Something I think got lost after the great result on Monday was just how quiet it was in the ground. I admit, I watched it on TV so maybe the microphones didn't pick up the atmosphere but it sounded dead. It wasn't the first time this season either. I was at the Chelsea game and was surprised how quiet it was. There are moments when its deafening, but not enough in my opinion. After the game they asked RM about the 'great' atmosphere and he went along with it, being respectful as ever. But I bet part of him wanted to say, 'well they could be a bit louder'. At the mo I think the crowd is nervous, and not sure what to expect. I hope as everyone gets used to our new style, we can get the ground rocking again.

Erm, sorry but are you deaf? The atmosphere at Chelsea was great, maybe give your ears a clean?

Olive oil should do the trick or did you have headphones on listening to your I pod? the atmosphere was tremendous against Chelsea & Nufc.

Jose States playing and scoring for everton is not the same as playing for chelski. Is that a vote of no confidence in Lukaku from the special one?

He's right about that. When he plays and scores for Everton he does it for a club with great history and great fans who support their team and players through thick and think. When he puts the shirt on for Chelsea he represents a nouveau riche car crash of a club who have to spend hundreds of millions and go through a manager a season just to scrape a top 4 finish. Just look at how their fans treated Benitez? Ofcourse we don't have much warmth for that man here, but if a man came to our club and turned our league season around whilst winning the Europa League, do you think he would be hounded out the club? Chelsea are an average club falsely punching above their weight on the back of money from a corrupt Russian oligarch. So yes Jose, it is one thing doing it for Everton and another doing it for Chelsea.

Great shout Hank. Chelsea and the "deluded one" are welcome to each other.

It does not matter all I care about is lukaku scoring goals and if he hits near 20 I feel champ league place

Hope jose continues to knock the lad, the more he gets talked down, the more it improves our chances of getting him to stay, not a fool, know it's still a long shot, and even if the lad was willing to stay, we would av to turn bill upside down and shake out every last penny.

Everton- class, style, integrity, dignity since 1878.
chelski- buying trophies since 2003.
Didn't we just turn them over recently without Lulu?
The man's a first class belligerent idiot, who thinks he's funny but just cones across as a classless infantile fool! The media feed his ego by fawning over him like he's some kind of demigod. {Ed025's Note -

Morning Blues

Just thought I would point the obvious out, if we win tomorrow we go joint top of the Prem, maybe only for 2 hours but cool.

On a more miserable note and trying to prepare myself already, our run will eventually come to an end and I know we will all be devastated but I am loving the football we are playing, we all craved this when Moyes was in charge and now we have it, I was always a fan of Bobby even with his dreadful defence record but as many of us have said "we have much better defenders than the Pie eaters" did

I suspect he will not go there for a point like Davey would have as it is not his way, as the Japaneze said attack attack attack, myself I would take a point now, who am I kidding, would I hell, let's do them tomorrow.

Aren't they tightening the purse strings there now, one of the primary considerations for hiring the dour, deceitful, jock?
They can't afford players like Reus and Gundogan any longer.
Make no mistake, they're on the slide and will be fortunate to finish in the top 4 this season.

Apologies this should've been under the Man U buying players post.
