Alrite ed just got to share this, me and the mrs made our 250 mile trip to goodison on sat, but we were running a bit late by the time we checked in at the hotel, so decided to get in a taxi from queen square, were we bumped into Ian snodin so we asked could we share a cab, he said yes and I couldn't emphasise what a great bloke he was, wouldn't take any money of us and walked with us when we'd got out of the cab, between that and the performance it made the 500 mile round trip worth every penny i'm still smiling now.

Hi Ed, I wanted to post a message on the Arsenal fan site sending Pat Rice my best wishes & a speedy recovery in his fight with cancer. I can't post it, even with my sign in name, as the page doesn't seem to allow it. If it's not possible to do this, could you pass on the message to the Arsenal Ed, please? I always liked him as a player & his loyalty to the club is exemplary. I'm sure many fellow Evertonians feel the same. Thanks.

Yeah Ed. Send a message from all Blues. don't think anyone would object to that.

Question for the tecno wizards out there.

When you watch the match on Wiziwig etc the picture is awful when you enlarge it, is there anything I can do about that, it's not my connection as I am on BT Fibre optic, also PC is pretty decent and fast enough.

Anyone have any ideas to improve the pic

Cheers

Yes go on vipbox .bigger selection I thnk . VIPBOX SPORTS tp .

Being a bit techno as you put it. The answer is no.
Without getting too technical, your basically watching 4th or 5th repeat.
1) the satellite view the streamer is receiving.
2) Cabled to his PC
3) Sent back out from his PC to host
4) from host to site your watching on (Wiz wig will be one of many)
5) you watch.

Your watching a video that's, from the site your on, from the site it's embedded from, from the streamers PC, from the satellite box, from the satellite, from the game.

Cheers Doc, will have to put up with it, going to try Vipbox

Are you struggling for decent coverage of the Albanian semi-pro league again, Degsy? Matt Lorenzo presenting. Earl Barrett and former Hawkwind bass player Alan Davey as match analysts. Sinstadt commentating. Sponsored by BOC Used Car Centre, Bolton. What's not to like?

Degsy I find if you keep refreshing the page it usually improves

Hi Ed, I think a poll asking whether fans think we will beat manchester united would be good. It would measure the optimism of the fans at the moment. Thanks.

I think we can beat them its a big pitch old trafford which will suit our wingers and attacking play but we will have to defend like a team and hit on the break I think COME ON YOU BLUES

I think we should be favourites on current form we have the upper hand in every waythey have a good goalie and rooney we have players in every position better than therse mid field will the game so there is no contest

02 Dec 2013 10:33:34
Dont forget they won the league with those worse players than us mate, we won't be favourites and that's they way I like it.

Cant believe its not on TV anywhere

degsybluenose

It will be on wiziwig.eu

Got to say I've never been more optimistic going there. With our style of play and fresh approach from Roberto we will give them problems. Obviously Rooney needs to be stopped but if we aren't behind after 20 minutes I can see up going on to win the game 1-2

I will be watching it live in Bangkok, unfortunately it is at 3am, but I do not work any more, so will enjoy a win at Old trafford,
Come on Blues

Set your alarm bkk Pete. You might have a great start to your day. Blues around the world, love it

Hi Ed
What area's do you think we need to strengthen in and cover for, So we can push for a champions league spot?
I think the next two games will definitely determine if we are capable to push for a champions league place.
In my view if feel we are more capable of doing it under mate Martinez as we look to win every game under his tactics.
What's your view on us reaching a champions league spot also?

My team for United would be:
Howard
Coleman/Jags/Distin/Oviedo
Barry/McCarthy
Mirallas/Barkley/Pienaar
Lukaku

Yes Osman and Del boy were fantastic but so were Barkley and Mirallas for the derby. I just think they are more suited for this big occassion but I'm sure Martinez will get it right no matter who he picks.

That's definitely the right team to play. RB and KM have had ten days since the last game by Wednesday (km a short sub appearance on sat) so will be fresh against United.

Then bring on Del boy on 65 and let him loose on a tired back 4.

I see a lot of speculation regarding wingers but if I was to be hones I think we have a enough competition and quality on the wings at the moment. But we have a distinct lack of holding midfielders. Yes Osman and Barkley can play there but they are more effective in the attacking midfield role. We need competition and cover for Barry and McCarthy, who I may add, have been outstanding this season. If a good affordable striker came available I would like to add to the strike force to get realistic cover and competition for Lukaku. Loan Jelavic out maybe if we can't sell him. Defence is sound for now but when Heitinga goes we will need to replace him.
To be honest, there is not that much we need to change, just add one player (DM) and improve one or two sqaud players mentioned.

Dont forget we have Gibson to come back

With 2 tough games vast approaching, bobby martinez has proven himself as a top class manager, he is positive and makes the right changes at the right times and is just all round a brilliant man, due to his positivity I see no reason we cannot go to the emirates and old trafford and win I mean why not, we will attack attack and attack and if it doesn't work he will change it with one substitution that will change the game, we will not go to either match looking for a draw we will go all out and even if we get beat we would have had a bloody good go at them, I am made up with our club at the minute and the football we play and the team, I love the martinez era and long may it continue

Totally agree Ox, Whelan told us all how good he is and the tube was spot on for once, I was worried when Moyes left but what a turn around in our play, I know we will struggle at times but Bobby is a breath of fresh air, scared of no team, got all the players confident and playing for their manager and great football. We will have downers but the ups will bring us round afterwards, I would not spot Bobby for anyone. As for players movements in Jan or the summer, I am sure he has everything covered, I can see more Barca/Spanish loan signings in the future which I look forward too. I hope we do them on Wednesday, could stick it up Moyes and go above the Reds, what a 5 days this could be

Degsybluenose

Absolutely cracking post mate. 7 goals in the last two matches will give our goal scorers confidence and our defence has been solid for a long time. Two brilliant fixtures coming up. Two very tough challenges but Roberto will see these games as massive oppurtunities and not massive obstacles.
