Question for you ed and all the other Ed's, been going through many if the other club sites to see who posts and where, (not to post but to observe) now on every page I found a bit if banter between fans, generally it would be between rivals, however nothing was anywhere as much as the amount of Liverpool fans who post on our site, the closest was Liverpool posts on the united site!

The question ed, is, is there many 'stray' posts from all different supporters that don't get posted, or are Liverpool fans just obsessed with other clubs sites?

Oh man up, you guys talk about us constantly do we have no right to reply to any of this? Ah yes, that's your style isn't it, Moyes can say what he wants about our Luis, but Luis should go to prison for responding! If you don't want us to comment, stop obsessing over us! If I say stuff about you lot on our site I expect you to respond if you want to! It's called a banter page for a reason! {Ed025's Note - i think you may find the obsession is with your guys mate!....our pages have been flooded by tears from whingeing reds "our goal was not offside boo hoo"...."moyes said nasty things about our luis boo hoo"...its you lot that need to man up!..banter is fine, but jeeze...GET OVER IT!..

Hi Guys,

Well like some people on here, I am really fed up of all these stupid Liverpool fans coming on here and ruining our site with their disillusioned and bitter nonsense!

I find it incredibly sad... when I was young I had no problem with Liverpool, they were another team from merseyside and the rivalry always seemed friendly. That is because, during the 90's, we were never a threat to them and as much as they like to call us 'bitter', what we are starting to see and hear now from Pool fans is pathetic and at times downright nasty and all because we are daring to threaten their supremacy!!

It would be sad for both teams if one of us were to be relegated etc. a season without a mersey derby? However, the behaviour of their fans is SO pathetic, arrogant and dare I say 'Bitter' that I am actually revelling in their slide into mid-table mediocrity,( which is sad).

Liverpool fans are fast becoming the laughing stock of the league with their delusions of grandeur and their inexplicable defense of Suarez's behaviour over the course of the last yr! Now they are inventing a kind of 'nationwide' conspiracy to explain there shortcomings as a team... What next? Its pathetic!!

As I said it really saddens me that them losing delights me but then again... a lot of their fans seem to deserve it!

you gotta love today's Liverpool echo, after sad stevie gerrard slammed us as "not showing up to play football" the good old echo put him and brenda back in their place with the actual stats, facts are, we had more chances, more possession, more dominance, more crosses, more passes (and way more class) so put that in your pipe and smoke it coyb

I think the question you should be asking yourself is, why did the best team you've had in decades, near full strength, playing at home, failed to beat the youngest, most inexperienced Liverpool team it will likely ever face for a long time?

For starters, we had three teenagers, THREE TEENAGERS, in our starting XI who don't even have 20 full PL games between them and were playing their first derby.
Two of our best players (Lucas and Johnson) were missing and in our goals was a 2nd choice goalie.
Yet, yet you couldn't take it.

You had virtually your full compliment of players. All bar one of your 'star' players were on the pitch, Baines, Jagielka, Fellani, Jelaviv.
You were the 'more experienced' of the two.
You are, so you argued, the better team.
And you playing at home.

Yet, yet you only managed to salvage a point thru two gift goals and had to be saved by a dubious refereeing call from a certain defeat.
Your keeper ran half the pitch length to try get a 17 yr/o kid sent off; your holier-than-thou captain got booked for a lame dive in a terrible attempt to manipulate the ref; your model professional players hounding the linesman pressuring him to deny the loathsome Suarez a demonstrably legitimate goal 90th minute, amongst your antics on the day.

That's actually how 'strong' and 'better' a team than LFC you are. You are so 'strong' and 'better' than once one of your 'star' players pulled off at HT, you became entirely pedestrian and unimaginative the whole 2nd half.
That's how 'strong' you are: one man goes out and it all comes screeching to a halt for ye.

Seriously, I'd be more concerned if I were you. 'Strongest' Everton team in decades dubiously rescuing a point at Goodison Park against the youngest, most inexperienced Liverpool in decades.

You may want to reconsider and revise your expectations of your team this season. A quick glance at 'title contenders' Arsenal would be advisable.

DILLIE

Believable6 Unbelievable7

I like your post, was it 4 years ago you finished 2nd now your team is poor with young inexperienced players in, what went wrong , you have had plaenty of money to spend

Agree0 Disagree0

Two gift goals!! And your first one off the inside of Baines leg wasn't a gift?

If we want to compare apples for apples, your young inexperienced squad still has players that cost (off the top of my head).
Henderson = £15m
Downing = £20m
Allen= £14m
Suarez = £23m
Johnson = £18m
Carroll = £35m

The fact that Rodgers plays cheap, inexperienced players, should be a relief as it will save you the embarrassment of wasting more money in the transfer market on talentless crap, Give Moyes your transfer budgets and we'll see who would still be the better side!

Agree0 Disagree0

We should have won the game, now we move on and concentrate on top 4.

ToffeeMike

Agree0 Disagree0

What a total plank - before we start can we add up how much you've spent on your team in the last ten years vs what we've spent - and can we look at the total wage bill comparison as well? - then look at league positions - and then please note - we did not have anywhere near a full strength team - we had Hibbo missing (so Coleman) and we also had Gibson missing -(so Neville) - and we had Pienaar missing - (hence Gueye on after cheat Suarez did Mirrallas) - so three first choice players missing - how many first choice players did you have missing?

