Not really everton related but for those of you who can't make all the matches and watch at home via stream I have just notices ( could of been done ages but only just seen it now) that firstrow is no longer availiable if you have virginmedia they have blocked the site!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Firstrow.org works for Virgin.

And even if it didn't, just use a proxy like I do with PirateBay and Kick-ass torrents, as they're also blocked on Virgin.

Agree0 Disagree0

I use vipbox but its not a great connection sometimes and you get those adverts that you daren't click in case it's malware

Sometimes they say down load their player but that seems dead risky so I don't do it - has anyone else done it and is it ok?

Agree0 Disagree0

I also use cricfree.tv has all ssn channels both BT eurosport ten sports and usually dedicated channels for each premier league fixture

Agree0 Disagree0

Wiziwig is good like first row with loads of links

Wasy {Ed025's Note - rojadiirecta is also good..

Agree0 Disagree0

I use vipbox to watch some games when I can't get the match but I wouldn't worry about the malware too much. I always scan computer after watching a game just to be safe. With regards to the downloading their player, you don't need to do this. Just close that window down and you will still see the game.

anyone else get that sneaky feeling we will bring rodwell back to the club? not settled at city, I think under martinez style he could be great, I mean a lot of his injuries were due partly to moyes medieval training, think under martinez were its more about the ball than the player being a joey he could flourish?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

As much as I liked him I think his body is too far gone with injuries for him to play regularly. I always seen him as a centre half not a midfielder. Good ball player but like I said I think he wouldn't play regularly.

No thanks he is rubbish

Mike-Ox Long

Agree0 Disagree0

Blame moyes for some things but I doubt he was the one who made him injury prone, going a bit too far there

MikedeBlue

Agree0 Disagree0

Why? We sold him for a reason, he wasn't good enough.

Agree0 Disagree0

We sold him because we needed the money ToffeeMike, he is quality and there is no getting away from it.

Runs around like a headless chicken and never puts in a tackle, in the top 25 worst players we have ever had, absolutely awful

Mike-Ox Long

Agree0 Disagree0

Andy the Chef, if we needed the money we would have sold Baines last summer, we were lucky getting that much for Rodwell. Garbage.

I think all the Baines talk is spot on and here is why. He is coming to the end of his contract. Stubb's comments about him wanting to go to Utd. Martinez saying he will be offered a new contract. then 5 days later saying no contract discussions are taking place. All the press rumours. And finally and most importantly.no player plays for a pay cheque only. Of course the money is important, but more important is winning trophies. All Baine's old mates at Wigan have now won a trophy. A major trophy. Do you all really think he wants to play his final few years at Everton rather than Manchester United where he has a much better chance of a trophy? Whichever way you look at it I think he will be off. Assuming Moyes does a good job there. which I think he will. I think Utd will be top 3 at Christmas. And with Baines and a couple more signings?
Degsypulford

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Nobody would be more gutted to see Bainsey go than me, but the points you raise about winning trophies are, (unfortunately), valid. However, what annoys me is all the assumption that he will go to Utd. The way I look at it, (& I love putting this to the Utd fans I know), is that Bainsey is now one of the top 5 left backs in Europe. Therefore, it would only make sense for him to go to one of the top 5 teams. This means that unless Real, Barca, Juventus, Bayern or Milan/Inter come in for him he's not really moving forward.
I would also disagree that Utd will be top 3 at Xmas - there's even a good chance they will be out of Europe by then, so why would any top player want to sign for them?

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would he want to leave to win a trophy. As we know, trophies are no longer important, and winning trophies are for losers.
League Cup = Just a Mickey Mouse cup
FA Cup = Worthless
League = Who really cares
Champions League = Pointless
Europa League = even worse that the Mickey Mouse cup

All that matters in this game is finishing in the top 4. Baines may as well stay here and see if he can achieve the ultimate goal and the greatest achievement in the world here.

