A question for all posters and eds. in the event koeman get sacked or leaves in 2019 which manager would you go for?

Top of my list would be Marco Silva of Watford looks like a very good manager that's only if we could give him a transfer window etc before the season starts or January.

if it was a mid season sacking I would give the remainder to unsworth think he would bring in the youth he knew was ready and pick the right team giving him the best possible chance of getting the job in which would hopefully see us finsh higher up in the table.

{Ed025's Note - im with you on both counts eddy mate..

Personally I'd like a manager with pedigree, not knocking unsworth but feel if he wants to be a manager he needs to go down the league and get experience, I would don't think we should throw a unknown in to a top job straight away, for me it would be the spurs manager, can't spell his name, offer him double what he's on at spurs he will come 😁.

Why on earth is there talk of sacking the Manager, some of our fans have short memories!
Lets also not forget a lot of fans turned on Barkley after a few poor performances, perhaps the same fans that gave Stones stick and have a go at Lukaku!
a large dose of realism is needed, its a big job that will take time!

I don't want koeman to get sacked I want manager to stay and build a club like moyes did. A club takes time to build and we have a chance to do this it will take. 4-5 years or so. We had a bad run of games that i wasn't expecting to get much from the two things that frustrated me was the performance and the playing players out of position. Koeman took us out of the rot that Martinez left us in but all forgot about martinezs first season was a joy and the europa league journey he took us on was great to and to the fa cup semis football is fickle and opinions. I can say one player was my mom and x player was the worst and billy from. The shop can see it vice Versa and that's why we all love it and this site brings all these opinions together which sometimes cannot be shared because people take too much offence to someone else opinion.

At the end of the day Ed we all want the same for our club but we all have different ideas of how to get there but one thing I for sure this club will get there in the not to distant future.

Just seen koemans comments about niasse and I am very disappointed in him shown no class again the lad has just took the pressure off you for now and also saying the players had a say in who got chosen didn't know what he meant by that comment but he's shown a lack of class washing his laundry in public again as he did with barkley where the club and player got backed into seperate corners because of the manager telling the public every action what was going on. Think this could be the beginning of the end for koeman blaming everyone but his tactics.

I'm with you there Eddy. I support Koeman and I do believe he will get things right eventually, but I am no fan of his managerial style when it comes to man management.

27 Sep 2017 20:56:19
I don't mind when he very first told barkley he needs to be better in public but it should of stopped at that but all the praise from the media for doing that drawn him out massaged his ego and boom they had headlines then it spiralled out of control and sadly for the club and Ross it looks like there is no way back. Just hope it doesn't put any of the other youngsters off signing for the club! He's already mentioned Keane in public 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈.

I Think the supporters have chosen the destiny of the players and how the manger interacts.

Under Martinez everyone was slaying him for protecting players especially Barkley and appearing to not want to be honest to the fans.

Koeman comes in and tells it exactly how it is with the players and everyone gets on his back for being honest.

Our manager and future managers seem destined to feel the wrath of the supporters no matter what they do.

Personally I think we will upset some players that don't follow the managers plans and will leave but he will make a winning mentality in the group that remain.

Only time will tell.

My major takeaway from what Koeman said today is that he STILL thinks he can fit Rooney, Klaassen and Sigurdsson in the same XI. Ron it obviously doesn't work. Hope he's going to prove me wrong if he's persisting with this but he can't rely on a Niasse get out of jail free card every match.

I would forget the £40 Million for Giroud, one possibility after Costa signing for Athletico could be the player I have been asking for for over a year and now picked up by the papers is Kevin Gimero, I remember saying on here how we missed the boat not trying for him before Athletico Madrid signed him, one pacey player with a great goal scoring touch as well, Everton should get a bid in January for the guy, he will not disappoint and certainly my number one top target for the centre forward spot.

Just to add Gimeiro is just over 5ft 7 but don't let his height put anyone off, he can get up to head a ball and is like a Lineker/ Owen type player with skill to add.

Agree2 Disagree0

27 Sep 2017 18:43:13
He's a decent player but Giroud is much better. Both the same age but at their age i'd rather have an experienced EPL performer than someone coming in and learning how to play over here.

He might cost less though if you go by the paps and some pennies left over maybe for some width. Who knows.

Giroud for me. He scores almost 1 in 2 and as a sub.

I totally agree Ed as do I think all Blues, can't believe his list is that long as forgot about most of them, keep up the great articles Ed as appreciated by all

Degs.

{Ed001's Note - the list is not even finished either, I just got fed up of typing them up and checking the year etc. I am ashamed to be from the same city as him to be honest. However that is nothing like the shame the BBC should feel for using public funds to provide him with a platform for his fake persona.}

27 Sep 2017 11:01:21
Well researched and written Ed and great choice of avatar to represent him.
As Murf said a lot of his crimes, because that's what they are, have been put in the background as the years have gone by.
An abolute beaut of the highest order who, if he didn't have a talent for playing football would have spent a lot more time in jail.
I don't blame you for finishing it where it is though, he doesn't deserve any more column inches on the site.
I look forward to the next profile.
