Esteban Granero has been linked with Everton, having said that he has been linked with nearly every club in Europe. If by some miracle this was to happen, I would be a very happy Toffee

The Shadow {Ed025's Note - there is so much speculation shadow, im not taking anything for granted...im so sick of being let down.

Degsybluenose

Agree0 Disagree0

Pienaar will be £5m, and Moutinho will be around £30m

Someone on twitter is saying a announcement is coming out of goodison tomorrow ? They reckon takeover ?
I personally reckon if there is we have sold someone :-(

Al blue {Ed025's Note - you may be right al..

Believable4 Unbelievable2

Who is the someone al blue more info please

Agree3 Disagree0

Just seen it al on twitter someone calling himself counter-attacker.

Agree2 Disagree1

Yeah he a arsenal fan who seems sincere hopes a takeover goes through etc he's lived in Liverpool for 5 years that's all I know

Al blue

Agree3 Disagree0

Jc here, when sky sports say there is news then I will believe it. Bill will want the world to know we have new owners.

Agree1 Disagree0

I can confirm that I have seen the person who Al is going on about, he seems pretty confident, or just a REALLY good lier

JM

Agree1 Disagree2

If its the COUNTER ATTACK i've read, he's no Arsenal fan, he's a RS.....

Agree1 Disagree0

The announment coming out off goodison was that kenwrights made 2 million on his shows nothink about takeovers so wake up and smell the coffee.

Happy New Year fellow blues! Like all blues i look forward to the transfer window like a turkey looks forward to Xmas! Our window usually starts in the last few hours of each transfer term which means if we sell big like Arteta and Rooney it means tight fisted Bill and co dont have time to spend any cash! This month i fear the Arteta money is long gone and im sure we will sell again before we purchase someone from the lower leagues! And to make things worse the welcome return of big Vic and his well taken winner on Sunday means the board probably feel we dont need another striker!! Come on Bill gives us a better transfer window than we have indured in recent years!!

Ni Blue

RIP The two Garys!! {Ed025's Note - we start these windows with so much hope...and end it with so much disappointment ..

I would not mind seeing the back of Saha, Cahill and Bily this Jan. Poss 13 - 14 mill there. Get in Defoe for that money and Ken to stump up the cash for Pienaar. {Ed025's Note - £14m??...bit overpriced that mate..

Believable0 Unbelievable4

Sorry mate but we would only get 6m max for billy and hardly anything for cahill, saha would be let go for nothing if he went {Ed025's Note - thats my thoughts aswell..

Agree2 Disagree0

Detest so called bluenoses who say things like they would be glad to see the back of Cahill. You make me sick, in all the time he's been at Everton he's only had 2 periods of a dip in form and on both occassions we know why. Moyes played him when injured and without a break from football. Even then he never gave less than100% for the shirt. Makes me squirm to think we have fans like this, so unforgiving, despite what they have done for the club, on and off the pitch... {Ed025's Note - i have always said i want him to stay, not as a regular starter. but as a great impact player from the bench..

Agree3 Disagree1

Well said mate, I absolutely one hundred percent agree with your statement! Cahill is one of the few players with Osman, Bainesy and Howard who play for the blue shirt, We have a lot of supporters who want to get rid of players when they hit a dip! Give Cahill time as you don't lose what he had that quickly! It is just a confidence thing

Jc here, this is going to do my head in and all fellow blues this time of year. We will be linked with loads of players and some other team will beat us to the player. As per usual we will take to long arguing over a stupid price and someone like stoke will just pay the money and get what they want. I will wait till deadline day and see what moyse gets in the last 10 mins on loan. Funny how kenwright has gone quiet on the sale of our club, I have stuck up for him in the past but im out of excuses now. Can't wait to hear what he says over next 2 weeks, more lies till end of season

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Why should Kenwright tell everyone what's going on? we are only supporters of a football club, we pay to watch Everton play and that is all.
Why should he jeopardise any sale that may or may not be happening. {Ed025's Note - the least the club can do..is at least be honest with the fans, he should come out and say..yes we have a transfer kitty..or no we have no money to spend, then at least we know where we stand!

Agree4 Disagree0

Coz without the fans everton would be nothing, and that goes for all footy teams

Westy {Ed025's Note - spot on westy..

Agree0 Disagree0

He cant say in public yes we have money, no we dont have money. If its yes then other teams know we have money and prices get inflated, if its no, the big teams start looking at our best players, turn their heads, in the belief we have to sell. With money involved the club is a business, and in business you do not reveal your plans to the competition. Want transparency then take money out of football. {Ed025's Note - i know what you are saying...but that could be done with a simple bid!..we, and every sane person on the planet, know that if we do have a kitty, it will be a small one...im just asking for a bit of transparency from the club, a statement of intent..just something!!!..

