I only saw Gary Speed getting interviewed on BBC yesterday, he was talking about the world cup qualifiers and Wales's chances. He sounded really positive. Rest in Peace a great footballer, gentleman and Evertonian. (Wavertree Blue)

Two Words Achielle Emanna why has no one signed him (have a look on your tube)

Believable1 Unbelievable0

I havent seen him for a while but used to think he could be good.. but why do people say to check youtube for a player? its a compilation of his best moments of corse its gonna make him look good.. youtube scott gemmil and im sure he would look good (come to think of it maybe not) {Ed007's Note - You are definitely pushing it a bit there mate :-) My mate is a fully made up member of the Tartan Army, even now he says he is one of the worst players ever to play for Scotland, and that's saying something.}

Just heard the sad, awful, shocking news about the death of Gary Speed. What on earth has happened there? I know his departure from Goodison was a bit acrimonious but he was a terrific player for us & a true Everton fan from being a kid. What a terrible loss. My, (& I'm sure every other Evertonian's) condolences to his family.
R.I.P. Speedo.

Fellaini inked not just any deal, but an improved 5 year deal. Now, surely he would've had to have been given some reassurance from Moyes and Kenwright that the club is moving forward. Maybe a long shot, seeing how players don't really care about their contracts anymore, but maybe just maybe the club will be moving forward. I hope a buyer is in the midst.

Much to be pleased about - 3 points (obviously), Baines looking like the player he was last season, Jags much better - passing the ball out of defence, Billy looking more like a premiership player, Fellaini seemingly involved in everything, Cahill - although still not at his best, signs that he is getting there, and Vellios growing in stature the more he plays (although not quite ready to start on a regular basis). Oh and a great away support - good day to be a Blue!

Agree with everything except about Tolos, I think he should start with Saha on the bench as an impact sub. As long as we win though, I couldn't care less who plays!

Good game for billy against bolton, however I think its obvious that his strengths lie in international and European football and he isn't cut out for the prem. Would be glad to get a good fee for him in January and get someone else in.

not a rumour , but personally speaking , i would like us to bid for some british based players , obviously money dependent but just a few suggestions : CRESSWELL ( Ipswich , having a belting season , unlike his team mates, ideal back up for Leighton )
BUTTERFIELD ( Barnsley , Looks qualitity & several premier clubs watching )
PILKINGTON ( Norwich , a winger who is very capable of cutting inside & never afraid to shoot )
RHODES ( Huddersfield , going to the top , just hope its with EVERTON )
ROCHINA ( Blackburn , not seen too much of him , but scoring regularly in a poor side , scores a few late goals which is always useful )

Believable2 Unbelievable1

I agree with Pilkington, we need a winger and he's very good. He score's a good few goals too which is a bonus.
The only reason i'm not agreeing with the other 4 is because I haven't see them play and not sure who they are. I think i've heard of Rhodes before but not the other 3. Also, is Pilkington Irish? {Ed007's Note - Although he was born in Blackburn, he qualifies for Eire through his maternal grandmother. He has one cap at under-21 level. He could still be called up by England though and he seems undecided whether he would welcome a call up to the full Eire squad.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I quite like Rochina, looks like a pretty good player. I also wouldn't mind snatching Sanchez-Watt for some squad depth but I'm not sure how likely that would be. Agree with Pilkington too.
