just heared distin could be on his way to arsenal, and rodwell to man u for 15m and welbeck in return, but also heared a possible move for aaron lennon could be on the cards. ed you heared any of these ? {Ed011's Note - Of course the rodwell one has been muted a bit, distin is very settled but might fancy a last big payday. Wellbeck and Lennon would be great for us.

Aha as if lennon would leave spurs for a club with no ambition no money and a team full of o.a.p's

Agree1 Disagree2

Haha shut up no ambition, spurs fan ? and o.a.p's we constantly produce the best young players in england. Is wayne rooney good enough for you and why would aaron lennon want to not get a game and i heared jermaine defoe's interested so don't start slagging other teams off especially teams that beat you in the most recent season.

Apparently, Indian billionaire Anil Ambani has been linked with a takeover of Everton. This man is the 6th richest man in the in the WORLD with a reputed fortune of £20 billion. - Speechless, if this was to happen, my god.

but i don't get my hopes up anymore, as Bill would still see him as 'no producing the right funds.'

However, got to support bill if he coughs up the fund of 15mil that moyes believes he will get, imagine the wonders moyes could do with this.
Especially with the sales of
-Yobo - 2mil
-Yak - 4 mil
-Billy - 5mil
-Vaughan (done) 2mil'ish
= 13mil
So that totals out to be 13+15 = 28mil.

Obviously Bill won't give moyes all of this, so we will proberly have 20mil to spend.
Who i would like, and think would be good for us:

FWD - Klose Free - (likely)
Wing - Gradel 500k-1mil from leeds
RB - Gassama 5mil from Lyon
Wing - Biabiany Loan from Inter
Sturridge Loan from Chelsea
St/Wing - Donovan 10mil Galaxy

I would like to see these at Everton, but most of them are unlikely, but some could happen.
Definatly would even go near Barton.
Also leave Ba if he wants more wages.

COYB.
What do ye think ED? {Ed011's Note Sturridge and Donovan would be fantatstic

50/50 whether Moyes goes to Villa. From what I am hearing, Board and Chief exec involved in transfers more than Moyes, but this is the norm these days.
Board have serious doubts over Barton due to bad feeling against his family in the city, which is why he stated that he would prefer to stay at Newcastle.
Blues have around £12m to spend plus cash raised from players BUT this figure includes any additional wages for the coming season which is why certain people at the club interpret this as having no money to spend, so the club will have to be picky on who they bring in on the cheap or on a free. . could rule out Ba and Owen for example.

A change in mentality at Goodison this season. Everton are not intrested in selling there best players, to only replace them with quantity. Instead they will be looking for real quality and will use any finance from the sales of Vaughan, Yobo and Yakubu to attract a better calibre of player on attractive packages, the names I have repetably been told

Owen
Sturridge (loan)
Bebe (loan)
Hargreaves (pay as you play)
Scott Sinclair

These names make sense as the intial outlay is very small and I for one believe every one of these names would improve our squad. I have also been told that there may be a move for Upson on the cards, I personally hope not as I would like to see Duffy emerge this season. {Ed011's Note - I think they should be going for better players than on your list, the likes of Gervinho and Defoe if we want top 6 next season, Sturridge is a good shout though

Ed I would love to see them both at Goodison aswell but they would require considerable outlays, so if Mr Kenwright is willing to stump up some cash then I agree Defoe and Gervinho are higher calibre but if it comes down to wheeling a dealing I believe my list would improve our squad considerably.

Mucho Gracias
Ed 011-Fair point

i hope moyes sets his priorities for the bigger targets like klose and even defoe before making deals for the others. lots of rumours about bothroyd and barton. but are they players that we really want/need? what does everyone think?

Lille winger Gervinho has turned town the chance to join Everton after the Toffees 10m bid was accepted.

Reports in France suggest 24 year-old Gervinho, who can also play up front, was not interested in joining the blues despite his club accepting our offer. Instead, the speedy attacker is believed to prefer a move to Newcastle, who have also lodged an offer for the C te d Ivoire international.
