Use our rumours form to send us everton transfer rumours.

Sorry didn't finish my earlier rant about Match of the Day . I couldn't believe it when Liverpool were on second . A game that wasn't exciting, no real talking points and only one goal . Our game had 4 goals, 2 red cards and lots of incident, as well as being end to end . I wonder if a Blues game finishing 1-0 will feature second and a 4 goal Liverpool game on after us will happen this season?
In reply to Richarlison and the Cup match, he is sadly eligible to play on Wednesday.

Its always upsetting and a bleak reflection when we were on last almost exclusively last season.
I know its an obvious annoyance but "they" do have a 100% record and will likely be a bigger threat to the top than us. I assume that's what gives them higher MOTD billing? If we had played somone a little bigger than Bmouth, that'd likely have helped too. Don't worry about it.

Well our live game was on at the weekend before theirs so they can shove that in their pipe and smoke it.

obviously match of the day are going to show pne of the two title challengers before Bournemouth versus everton, I hate this thing blues have where they spit their dummy out over anything the media does about us get a grip.

I think the annoyance is more down to the supposed “parameters” of how they claim they decide which order the games are in, they claim it’s down to how exciting the game is but if they just were honest and say they decide it purely on the size of the clubs fanbase then it would be less annoying.

Does anyone know if the cup game counts as one of Richarlisons 3 game ban?

{Ed002's Note - It will.}

I'm not sure it does Ed. Stated somewhere it's league games and not Cup games. I may be wrong but sure I saw it somewhere that he misses Huddersfield, I think West ham is after that then arsenal game.

{Ed002's Note - Ok, let's hope he has a fantastic game and score lots and lots of goals then.}

Sorry Ed002. I read it wrong. You are right. Article must of said he was back for Arsenal game. My apologies.

{Ed002's Note - There is no need to apologise.}

I thought there was a new rule that suspensions were only enforceable in their own competition. So league for league and cup comp a different thing. I could be wrong as I haven’t checked for sure.

Hope not as anyone sent off tonight could be banned for 3 years if we lose in 2nd round each season.

Big Dunc and Cahill probably would have lifetime bans if that were true Ricktee.

Your not far wrong al for some reason yellow cards picked up in the league cup will not carry through to other domestic competition not sure about red cards only read it was yellows bit confusing if that's true part of a number of changes this season in the league cup i. e. No more extra time before pens we have reverted back to to abba format and ditched the traditional abab format along with one or two more changes hope this helps with the conflicting thoughts guys

Although I've probably just made it worse.

The refereeing of matches and the rules these guys in black are having to enforce are really putting me off the game . Watching these grossly overpaid prim- donnas rolling round the floor in agony trying to get their opponents sent is embarrassing. After watching Harry Kane at Man U get a yellow card ( harshly ) for a worse tackle than the one Jags got a red for leaves me wondering are these guys all refereeing to the same rules . To continue my rant Match of the Day on Saturday annoyed . After waiting patiently last season til the final slot to watch the Blues I thought I had the criteria for the running order understood . Open games with the number of goals and talking points deciding the order.

Think I am starting to get a complex about MOTD, but of course whatever the criteria is they do not have a downer on Everton. As to Referees, of course they have a hard job but again my opinion only but I believe the standard since turning Pro has slipped substantially, I don't know why. I have honestly seen better referees on a Sunday morning park game than some of the so-called Pro's.

Time for us to unleash some of the new boys, time to give the subs a chance to show the other players what they can do if they don't perform, I like our squad this year, I like we have Dowell there and hopefully lookmen, give them the chance, Bernard and if Calvert wants to be counted as a striker need to get a game against Rotherham and get on the score sheet, I'd like to think if he could get a couple of goals and get his confidence up, he could be a player, but goals count, at the moment he's just not scoring. zouma need to play along side holgate for90 mins so they can get an understanding, going to be a long 4 weeks if there pairing doesn't work, but I have a feeling it will, both young, quick and zouma is strong, we have a good squad time to use it .

Congratulations to Rickie for his Brazil call up
Despite the sending off his form deserves it and it will do his confidence a world of good.

Absolutely. And because of his ban we don’t have to worry about him playing with jet lag when he returns.

I no the sending off is a bad thing, but shows he's got some fire in his belly, something we've been lacking of late, just wish we could keep on 11 players for the whole 90mins, think threw stupidity and bad luck, we are dropping points to easily, I just hope this is t going to be a season of bad luck, just seems to be going that way at the minute.
