Why would a kopite post that? It's lik me going on their site and posting "Liverpool are going to sign Xabi Alonso on loan". Actually might do that anyone just to wind them up lol...but seriously I wouldn't do that

All this nonsense about thanking Mancini for some stupid play to win comments annoys me! This idea that Moyes is a negative manager is utter rubbish...
Of course Mancini can say that his club have spent about 400 million over the last few yrs! Moyes has spent hardly anything and has still kept us competitive!
When DM has had a decent squad Everton have played some good football over the yrs and when the squad has not been great he has played more conservatively.. What's wrong with that? We have been consistently top 8 regardless.. I call that good management if u dont have quality attacking players, u cant really play good attacking football so u focus on getting results in any way possible in order to maintain league position and status! The alternative is to do something like Blackpool a cpl of yrs ago, play attacking football (great to watch) but end up in the Championship!
We are Everton, unfortunately we are not rich hence we need to play to our strengths, if it is not great to watch sometimes so be it but its where we finish come end of season that counts and until we find investment thats the way it will be! So plz stop all this nonsense about Moyes having a change of heart and playing to win all of a sudden, we always play to win but depending on the current squad we approach the problem in different ways! At the moment we have good attacking players so we are playing good football. But unlike Mancini we dont have 150 million sitting on the bench when we want to change things round... Mancini is (imo) a lucky person who can spend his way out of any prob, if he was manager of Wigan or Villa or Norwich would he play to win? Or would he do what was necessary to get a result?

Charlie Adam even money with to sign for us, hope not as he can't get in the there side, no chance of getting in are's

Believable2 Unbelievable7

I always have a problem with players that look like ale house players! overweight and lacks disapline!.hope not!

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't know why he is not in there side great passer but we all know what Liverpool do to players ruin them suarez is there only threat if he gets injuries there in trouble as only got 2 goal a season Andy Carroll to rely on and I'm affraid if they want 20m for him he will stay at your club forever need to find yourselves some mugs to buy him bit like Newcastle did when you offered 35 million mike ashley still can't stop laughing

Agree0 Disagree0

I hate it when people say "he's not good enough for them, so he's not good enough for us." the people who say that are not proper football people. Gibson was not good enough for Man Utd. We signed himfor £250,000. When was the last time you saw a premiership player sold for that amount between two premiership clubs? Howard wasn't good enough for Man Utd. Pienaar wasn't good enough for spurs. Sheedy wasn't good enough for the r/s(get well soon! My second favourite player after big Dunc), how many r/s players, fowler, Owen, rush, mcmanaman, ect weren't good enough for us etc etc etc. If DM thinks he's good enough, that's fine by me. What I like about some of our posts is we are realistic. We say we would like to get a 4th spot. If our neighbours won their 1st two games they would be certs for the league. On our day we will beat any side in this league but without strength in depth we will struggle.

Hey Eds and fellow blues sorry I don't get to post much recently, I wish I had the time but I'm sure you will all agree (especially Ed's) work is priority. I don't know if there's anything in it and I really hope not but as part of the promo I'm working on we are having a photo shoot on the 6th of next month which was supposed to include three players sponsored by Nike the players were Jelly, Mirallas and Johnny but for some reason today Johnny was replaced by Hibbo. Like I said I don't know if there's anything to it but as promised just passing on what I know.

Another fantastic performance yesterday. Team keeps playing like this, anything can happen. Was at game yesterday, thought our fans were epic. Don't get to many games but when I do the people always leave a mark. Shout out to Peter, 89 years old yesterday, had the pleasure of sitting next to him. Legend.

Notice that Wolves are willing to offload Hunt for a 'nominal fee'. Probably not good enough but he's been on Moyes' radar previously and he might see him as devent back-up.
Eggs

I had the same thought Eggs, but that was a while ago, i feel our team has progressed since. Plus with him being 29 and not fantastic, I'd doubt he'd go for him personally

Degsycool

Believable3 Unbelievable1

I am quite excited, we have sold Rodwell, we have 6mil left to play with and the 3 loan spots, and we have the best manager in the league transfer wise at the helm, I really want to see what he does because the business so far has been brilliant.

This week is so crucial for our season, get the ins right, I would fancy us for 4th place.

What a start to the season it seems we have a new found hunger I know it's only 2 games but on this evidence I don't think they fear anyone and it's as if we really beleive we can win every game maybe mr Mancini has given us the shot in the arm we needed with his play to win an all that! It a long season and there will be defeats but I can only see good things happening with this team so bring on the silverware and European football.IMWT COYB Stefc

He played well against United too! If he gets back to his best our compition for places will be very, very healthy!

Believable0 Unbelievable1

The second season of the Premier League (92/93) we won our first two against Southampton 2-0 and Man city 1-0.

We actually won the first 3 that season, then lost the next 3 then won the next 3! INCONSISTENT! haha

And also we won our first 2 games in the 2006/2007 season. We won Wigan 2-1 and then beat Spurs away 3-1.

What a start from Everton as a team. Everyone playing for eachother with such a positive and attacking mentality. All of the plaudits have gone to Fellaini and Pienaar in the last 2 games (and rightly so). But I must say, Gibson has been a revelation and for me, one of best players so far. I hope his work rate and consistency continues.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Gibbo is the bargin of last season. Bet United wish they had kept him now, he's really become a True Blue!

I'm not bothered about anyone else now, save the cash till January or let the bank have it

Thought I would have a glance at the Villas pages to see what they were saying about us and found this little snippet.

Now we know the extent of the problem. No heart, no guts, no passion, useless. If Lambert doesn't pull his finger out this week we will be cannon fodder for any club. Wait till we play a real football team,

A REAL FOOTBALL TEAM WTF

Most of them were humble in defeat but this guy was a proper whopper

Degsycool {Ed025's Note - a lot of them did say we outplayed them degsy, and were full of praise..but you always get one mate..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I never go on other teams sites, but I too have started going on after we have played them to get their perspective, as unfortunately I have Blue tunnel vision. Even if say gibbo ran up and Nutted the opposition, I'd still be sayiong fair challenge.

It's nice to see the other side sometimes.

Ill be honest and say that I wrote Coleman off. He has started well an has previously shown how good he can be. As much as I love osman he is not a winger. I think right wing is our weakest position. But some people need to remember how good Coleman was. On a side note its been a while since I've been so excited about a season. If we sign niang I think it will show huge ambition. To sign a player before city, arsenal, ac Milan an other big teams is huge. I'm a 90's child and missed many of the legends but I have never seen such excitement over a season. Genuinely believe something special is happening here.

this could be our year! Would be topped of with young M'Baye!

I just want to take this time to say how impressed I was with Coleman today. He gets so much bad press when he does stuff wrong, so I was made up for him when he came on and caused loads of problems for the Villa defence today, long may it continue to the glory days Seamus!

Believable4 Unbelievable1

I believe father dougal is a confidence player myself. If he has a good game and is told so then he stays good, however if he has a bad game and the crowd gets on his back it takes hinta while to get over it.

We have such a good side this season, just really hope we add 2 more players to bulk the squad up. I remember we had a quality side about 4-5 years ago. Jags, Lescott, Baines, Arteta, Pienaar, Carsley, Fernandes, Cahill in his prime, Yakubu and Johnson scoring lots of goals.......... But then 3 or 4 injury's and were goosed!
Hope we don't make the same mistake! Get the squad bigger and we could have ourselves our best team since the late 80's.