Agree0 Disagree0

If all he wants to do is win trophies he should sign for Celtic. Utd will win nothing this year. It's between City, Chelsea and the Spurs, who it has to be said are developing a very nice squad.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mike, you are to Everton banter what Adrian Durham is to .

But when Durham gets it right, it's very annoying. And just like him, on this point you are right and therefore annoying.

Top four it is then to keep Bainsey. Might even be able to lure Mucha back too ;-)

Good point about Celtic, Twoold. I have to say though that this season I can see Arsenal nicking the league, (especially if they have the money their chairman says they've got for January - lucky gets!)

Agree0 Disagree0

If he wanted to go to utd that much he would have went .i think everton will announce a new contract when he's signs it .

Agree0 Disagree0

Hey guys, I agree with most of your points below. However, the one thing I am sure of is that Utd will be in the top 3. We are only 5 games in and people are writing off the same team that won the Premiership at a canter. Yes the other teams have strengthened to some degree, but remember that each of them has already lost a game. I also expect that Utd will sign 2 or 3 quality players in Jan.
When the usual early strange results settle down we will see the Premiership settle down to the same old fewat the top. I hope with one exception. and that's us. I think we may still draw too many games that we should have won, but I don't see us losing too many either. Let's hope this season is the top 4 we all crave.
COYB Degsypulford

Agree0 Disagree0

A. Baines is under contract for another two years. B. United will not wait two years to solve their left back problem. C. If he did run down his contract and walk away he would be 31, the man they are trying to replace is 32. Thus, a new 4-5 year contract on good terms, or play out your current deal with no big pay off, sometimes you have to front people up with the real world to get them to make the right choice.

Agree0 Disagree0

Moyes will never win a tropy its not in in his dna you have to be bold any way **** him everton is the only thing we should consider tom efc

What do we think for Monday? Personally worried as don't want weasle to get the better of us, should have smashed them last season. Hope we can capitalise on any chances we create and are not left with yet another "it was pleasing that we created so many chances" excuse on the back of losing a match. Lukaku to start and destroy their defence, although they love to get stuck in don't they.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

They have a poor team, cabaye doesn't want to be there our only worry is ben one game a season arfa

Mike-Ox Long

Agree0 Disagree0

Cabaye doesn't want to be there? he apologised to the fans. Remy will tear you apart

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Sep 2013 20:40:56
Doesnt matter if he apologized to the fans, if you gave him the choice arsenal or newcastle he would be off to the emirates and remy will tear us apart oh jesus I won't sleep tonight worried about that, distin will keep him quiet again

Mike-Ox Long

Agree0 Disagree0

If Remy will 'tear us apart' I'd hate to think what Lukaku and Mirallas will do to the skunks back line. It could get very messy for you

Would like to say I'm really enjoying this Everton v Liverpool league battle the last couple years. It makes things exciting! If u get a run going and play lukaku week in week out I see no reason why your not top 4 quality either. Remember Liverpool and Everton have a good respect between the teams. let's keep it that way! Good luck guys!
LFC Ben

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Nice one Ben. That's the way I look at it too. Although some of your supporters are not quite as respectful as you. I guess some of ours are the same. Unfortunately, the Champions League format makes the rest of the Premiership a bit of a "also ran" these days. Unless you are in it, the money generated is only half of what you could earn as a club. that's why your owners are chucking money at players hoping to get you back in. I don't know if you will this season, but I think you have a much stronger squad and I have been particularly impressed with Sturridge. He seems to be one of those players who does nothing for 89 mins then bang. scores a goal. Good luck to you, but more luck to us I hope.
Degsypulford

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks mate! I think it's great having our to teams battling at the top. Yes I think if we keep our top players fit there's not much better than coutinho, Suarez and sturridge. Even though sturridge has totaly given up last couple games. Your signings of Barry and lukaku will really improve you plus you defiantly pip us in the wing back positions, it's gunna be close. Liverpool and Everton for 3rd and 4th! LFC Ben
