us but I would love us to sign Drenthe, if he can learn a bit more about the english game he can be a very dangerous player for us and of course Pienaar ! He was impressive yesturday and i realised watching the game how much we have missed him, we were poor against Wigan but all the good things we did were through him so i would love to see next season a permanent Drenthe and Pienaar on the flanks {Ed025's Note - i think we will sign them all...except landon, peanuuts could be a problem, but if we bung "arrys" dog a few quid..we should be ok..

i know this isn't a rumour but isn't howard out of contract in the summer, what do you think ed? {Ed025's Note - yes he is out of contract in june, but to be honest, i think he is still a quality keeper. yes he was at fault for their goal, but dont forget all the points he has saved us this season..

Believable0 Unbelievable2

I agree Ed, in fact made a great save early in yesterdays match.

Agree0 Disagree0

I find it hard to blame him after watching it in slow motion Ed it took a wicked bounce

Agree0 Disagree0

Why hasn't he been offered a new contract then. That means someone can offer him a pre contract now and we could lose him for nothing and have no keeper, that sounds like the everton way

Latest on takeover. My sources are all barking away at the latest big news. Harry rednapps dog to start due diligence over the next few days. He a major player and has cash to burn in a monaco bank account {Ed025's Note - his PAL and another CHUM of his, told me that this CHAPPIE is right..

Wigan’s goal sprung us into action and we really need to be more proactive; we have conceded first in 62% of games this season with just 1 first half goal in our last 13 league games. We need to attack teams from the off rather than being reactive. It wasn’t a great display by us on a shocking pitch and a draw was a fair result on the balance of play. Beating the league’s top side and then failing to beat the league’s bottom side in one week pretty much encapsulates life as an Evertonian.
Blue Kaz {Ed025's Note - i cant argue with that kaz..

Hope Moyes starts being positive, the decision to bring Neville on for Cahill was unforgivable.
Would love to see a positive team next week against Chelsea, if Cahill is injured as expected i would like to see;
Howard
Hibbert Heitinga Distin Baines
Drenthe(right) Fellaini Gibson Pienaar
Donovan
Jelavic or Straqualersui
Not sure who he should start as the forward because Straq at goodison can get the crowd going and maybe late on come off for Jelavic but i would really like to see a positive line up, i will be fuming if Cahill is injured and Moyes plays Neville with Gibson and pushes Fellaini up with the forward, Fellaini has been outstanding recently because he is playing as a holding midfielder and Gibson has been the one making last minute runs into the box, if Neville starts vs Chelsea and Fellaini is shoved up to support the striker i think it will be a stupid decision
Paul EFC {Ed025's Note - myself..i would like to see the jellyman start along side straq, in a 4-4-2, but i know i am dreaming..

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Yes, ideally we would all love to see 4-4-2 but at the same time we all know that Moyes wont play 4-4-2 so its pointless us all wishing for it.
Moyes needs to set the team up to win from now on, we always set up NOT to lose which people would say is sensible but i think it's negative and over cautious, if he puts a defender in the middle against chelsea if Cahill is injured i will be very disappointed

Agree0 Disagree0

But seriously, if we go all out to attack Chelsea we could get taken on the break...Mata etc. great players. We should go at Chelsea as we did City. Graft, battle and then hit them on the break with flowing football when the moment comes. you cannot beat Chelsea by playing too open a game from the off.

do we want chelski to beat us next week ed keep the other lot out the top four am 50 50 its a no loose......SHOVEL {Ed025's Note - i dont care a jot about the R/S shovel...i hate losing mate, i dont think chelski are all that, i am expecting at least a draw..

Believable0 Unbelievable4

I think we will win 1-0 and it will be a very similar approach to the Man City game, hard work defending in numbers and trying to nick a goal, Chelsea aren't as good as Man City though and we will have more chances i think. COYB

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah but wigan are at the bottom of the league so how can we win man city but draw with wigan? {Ed025's Note - there are no easy games in this league mate..

Will someone tell your new loanee from Spurs to keep his opinions to himself just as he couldn't make it into the team why start rumours about Modric and Bale leaving.
And as for the Rangers reject he hasn't played in a full game in the PL as yet and already coming out and saying it needs the 2 over rated teams from scotland, Why do we need them we have survived first as the old 1st Div and for the last 20 years as the PL without them also if they do leave scotland would that see them win nothing for a very long time. {Ed025's Note - this is not the page for spivs, cockney wide boys, or in fact tax dodgers!!...i suggest that you go down the frog and toad, ....

