Looks a decent line up but id imagine it'll be more like pienaar on left instead of oviedo, hitzlspeger central with ossie and felli pushing on behind jela. just my opinion

not to sure what to make of the craig gordon rumours or craig gordon himself.from what i seen of him at sunderland he makes howard look like big nev.but who knows, keepers are supposed to get better as they get older.i know hes had injuries if he was any good at all surely he wouldnt of been without a club since the summer injured or not.one thing i do believe is we certainly need a quality keeper.where we gonna find one is the problem. jimmy

assuming mirallas, coleman and gibson are still out my team for tomorrow would be:
howard
hibbert jags distin baines
naismith hitz osman oviedo
fellaini
jelavic

subs: mucha heitinga duffy barkley pienaar gueye vellios

i would bring hibbert in because we're conceding to many and would also leave pienaar out because of his form for oviedo

what are your thoughts on the team?

Believable5 Unbelievable2

I'd pick the same side but with Pienaar in place of Naismith, see if he can raise his game against better opposition, if not then bring Naismith on in place of him.

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought of that myself but naismith has hit abit of form with 2 goals in 2 games

Agree0 Disagree0

Never drop Pienaar! Even though he's in bad form he's still important to the team.

been reading in local press here in norfolk fans state that goodison park ground is the worst one in premier, what do everton fans think {Ed025's Note - i think your a turkey..

Believable6 Unbelievable2

Not the worst, one of the worst though.
I'd say the worst 4 are Loftus Road, Craven Cottage, Carrow Road and then Goodison.

Best 4, Emirates, Etihad, Old Trafford, Stadium of Light

Mike

Agree0 Disagree0

You gotta admit Goodison is worst ground in the premier league at least for facilities. {Ed025's Note - would you say...that the mona lisa, is an old cracked painting..no..because its a classic, steeped in tradition..

Agree0 Disagree0

That was one class reply that ed ,nice one.jimmy

Agree0 Disagree0

To be fair ed025,even i can see the potential in goodished, and thats coming from a red....
it really would make a cracking car park for the new bigger and better anfield!! now theres a stadium thats really steeped in tradition and success.....
rodger the dodger {Ed025's Note - wind your neck in todger....potential for your club mate...is top half..and you know it..

Agree0 Disagree0

You're right todger, anfield has a lot of tradition going back to when it was owned by EVERTON. not much has happened there in the last 30 years or so, hey? except for a cracking 3-1 loss against swansea where some excellent long ball football was displayed.

Agree0 Disagree0

Funny that unsigned poster....whatever the bitter half of the city want to call the reds,a long ball team they are certainly not!!

whoever said that about goodison wants shooting i love the place best atmosphere in the premiership and the evetonians are the best coyb

Agree0 Disagree0

Hmmm i see the poster above has left his/her post unsigned??
it will save you the embaressment of having to stand by that uneducated statement, of not much happening at anfield in the last 30 years.....do you REALLY need me to list the silverware accumulated in that time my very bitter friend??
i didnt think so sweet cheeks x
rodger the dodger {Ed025's Note - you have never won the premiership though todger...and are never likely to..

Any info on mirallas and Gibson ed? If they are both fit my team for tomorrow would be
Howard
Coleman jags distin baines
Mirallas Gibson Osman pienaar
Felli
Jelly

Get pienaar back on the wing where he is most dangerous!
If Gibson isn't ready yet then keep hitz in the middle with Osman!
We will need mirallas's pace and skill to worry arsenals defence and with him pienaar baines and Coleman firing crosses in for felly and jelly I fancy a win! {Ed025's Note - as far as i know mate they are avliable for selection, but apparently moyes has said there will not be many changes from saturday..

Mark Lawrenson predicts a 2-1 win for us tomorrow night! Im sterting to like the guy!

Just what we need after recent dissapointments I think

Believable0 Unbelievable1

I will be confident if Mirallas and Gibson play, with those two and Fellaini back, we are a vastly different and impressive side and given the way Arsenal have played this season, they are there for the taking.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why? do you get points of Mark Lawrenson thinks something?

I know that in the end, everyone has their price, but the notion that unt will buy baines for 15m, is quite bizzar. He is 27, in a long term contract, in his prime, and is quite simply the best left back in europe. Surley anyone comeing in with a real offer, must know it would cost double that unt offer, just to start a conversation on the subject.

