Fickle fans as per usual. get so fed up of the constant moaning from our fans if it wasn't Allardyce it would be someone else getting it.
From a dreadful position we are safe and almost achieved European football.
I don't particularly like Allardyce but we could have been in a lot worse position. if he moves on he should be able to do so with some level of dignity and respect as he has done what was asked of him. if he stays just get behind the club. could be a summer of positive transition or another false dawn - but isn't that why we are evertonians?

Big Sam or no Sam, the next season starts in less than 14 weeks. Everton plays onwards and upwards. Think of the next two games as the beginning of pre-season.

Stop the belly aching and fist shaking folks, we've been all making ourselves miserable. At the end of the day, this is supposed to be fun.

Rumour control says Fonseca wants Arsenal above us, big Sam it is then.

Didnt realise there's just 2 managers out there.

We will end up with Van Gaal just wait and see, him and Brands will be coming together I have a sneaky feeling, not ITK just having a guess.

01 May 2018 13:00:19
Just out of curiousity Blue Gray, how successful are your guesses?

Agree0 Disagree0

01 May 2018 20:11:55
Well smit666 I still haven't managed to guess the lottery numbers and everytime I play super 6 I don't score very well so my guesses are about as good as SA attacking football.

before everyone who wanted fonseca starts panicking at the column that balague has wrote in the express saying he has rejected us as arsenal are interested, firstly I really don't think he'll be arsenal manager, if you believe him go and stick a tenner on it as he has odds of 50-1 that will help numb the pain! and second I honestly think this guy is one of the worst sources out there gets 50% of his shouts correct.

50% is by far the best strike rate of any footy journo.

for the title he has as an ITK European football expert, he's terrible fatchris.

Why would everton only approach Fonseca now? Surely if they wanted him the approach would have come weeks if not months ago.
As Ed02 said, he is on their list but by no means is he 1st choice. Surely his agent will know that.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Apr 2018 22:53:24
He's also mostly pretty passive aggressive toward Eng clubs. got a chip on his shoulder. Often tries to make stories from nothing.

Part of me hopes these fables will be enough to spring FM into action to secure a new boss.

All feels doomed after the claims from BS.

The U23s and U18s having completed their scheduled fixtures, I'd read that the futures of those players were being announced last week, but I've seen no official. Does anyone on this forum know who's being retained or released?

New Kit looks boss, just hope we can actually deliver something in it!

Just to give us an idea as to where we all think are club is at the moment . how about everyone's thoughts on what clubs you all think are run the worst in the prem and which are run the best . top 5 everyone 🤔.

ManCity, Tottenham, Chelsea, Burnley and (I hate to admit it! ) Liverpool are well-run imho.
Ignoring Everton, the worst-run club imho is West Ham - with WestBrom, Southampton and Newcastle also showing signs of board-level ineptitude.

Best - Burnley, Liverpool, Arsenal, man United, Leicester.

Worst - Chelsea, West Ham, West Brom, Southampton, Stoke.

Just watched the video for the new kit release though it made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up and I really like the new kit I heard everything that was said and thought none of it is true if Sam is still here next season what do you guys think.

Believable0 Unbelievable1

30 Apr 2018 11:41:32
The new kit looks so much better than this years atrocity!
supposed to be worn in the Southampton game.

Agree3 Disagree1

30 Apr 2018 13:47:27
If only the “in with the new” of wearing the new kit against Southampton was matched by the “out with the old” of Allardyce being removed :-)

When Moshiri bought his 49.9% shareholding, did he have an agreement with Kenwright, Woods, etc., to buy more of their shares (taking him over 50%) within an agreed timeframe?
Did Moshiri agree to Kenwright remaining as Chairman (and other directors, executives and staff also remaining) for a set transitional period?
If so, is this the Summer when that timeframe (transitional period) ends?
If not, how can the club have any clarity, direction or leadership going forward?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Did Moshiri agree to Kenwright remaining as Chairman, yes.