Agree0 Disagree0

Listen lad your just making yourself look just as much as a tool as your captain. What game where you watching. You do know everton where the team in blue. As for us needing to be concerned about are GREAT club' you need ya head testing. Last week you were all saying everton were punching above there weight. And as for your gang of over hyped, over paid load of rubbish, well were do we start. And if Suarez was even half the man Neville is then he would hold his hands up and apologise for his regular acrobatics. But he won't coz he's not. One last thing kopite close your legs and hold ya nuts coz this is one hell of a sloppy slide your on.....COYB!! LIAM!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Didn't you have your full complement out Sunday excluding Johnson ? We were missing 3 first teamers in Pienaar, Gibson and Hibbert, not one as you suggest. Yes we put in a pathetic performance for the first 20 minutes and 'gifted' YOU 2 goals. As for the next 70 minutes you were comprehensively outplayed, fair and square, and barring some woeful finishing your youngsters would've been buried long before the final moments. Also you were given the benefit of the doubt as suarez should have had an early bath, ditto young sterling. Maybe it's about time you got over it as you're starting to sound a little bitter like stevie gee gee. It's history, move on if that's feasible for you lot. Dragging up the past isn't going to achieve anything. Those straws, I can't quite reach them...

Agree0 Disagree0

Dillie you need to smell the coffee,
This young and inexperienced team you were talking about was replaced by an international centre half,that was 3 centre halfs you had on the pitch.Thank god Hansen and Lawrenson wernt available ,because they were being overrun in midfield,where following an o.g.,yes an own goal,that was clearly a better goal than our "2 gift goals" and a decent effort from "loathsome" your word..you could have been losing at half time..
Howard ran half the length of the pitch why? bcoz sneaky Sterling,"oh Im only 17 so any thing I do is an accident" was being an arse.
Loathsome should have been sent off and bfore you disagree as Ive asked bfore if Jelavic had committed the fouls on Sterling or Agger u would have wanted him flogged...
We accept our captain dove and immediately apologised and was bollocked by our manager.
Have we heard a word from Loathsome or Brenda condemning him..not an F...ing,
Still ,you wont condem a diver.
By the way as Loathsome kicked Mirallas out of the game, who was making one of your other teenagers look crap, and we were missing Pinnear and Gibson your view and assessment of our team is sadly wrong.

I could go on, 2 nd choice goalie...I dont think so your 1st choice was on the bench...all those other reds fans say your first choice should be dropped..

No one denies it was a goal but Iknow that you have never had an occasion in your history where the opposition have had a goal disallowed that should have stood have you??thought not

Hope we dont hear from you anytime soon...

George

Agree0 Disagree0

Dress it up however you want Dillie, we are still the better side on merseyside.. One game doesn't prove anything, the course of the season does so comeback after 38 PL games and try and fight with the same argument you've brought this time round.. I guarantee you wont get past the first sentence before you change your mind, delete your incoherent drivel from the text box and and drag your vile kopite driven thoughts back to your own page.

Oh yeah 2 FA cup medals, 3 league cup medals 2 community shields and oh yeah a champions league and UEFA cup medal to top it all off, that's just excluding the individual honours. Wonder if Moysey will ever match it as a manager? Oh yeah I forgot he hasn't won his FIRST bit of silverware yet. Gotta feel for him he's obviously taken you lot as far as you can go.

Typical red. He has to divert to history to come back with a reply. We might have no trophies under Moyesy, but with his funds (120 million pounds in 10 years - and that came from selling some of his best talents) it's not surprising. I mean Queen Kenny spent that amount in one season and yet we still finished above you. Although I suppose with you supporting the reds it's always going to be "but they need to gel.". Funny thing is it is not like QPR(over 12 new players), you spent that money on about 3 or 4 different players. That doesn't need time to gel because we got 3 different players in January (Stevie P, Gibbo and Mr. Donovan). So Mr, shut up before you embarrass yourself.

Keith EFC.

Agree0 Disagree0

That maybe £120m over ten yrs gross Keith but our net spend, prior to this past window, had been £1.2m a season. I'd hate to hazard a guess what liverpoos net spend is. Somewhere in the region of £50 I would think