It's started again - the Baines to Man Utd garbage. I have to put up with all this cr*p from friends who support Utd every time the press start printing this stuff. Even though they're good mates, (despite being glory hunters), they all seem to have that condescending, patronising attitude that all Utd fans seem to have.
When they spout things like, "We're coming to help you out again, We'll give you £8m for Baines.", as though they're doing us a favour, it really gets up my nose. Anyway, I've found a reply that really p*sses them off. In the form of a reasoned argument I ask them, "Why do you think that Bainsey's only worth £8m, because if he just played one game for you & one of the bigger clubs like Madrid, Barca or Juventus came in for him, you'd want £18m!" Then I watch their faces as someone has DARED to say there are bigger clubs than Utd. You can practically see their blood pressure reaching dangerous levels.
Give it a try if you can, it's hilarious!

I was very excited about Naismith arriving in the summer - having heard that Jelvic and Weir loved him etc - but on Saturday it was weird - we had that ridiculous incident when it was two attackers vs one defender when he lost his head and just smashed it towards the far corner flag whilst jelavic was waiting in the middle - just bizarre - like he couldn't handle the pressure of being in a good position - that's not a good sign - and there was another moment when we were attacking down the right (3 vs 3) - and he passed it to nearby Ossie (?) and then just stood still next to the touchline and stopped - whilst we were trying to build an attack - like he was injured - he just stopped running and gave up - I was thinking "WTF is he doing? - he must be injured" but he wasn't - he just stopped - very odd - is there something wrong with him?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

There is nothing wrong with him. He is just completely useless. Not good enough.

Mike

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think he's shown what he's really capable of yet, but I haven't been particularly impressed by him either. He's had 2 very serious injuries and by all accounts is finding his way back to his best, and you can see he visibly tires after 60-70 mins. But whether his best is gonna be good enough to merit a place in the starting XI week in week out is yet to be seen. I saw him play a few games for Rangers and he looked pretty good but then anyone can look good in the league, even Franny Jeffers, well...almost

Agree0 Disagree0

Are we talking about the player who as scored in is last 3 games if he hadnt we would have lost 3 times reality give im a chance

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Nov 2012 14:28:35
Lets slate our players as usual eh, get a life

As the poster above stated he has scored a few recently, also had some career threatening injuries, can you not give the guy at least a couple of seasons before you start slamming him, you must have gotten fed up with hammering Seamus so moving on to Naisy, sad

Degsy

Agree0 Disagree0

Give the lad a break, he has come back from nearly a year out and playing in a tough league. He has scored a few goals now and looks like he is getting some confidence back...okay he well over hit a square ball to Jelavic but I think his game will improve with time...It's not going to happen if people jump on his back whenever things don't go right.

Agree0 Disagree0

Can you repliers give it a break - yes we can understand it if players look knackered or are stuggling with a lost yard - but both those incidents had nothing to do with that - they were just weird things to do - whether you're fit or not - fitness or injuries dont explain either of those two incidents - they were just odd - I actually quite like him as a player and would play him most weeks - but those couple of things made me think he does odd things - (a bit like Howard)

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh and by the way - its a discussion website - you can talk about all kinds of things everton and its players - unless you just want to say "I love everton they're great" in every post

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Nov 2012 17:56:56
Slating players consistently is not a discussion

Degsy {Ed025's Note - your right degsy...dont become like the dark side, support your players..

Agree0 Disagree0

I havent slated players consistently - I slate coleman consistently because he's terrible and costing us points - but still recognise we're down to the bare bones cos of injuries so we do need 'someone' to stand there I suppose - I'm not slating Naismith I think he's ok - just does the odd strange thing

I take it 'Degsy' is an 'insider' mate of Ed25s then? Given that his replies appear straight away before the next refresh? And we know ed25 has his favourites and non-favourites don't we! {Ed025's Note - your all my favourites mate...i answer most posts, as soon as i see them, sometimes work dictates the time i have to edit...but i would see somone about that paranoia if i were you..

Anyone can post anonymously mate spouting crap, at least when I do spout crap I have the balls to leave my name.

Degsy {Ed007's Note - Can I just add that it is not Ed025 that edits all the posts, we all help each other out. If the poster who is moaning put as much thought into his posts as he does about bitching they might interest people enough to be posted. As Degsy says as well, he leaves a name, if a post isn't signed there is a chance it will just get deleted. You have used 'I' so many times yet nobody knows (or cares) who 'I' is, if you want to be taken seriously then take your tampon out, grow a pair and at least have the civility to tag your posts, otherwise you just look like a sad, pathetic little troll. Sorry to hijack your post here Degsy but he has been bitching all day at other posters.}

Evertons problems in the last 2 games have been the same as when we were strugling last year even with players missing (not scoring when we are dominating games). I dont think the service to jelavic has been the same quality as when he scored 11 goals last season but if you look at any top 4 challengers they all have 4 strikers to pick from. If a striker looses form they change them and there is always competition. The team has been playing well with plenty of possession but not getting the goals to kill games off. Cover for midfield and defence are needed in january but a significant amount is needed for reconised striker if we are to have any chance of europian football next year