Lee1616: it’s clear that BK wouldn’t have remained as chairman without FM’s agreement, BUT the question is if it was for a set transitional period?

Bills tenure runs out this August mate.

Agree0 Disagree1

30 Apr 2018 12:59:42
I don’t think he needs to buy anymore shares Bobby as he’s a majority shareholder without there being a possibility of anyone owning more than he currently has.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Apr 2018 13:21:20
Toffee ace: he might have the LARGEST shareholding with 49.9%, but that’s surely not a MAJORITY if it’s not over 40%? Although I do accept that the current situation gives him de facto control of decision making at the club.

Agree1 Disagree0

30 Apr 2018 13:24:43
GuernseyBlue: so who becomes chairman after BK steps down? Moshiri isn’t even a director at the moment and Elstone will leave for the Rugby Super League. Just hope whoever is on the board, that they aren’t Allardyce supporters.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Apr 2018 14:05:51
He is tge majority share holder as a certain amount of shares are unaccounted for so no one can buy more shares than he has even if they buy the remaining shares i think they would own something like 47% i may be wrong but am sure that's right.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Apr 2018 15:07:18
Hi Bobby don't know who will become Chairman mate if Bill steps down, Usmanov maybe?

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Apr 2018 17:00:17
That’s exactly the case Johny. As there are missing shares that were lost in the Blitz and can’t be recovered as the shareholders have also passed it appears that 49.9 is by default a majority as no one can obtain more than what Farhad owns. So as long as he holds those shares he is in fact the majority shareholder.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Apr 2018 18:05:31
Toffee ace: thanks to you and johny1989 for explaining the shareholding situation. I wonder who’ll eventually get BK’s and JW’s shares.

Can any of the Eds shed any light on what the situation is with Klassen?
I think Davis has struggled with his pass accuracy this season, Rooney hasn't set the world alight the last 5-6 games, Bolassie - I know a different position but he;s not been worth his place
The last I heard Klassen was putting in the effort in training, not throwing tantrums like Schneiderlin and Miralles did, but Klassen seems to be no where near the matchday squad.

Are we just looking to sell him at a loss in the summer? If we do I'm scared he will come back to haunt us.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - I am told Sam just hasn't been all that impressed with him. He doesn't have the pace and workrate of Davies or the experience of Schneiderlin and Rooney, Sam particularly likes experience. The lad got his head down and worked but has struggled to adjust to the tempo of the Prem. Right now there is no plan to sell him but I would not be surprised if they were open to listening to offers. Playing as an attacking midfielder in the Prem seems to be a bit much for him. He was described as being like Xavi in his younger days, so a deeper role may suit him better, but he needs to become more physical to cope with the Prem in that role and it takes time to develop.}

30 Apr 2018 08:39:53
I think, as you said, he got his head down and worked but we haven't then given him the opportunity to adjust to the tempo of the Prem. No games, virtually no squad inclusions and not even U23 matches except one. I don't think you can adapt with just training and in-house matches.
He was captain of Ajax so no mug and as I said previously our current midfield hasn't covered themselves in glory this season. I would be surprised if he didn't move and prove us wrong.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - I do agree with you, but the managers are paid to take these decisions, so they have to go with what they think is best.}

30 Apr 2018 10:23:33
So lack of pace? And of course Schneiderlin and Rooney have that in spades😂
Guy should be given a go in the last few games. Send Rooney on holiday, rest Davies and give Klassen and Beni a go in midfield. What possible harm could is do.

30 Apr 2018 11:11:37
It could cost the club a significant amount if we loose both fixtures and drop down to 10th.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Apr 2018 13:06:18
But could possibly save us millions in the transfer market.
I'm of the same mind as Woburnblue, unless fringe players are given a chance the club will never know their capabilities.
Remember Moyes shipping out Dier and Mustafa without giving them a chance.