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Apparently there has been little signs and hints that Nike will take over next year, nothing official on the OF of either party yet though

Hi fellow Evertonians.
Does anyone know if R Drenthe will be available for the Bolton match tomorrow night ? Would be great to see Donavan and Drenthe on each Wing Straqularisi in the middle of a 4-3-3 attacking team I wouldove to see the following line up
Gk-Howard-Rb-hibbert-rcb- jags-LCb- DIstan -Lb- Banies- Lm-Osman-Cm-Cahill-Rm-Rodwel-Lcf-Drenthe-CF-
Staqularisi-Rcf-Donavan
A winning combination what do you think fellow toffees ?
Obviously minus injuired players
Subs - Saha-Vellios-Anachibe-Neville-Barkley-Johnny H- Mucha
Hopefully 3-0 to the Everton The only way is up
Tino Toffee :-) IMWT {Ed025's Note - if you swap tim for ross...i could live with it!..

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Well ED 25 I see where your coming from super attacking team but not much holding defending misfielders I think Tim played very well there on Sunday when the subs were made. But I could live with that.:)

Agree1 Disagree0

Id like to see an attacking line up but moyes plays too defensive with his tactics so i doubt you will see that

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Jan 2012 12:09:31
am i the only one who doesn't want pienaar back. he made his choice to go to spurs and he's been injured anyway but you never know cos moyes likes gambling on injury prone players. Id rather try and get krancjar. plus i know this won't happen but im a big admirer of clint dempsey from fulham but i doubt we have got the money from the arteta sale. {Ed025's Note - got to say im with you there mate..

peanut was great for us, but how come arthur daley rednapp suddenly says hes worth 5mill when he has hardly played, is this to get a few quid towards his impending fine when he gets sent down for tax fraud?cheating hamster faced bar steward

Would people stop
putting rumours about
Lukaku coming, he can't.
Lukaku played for
Anderlecht and Chelsea
this season. Regulations
prevent him for playing
for a third side in the one
season. Let's dispel this
for good.

Believable3 Unbelievable3

If hes goes out on loan the three club rule doesnt apply, so we would be able to loan him

OUR WAYNE ,THE CROCKY CANNONBALL,WANTS TO COME HOME,welcome,or not {Ed025's Note - very welcome...seems like all our sheep want to come home..

Believable4 Unbelievable3

GREAT!! Now all we need is at least £50 million for the fee and for Wayne to take a £180,000 per week pay cut to join us! {Ed025's Note - he has got enough money now...a 2 bedroom maisonette on altcross way for him and colleen is all he needs...and a loan deal....and its job done ;o)

Agree2 Disagree0

Don't joke guys, its true.... He said his mum cooks a mean roast and he wanted that one last taste before the season gets back into full throttle

JM

Agree0 Disagree0

Utter utter b****cks, probably the worst and unlikely to happen rumour this decade {Ed025's Note - but we have been told about the roast dinner temptation ;o)

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont forget farmfoods on his doorstep ed {Ed025's Note - the move sounds even more likely now...plus the western approaches are doing carlsberg for £1.95...if only they done transfers!!

Agree0 Disagree0

He wont come now the dog and gun has been flattened, though alot of grannies will be glad to have him back

Agree0 Disagree0

Wazza may be able to manage a paycut, but his nucleus of family and friends would have something to say i'm sure

thats the problem with these footballers - they are responsible for lots of people some genuine and some not. Wonder if they would be there if Wazza went bankrupt and broke his hip...

Agree0 Disagree0

The word going around is wayne returns ross barkley and jack rodwell go the other way its well known wayne wants to return one day but it was exspected to be when he was in his thirties ths latest spat with old red nose may have speeded things up if wat am hearing is true

Agree0 Disagree0

I do think he'll play for everton again...... When he's past his best, he's 35 and those pies have finally taken their toll.

Agree0 Disagree0

The Dog & Gun may have vanished, but Croxteth is sporting the brand new Abbey Road wine bar for the more 'upper-class' characters. Now that Shrek has a new head of hair plus his mums pending roast dinner there is no way he will deny a return!

ToffeeBoyJack. {Ed025's Note - he will fit in well then...with that beatle wig on his barnet..

Agree0 Disagree0

Hypothical discussion, would you take Rooney in a straight swap for Barkley and Rodwell......very tough call!. I'm not sure myself, Rooney is the finished article, world class in every way. Rodwell and Barkley i think will be future england players but they still have a way to go. {Ed025's Note - like a shot....potential is all well and good, but in the end it has to be realised...shrek is that finished article..

Agree0 Disagree0

No way ladz rooney went to play for england and came back all billy big time if he stays with us for another 2 to 3 years he leaves with are blessing and when he returns he would of got a heros reception not to mention a bigger transfer fee....tell him and his rug hes not welcome not now,not ever you dont sh.t on your club time wont heal these wounds i despise him always will.....................g

Has everyone gone daft! Everyone is getting into the peanuts deal and forgot about realistic targets, and he is going to Sunderland anyway all we mead is get bill to give 5m plus the sale of billy and we could have maynard for 2.5, krankjar for 3.5 and kalou for 1.75 they are cheap because of all of there contracts are ended in the summer and they are the players we need Maynard will score so will kalou and he can create and krankjar he is the creative spark we need and with the bit of money left get that young Aussie lad everyone is talking about. {Ed025's Note - i vote for you as our new director of commerce..

Believable3 Unbelievable2

With that kind of unrealistic price tags, i think we could have messi for 9m

Agree2 Disagree0

Kalou maybe on cheap like 6m as hes out of contarct soon but no way would he ever cost less than maynard who is also ou of contract and he would cost around 1m