Great post tp.....im over the moon here reading this one,i love a good laugh in the afternoon haha well lets get somethings straight eh mate,yous actually done alright in the derby this time, atleast it was competitive instead of the usual walk over so ill give ya that one,now i know that yous have got alot to shout about finishing 7th last year and scrapin a draw in your biggest game of the season this year,so i dont really want to rain on your parade but youve got to be told a few facts mate just to help clue you up a bit......the blues**** did play long ball football the other day, just launchin it into are half most of the time without really creating any genuine goal scoring chances,ok you scored 2,1 of which should never of counted for a start and there was a chance for jelavic or someone that skirtel stopped brilliantly but that was about it as far as goal threats were concerned,were we actually scored 3 legitimate goals,and had quite a few clear chances suarez ,sterling and gerrard to shout out a few so ya were never really in danger of scoring another anyway,on another day it really could of been 4 or 5 nil to the mighty reds so count yaself lucky on that one mate,and did ya notice how tim "hey you guys...." howard and that marielles and neville and osman were chasin after the ref tryin to get are players booked or sent off,that was the real disgrace,dont get me started on nevilles terrible dive haha,as far as slatin gerrard,come on mate,hes one of the best players youve been lucky enough to ever see play in football never in mind the derby,unless you wanted me to list all the liverpool greats and world class players from now until the last 50 years youve been priviged enough to watch break your hearts,mate the blues**** are like shakin stevens he hasnt done anything scince 1985 either so a bit like yourselves really i suppose,so give ya head a wobble lad and sort yaself out,i know its hard but your always gonna be hidden by are enourmous shadow,just accept it and get on with ya life lad.......

I'm not even got to react to Gerrard's comments. Stats prove otherwise Stevie!

Kopites moaning about the lino's decision for them not winning the game! Because i can't think of a referee decision going against us in a derby.... oh no hold on a minute, Suarez dives Rodwell red carded, Kuyt two footed, knee high tackle and stays on the pitch, Carragher's wrestling move in the box on Lescott, no penalty. So please shut it about a bad decision costing you. These things even themselves out over the season, lets not forget the Newcastle game and the ball over the line! With the exception of Suarez (Pains me to say it), Skrtel, Agger, Sterling and Gerrard the rest of their team is very average. Good luck with the team rebuild, see you in about 5 years time.

Hi ed, really getting fed up with reds coming onto our page moaning about our style of play, then you have Gerard showing exactly how much class he really has by not only putting us down in public but by bringing another well respected club like Stoke into the argument! So in response to these clowns, these are some stats from Sundays game

Passes completed
Everton 359. Liverpool 257

Crosses attempted
Everton 34 Liverpool 17

Fouls
Everton 17 Liverpool 19

Long balls attempted
Everton 47 Liverpool 47

Long balls completed

Good stats Kurajan,

Problem is with reds fans and players is that it's never their fault. They couldn't beet us cos their players are too young, we kicked the football too long, we tried to take the ball off them, we called their players divers, the linesman was blind... Bla bla bla.

Mate, it's pointless reasoning with them as they are not going to accept the truth. And until their manager or captain decide to man up, it ain't gunna change.

We should focus on the next game now and move on from the team we played last Sunday,

Here is a very interesting stat I have read over the last couple of days, Liverpool have averaged more long balls per game than Stoke City. Haha, Stoke average 59 a game, Liverpool 62.

That is a bit awkward. I loved Stevies comments, you know why? For once, in a long time, he is worried about Everton now, hence the panic quotes and spiting stuff like "oh, we are better than them still"

Absolutely loved it, he is making Liverpool as a whole club, look very bitter, which is hilarious.

might get criticised for this, but I think we have to start looking a bit at Distin - especially in these Derby games - he is coming towards the end of his career and he has been brilliant for us - but he seems to have a few mistakes in his locker these days - and I reckon he had three of four bloopers on Sunday - and it pains me to say but I reckon Suarez has got the beating of him and they both know it - Suarez deliberately plays himself against Distin rather than against Jags cos he knows he can get around Distin and Distin will make one or two mistakes (FA semi etc) - it needs looking at in future - personally I'd play Johnny instead of Distin against Suarez

I was one of the very few who said before the derby that Heitinga should be preferred to Distin as Suarez has run him ragged every time.. I think I was right.

I see Steven Gerrard is clearly rattled by Everton this season, there can be no other explanation for his latest, little outburst. This is probably the first time in his time at liverpool that Everton have easily the better side and play some scintillating, attacking football and I guess he's feeling a little bit bitter that we're in this position. To suggest we play like Stoke City is pure fantasy on his part, not to mention a blatant lie. I'm guessing he's not one to look at the statistics and match facts otherwise he'd clearly realize how foolish and bitter he sounds. Also his influence on the field is on the slide, with regards to his performance and influence over the officials (though he did manage to keep Sterling on the pitch). All things considered I think it's time he hung up those boots.

Am loving what gerrard has said because it proves he hasent a clue what hes saying, Everton scored more goals than liverpool so far this season {fact}, Everton scored more goals than liverpool keeping the ball along the floor {fact}, Everton scored 2 goals on sunday not 1 was a high ball {fact}, most of liverpool goals have been from set pieces this season just like stoke {fact}, all football pundits are saying Everton playing better football than liverpool {fact} so gerrard and your band of deluded merry men what do you have to say about that, i forgot when you played stoke the other week didnt they have the best 2 chances in the game {fact} ha ha ha typical crying reds. The fact is, he's NEVER felt the need to speak out publicly before. Now we've finished aboove them last season and are above them this season, though it's still early days, I think it's obvious the pressure's getting to him and he KNOWS they're second best on Merseyside at the moment. It sounds like a desperate statement because it actually is

Gerrards rant in the news saying that we are not better than them and we are just like stoke ! Funny that as they couldn't beat them either ! What a pleb.