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont get us started on Spurs mate....hows the diving coaching shaping up or has it slackened off in the last couple of weeks because a certain someone is away at the moment?

Agree0 Disagree0

Why are you posting crap like that on our page? As if we've held Pienaar at gunpoint to say these things. The opinion is his and his alone. Now go and polish your pearly king outfit, the buttons are looking a bit drab.

traveled down from london to watch my first away game on saturday,i must say the language out of the younger evertonions was appauling i tried to speak to these characters blue to blue and i was subjected to non stop abuse and homophobic chants i would like to thank the supporters who stood up and intervened and saved my blushes ,despite this i hope to go to many more away games just need the weather to warm up a bit i had chillbaines in the second half, can anyone tell me why james mcfaddon is not playing or even on the bench..........yours tristen goldberg the third {Ed025's Note - sorry to hear about your experience mate, our supporters are usually well behaved, i guess you caught them on a bad day..that bloody weather did not help!....on the question of why mcfadden is not playing, the answer is simple...he,s crap..

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Thanks for the reply editor,i no james is crap thats stating the obvious but he is cute you cant deny that and after travaling all the way from london i was hoping for a chance to catch is eye....well maybe next time ..yours tristen goldberg the third

Away games are the worst for violence they arent even Evertonians half the time

Agree0 Disagree0

You should've heard the choice language coming out of the mouth of a toothless simpleton with a tash in the Lower Bullens a couple of years ago against West Ham. Thought it was perfectly acceptable to continually use the C word in front of my 5 and 9 year old. BlueTone {Ed025's Note - i hope you told him tone...there is no need for that level of vulgarity when children are present, dont get me wrong..im no vicar, but theres a time and a place..

I think Moyes needs to start letting Drenthe play a more free role behind the front 1/2 striker/s with his pace he could be anywhere on the park when we need him. we'd still have Rodwell, fellani, holding, even Johnny H as a holder (he plays better between the defence and midfield) Gibson can play both holder and att mid lose neville and cahill and bring the fresh blood of coleman, baxter and barkley through..... Thoughts anyone?

not too sure if i play wayyyy to much football manager or if as soon as you become a football manager in real life you lose the plot.

sure ly if you sold rodwell, distin, neville, already sold bily, anichebe

you get get a decent sum, rodwell say 15 mill, distin 1 mill, neville free, bily went at about 5, anichebe 4mill

brought in jelavic for the bily money
anichebe money you could get rhodes i reckon
neville just free up his wages
distin a ready made replacement in duffy
rodwell replace with motolivo for 6-10 mill

jelavic is only meant to be on 25 a week which is less than bily was
rhodes would be on less than anichebe
neville get rid of his which are probs not far off 40 knowing moyes
distin is on more than duffy so that 1 mill is free plus his wages
montolivo would be on equal to rodwell i reckon maybe slightly more
we have already got shot of saha wages too
straq free, drenthe free anyone? about saha wages?

surely you could save close to 80 grand a week there
aswell as say 6-8 mill?

pay the bank whats left after buying pinaar back for what we sold him for ( rumoured to be the deal)

gives us what 5 mill to the bank a better team n less wages?
am i going off my rocker ed??

howard
coleman
duffy
jags
baines
drenthe
fellani
motolivo
pienaar
straq
jelly man

opinions anyone? {Ed001's Note - you are forgetting that you have to pay up a percentage of the player's contracts unless they hand in a written transfer request. So you have to take away millions out of the money you receive.}

Believable1 Unbelievable2

Ahhh im onto it now :) so basically you couldnt quite do it, i just want to see the creativness we had when we had peanuts and arteta, so peanuts and motolivo would be amazing i reckon but ahhh well il stick to fm 12 haha {Ed001's Note - they do have it to a degree on FM12, the loyalty bonus on there is a similar thing.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Distin is our best defender in my opinion, even though he is 34 he is as fit and as healthy as the younger lads, got at least another 2 years left, hope we give him a contarct, agree with Neville though, i really hope he decides to retire, i know thats harsh as he has been a loyal and committed player for us but he offers absolutely nothing anymore apart from great leadership. {Ed025's Note - i agree about distin..he is our best centre half at the moment..

