Hey Ed 025 good news for Everton with Gueye signing a new 5 yr contract at Everton, good player, with regards the appointment of a new manager for us, it does matter one bit what any of us think on here, we can argue till we are blue in the face as to who we should pick, I am sure the Everton board will do what they think is best for Everton, at the end of the day I will support whoever they think is right for us.

All great Managers must start somewhere. The bottom line is Rhino may be a great manager or he could be no good. Let's give him a chance! Some great Managers would want us to play a certain style which may not suit Everton FC, that is why I think Unsworth suits our players and vice versa. The Chelsea game was a good start!

Agree AT. You'll never know if he isn't given the chance to stake his claim.

Do Everton have the time to give someone a chance? I know it is early in the season but being mid table you may have the possibility of a trial run but sitting in the bottom three doesn't give you leeway to play with. It can quickly go disastrously wrong. I don't think Everton have the points to give Unsworth several games to see how he does. Leicester is a very big game and anything other than three points will be a bad result.

have not posted since unsy's first game so here goes folks,

played at koeman level in first half but second half much better (unsy must have got in their ears at half time! ) and improved

think unsworth was very clever in his team selection and presser as he drafted back in the players shunned by koeman and showed them they still have a future to fight for here (ross, lennon, mccarthy and even throwing kev straight in0 seems like a really arm round your shoulder manager, the type our team needs right now tbh! was very sceptical at first over the idea of him becoming our manager but slowly warming to the idea
over n out WBLUE.

Seems some people are fans of Rooney before fans of Everton Rooney is a good sub that's all.

People seem to be a bit critical of Rooney since he came back from what I see in this and other forums. But what did we all expect from him? It's no secret that we lost goals when Rom left but I would have been happy if Wayne chipped in with 10 goals, with others bagging around the same spreading the goals out a bit and not being reliant on one player. He's got 4 so far so he's nearly half way for me. Let's not forget that not many, if any, have been performing anywhere near the required levels in the league. We all seem to agree that this is down to the previous manager so hopefully they will all improve going forward from now. I think they should all start with a clean slate and be judged on what they do starting this weekend.

Rooney has been one of our better players to be fair to him. Not a great fan though but at least you know with him he will give 100%.
