For the uk based Blues, a little reminder that the fa cup third round draw is live on bbc2 at 7pm tonight.

Nothing beat the sound of the balls rattling in the bag back in my school days with your mates huddled around a transistor radio which I think was on a Monday afternoon around 12.30, old grey cells kicking in so feel free to chip in if incorrect.

Not trying to slate the board or club but anyone seen palace's refurb on stadium?
They looking to put planning permission in January. It looks nice tbh. I just wish we had more info on progress with our stadium. We've been looking into it for ages but still not even put planning permission in.
I know it takes time but it should be high up on the clubs list of priorities.

We've literally just had an update on the stadium in November!

Yeah but John, our stadium been in the pipeline for a long time now and 2 or 3 different sites. How come palace just pop up and get set to throw planning permission in and we still dithering. Everyone knows we need a new stadium and as soon as possible. Goodison is Mecca but it is falling apart.

Hi Ed 025 I see it looks like big Sam is going to hire a sports psychiatrist, maybe we could use one on here lol.

{Ed025's Note - thats too big a job for anybody mate.. :)

I still cannot believe in some forums etc, that Sammy Lee is still hated. For God sake Everton supporters seriously get over it. Yeah he played for the Reds, Rooney kissed the United Badge but you know what who cares. That was then, this is now. I love the passion of the man. I was sceptical at first about the 2 Sam's but I think this could work. In saying that I still expect us to lose at a anfield as Liverpool are white hot, and we are just coming off a really bad cold!

I think you're wrong GB mate, Those whingers will continue to moan no matter who we appoint, they will never get over it because their tiny little biased brains stop working when it comes to common sense.

I am all for people letting off steam or having a moan but for some, nothing Everton do will please some, Big Sam, little Sam, Rooney coming back, Bill Kenwright, potential targets, nah too old, too young, too small, too slow, too big, never played at top level, cladding round Goodison is shite, I am all for letting off steam but some have a masters degree in it.

Spot on there GB mate keep it all in-house and away from the terraces.

We're all the same guys. Some people on here have short memories. If you go back over your own posts you'll see you have moaned about something Everton related. I'm no different.

Some of us will seem like we are constantly moaning but in fact just trying to get a point across. Some mention it once and then get a barrel load of abuse for thinking differently and don't bother again. Then some just go with the flow.

I hope we keep getting different views on here. I've changed my mind a few times after listening to the other side of the argument. I'd also say all in this thread have contributed greatly on here along with many others. And I also think GB eats a bag full of sugar before logging on! He's the happiest person in the world!

However, whoever moans it's because they care just as much as anyone of you. If they didn't they would be on here.

ed25 just really want to know what's going on at EFC something not right it's as though we're being run by remote control, anyone else feel the same it's not being negative just feels wrong bit like Hicks and Gillett at Liverpool they were con men as both sides of the divide now know anyway Eureopen cup next and world cup winners for us after this week smiles.

Believable0 Unbelievable1

{Ed025's Note - some people are just looking for something to moan about mate..

04 Dec 2017 11:10:09
Don't believe any of that mate, this guy Mr Moshiri is the best thing to happen to Everton Football Club, thank goodness Bill found him they will ALWAYS have my total support, seems to me some posters on here are like the rags, just churning out rubbish for the sake of it.

Hehehe go for it GB mate.

03 Dec 2017 19:20:14
ed25 you've previously stated that the net spend last summer not huge what makes you think Jan will be any better Jan is always very expensive for very average players. plus really what is the score with Morishi and his Arsenal connections seems iffy to me the new ground was intended to be a Com Games con trick as we all knew and has now gone tits up in that respect so whose footing the bill, also what's the score with the naming rights to Finch Farm, it all seems very confusing and to be to much under the counter is it Morishi money or some one behind him. open up you know the score.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - the net spend was not huge S&M but that was not for the want of trying, if players like giroud and a couple more had been completed then im sure it would have, it will not be easy but im sure a couple will come in, people are looking for negatives where moshiri is concerned but i cant see any mate..

04 Dec 2017 08:10:54
As regards Moshiri, he is a business man. He sees Everton as an investment rather than some labour of love. He has invested money, whose is not clear, with a view to making a profit. Investment for profit is not a sin. That may not be the case with the source of the money. However, we need to be sanguine about Moshiri. He is in it for the money. That is his right but adjust expectations accordingly.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - he is a business man glen and im sure he does not want to lose money, but it can be a labour of love and in this case i believe it is, people can be very cynical and look for ulterior motives for everything which i think says more about them than than guys like farhad mate..

04 Dec 2017 13:24:36
Maybe we should drive to Moshiris house and drive him out of town with big sticks yelling "GET OFF OUR LAND". That way we can all go back to signing players for 6 figure sums from the championship. Or we could just relax, enjoy the ride and see how it all pans out. You never know it might just work out alright.

04 Dec 2017 12:15:43
Good reply Ed, some always on the gripe mate.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - yes GB but this is the place to have a moan rather than the terraces mate which will affect the players..

04 Dec 2017 15:34:24
Your right there mate.

Agree1 Disagree0

04 Dec 2017 20:57:29
FM has put money in. Hopefully his but a businessman never uses his own money. Would he make a good profit if he sold now? No. Would he make a good profit if we get into the top 6? Not much better than now. Would he get a good profit when we are in our new stadium and not in europe? Not much. He is in it for the long haul. He wants to at least quadruple his investment and to do that he needs us competing and winning at the highest level and filling a stadium week in week out. I will enjoy what comes our way. We have had a hiccup but will recover with the right man. He is the right man.