At this time of the season the hardest games are going to be with the teams fighting to stay in the prem the easy one's will be against the mid table teams - nothing to win nothing to lose - the top half could get scrappy with desperation. man u could go any way, arsenal ALWAYS beat us, liverpool will be a good game, could go anyway. chelsea should be 3pnts, tottenham at home we can win - A European place is not out of reach plus a good cup run - this is when the season starts for us COYB!!!!

I think were still missing a creative off-striker player in the creative hole between midfield and attack - tommy graveson was the best we had in that role and we need another like him - or maybe a player like Zola that can skip around someone then play a killer pass in behind the defence

I think were one creative player away from being a good side

We've got good players all over now but we huff and puff and can't seem to unlock the door - we need that final piece in our jigsaw {Ed025's Note - i see the final piece..as the set up of the team...i think we have a very good squad, but for me we have to go at teams from the start! we seem to play better when we are a goal down and i dont like that. come on david, lets go out and frighten teams, and give someone a good hiding

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Barkley is the man but you cnt blame moyes if hes bit cautious wit him this year, lets remember hes a young lad who suffered terrible injury, also we strugglin 4 points,i tink preseason he will blood him some more, true blue, efc 4 life

Agree0 Disagree0

Personally I think barkley could be that player if we play him where Cahill usually plays. Then we could play this next season.

Howard.
Coleman Duffy. Jags. Baines
Drenthe. Gibson. Fellani. .........
Barkley
Jelvalic
Drenthe if we sign him and we can raise funds for a proper great left mid by selling Rodwell. Anyone got any ideas who the left mid could be. Ed?
Blue Kaz {Ed001's Note - surely Pienaar will end up returning on a permanent deal at the end of the season?}

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah its easy, if someone is truly willing to spend 20 million on rodwell then sell him, you could get montolivo from fiorentina for less than 10 million whos better creative wise than anything we have had in ages, now il get slated for this but also aquilani from the sh**e, hes going milan permenantly for what 5 million,, get him!! at roma his creative spark was imense as at milan now, he just needs to be the main midfielder and get constant games, or borja valero from villareal, all three of them you could get for selling rodwell at 20 million its sooo easy id just sell him n get montolivo personally, 10 mill to the bank n 10 mill on getting him in, 2 birdies one stone

Agree0 Disagree0

Just had a thought, if we sell rodwell we could get affelay from barca. great winger
blue kaz

Agree0 Disagree0

Montolivo will not come to Everton haha, the clubs after him include some of the 'top 4' in England, and Italian clubs such as Milan, Napoli, Inter, Palermo. Everton cannot attract a player of such calibre, and even still, cannot afford his wages.

Agree0 Disagree0

Did the closure of the transfer window pass you by?

Agree0 Disagree0

It opens again in a few months - durrr

Agree0 Disagree0

To the fella who said that montolivo is of to higher calibre to join everton, go wobble your cheeks mate, that or at least bring yourself out of 2009 n into 2012 when it comes to serie a players! Montolivo nearly joined genoa in the summer, it was only him wanting to stay in Florence that scuppered the move, it's well documented one of the reasons he fella out of favour at la viola is because the club said no to his 30,000 euro wage demands he then backed down, your telling me everton can't afford his wages n they arnt as big as genoa? Wobble your head mate! He was tipped to go big in like 2008/9 he's not reached them heights atall, Napoli n Milan want him get a grip, genoa was all that went for him. He's like defour and Diego both tipped to become major players but just haven't due to injury or personal reasons or just generally over hyped! He's not even considered to be a part of Italy's current golden generation they have going on

I think we'll sign straq, drenthe on permanent deals not to sure if harry will let us buy pienaar because he for some reason doesn't like everton so tries his hardest not to do business with us {Ed025's Note - the feeling is mutual

Did anyone else at the game today go downstairs at half time? Dangerously packed people were starting to panic . Concern.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

I wanted to go to the game yesterday but EVerton seats had sold out even mid week but I called Wigan yesterday morning and asked if I could buy a couple of tickets to game (non away area - but I'd have sat quietly not winding home fans up) and woman said they were no longer selling tickets - I said are u sold out and she said no - and she said police had stopped them selling any more tickets at 5pm on Friday - totally weird and outrageous as ground was half empty - what was all that about?

Seems to tie in with your overcapacity post though kind of
