A hard fought win yesterday but now it's time for Carlo to show us what he can do.
An away game (our arch nemesis) and against Newcastle aswell. This will be a really tough one, especially as they had a spanking by united.

A win or draw keeps us on the good run but with City up next I am hoping its 3 points.

To be honest Smit, this isn't a quick fix. After season after season of mistakes, at last we have someone with a CV to be proud of so, I am the one advocating patience this time.

That's good to hear Bill. Let's hope everyone gives him time.
He is what we have needed for a long time.

I really think we have been mighty lucky to get C A.

There are still a few key signings needed to make us top six. So I’m eager to see how our team looks come the start of next season. But it’s great to have someone at the helm who oozes with class and confidence.

So in the meantime it’s time to enjoy watching how the rest of this season plays out. And hopefully see all the nay sayers in the media swiftly dodge any questions about this mans appointment as our new Manager.

Alright toffee ace, just out of interest Who do you think our key signings should be to make us top 6 contenders?

I think we do need a couple of additions to the squad but, more important than anything else, is an attitude change from the team.
The great sides go out with the intention of winning every game, week in week out. We simply haven't had this mentality for seasons now. Its been a top 6 too good mentality or fragility away from home excuse.

This has to stop and hopefully we have a serial winner in CA who will insist on a killer instinct from the team whoever we are playing. Liverpool (I hate having to admit this) have it. Man City have it - we bloody need it, Starting at Newcastle today

I think we need a whole new spine. I'd go and get (if possible) Smalling, Docoure and Lacazette.

I wouldn't be sure about those choices Smit. Smalling has been average for years and isn't good enough for United, I don't think he would be a good signing just on the basis that he's having a decent season in Italy. Lacazette I like but we haven't had great success paying over the odds for players arsenal don't want/ can't get in their team. Doucoure good player but think we would have to pay a huge amount for him and isn't Gbamin a similar sort of player?

Agree toffeedavey, smaliing a big no from me definitely not an upgrade on Mina or Holgate. Doucore good player but think we should see what Gbamin has to offer before we spend in this area.

Smalling is better than Keane so for me I'd have him as an upgrade.
I don't want to see keane play again.
Gbamin is an unknown at this moment and he may never be as good after the injury. Docoure gets goals and is a leader, I don't see why we can't have both in our squad.
Lacazette played in the right position will get 15-20 a season.
