Chelsea are looking to loan out lucas piazon and chalobah to premiere league clubs, we should get them both!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

How does loaning any player that you can never buy help to build a team? only small clubs do this cause they are using these players just to survive they are not building a team to challenge for anything
We finished just outside European qualification last year & after improving the squad with our early signings should now only be looking at players that will improve the first team and help move us up the league

what you are saying makes no sense. if messi became available for loan this year, would you not snap him up as he would make an instant impact to us. Think about it, I know 1 player doesn't make a team, but messi is not far off it. He could single handedly propel us into a top 4 club and thus bring champions league football where the big bucks are so we can purchase 5/6 players after he was to go back after the loan agreement. That surley is not the mantality of small club loaning a player that could ultimately bring more glory and with it the cash rewards Everton so desperately need! Champions league qualification is like getting a new investor, that's why we shopuld look at top quality loanees that would improve the squad, even if we can not sign them permanantly at the end of the agreement! CraigHuytonBlue.

Agree0 Disagree0

Your logic makes no sense. Chalobah and Piazon are not Messi.

Agree0 Disagree0

Er, you wouldn't see Messi or any other clubs best player/s being loaned out now would you? If i'm wrong then who has in the past please?

the first sentence of your reply I think went: "How does loaning any player that you can never buy help to build a team?" I thought I was answering that question, not whether cholobah or pizan would be as good a quality as messi! CraigHuytonBlue

this kid from Barca is surley going to start regularly and make an imact to our team? Also quite sure we can not sign him! CraigHuytonBlue

Agree0 Disagree0

Am sorry CraigHuytonBlue if you are struggling with what I have said but I will try again
How many top 2, 3 or 4 teams depending on what league they are in loan players in they have no chance of buying? Don't know? None.
We should be buying players to improve our first team not borrowing players that even if they help move us forward one year the fact they go back puts you back to where you where the next.
Understand?

S1878

Agree0 Disagree0

He's not saying teams loan their best players out he's just saying if good players become available for loan and would help us achieve champions league football for next season then wouldn't that be worth it

Agree0 Disagree0

S1878. I really can't see your problem with loan signings. So what if the top four don't take loan signings. We are not top four, or rich. If these loan players, most of which have something to prove to their parent clubs, can help us break into the CL spots, then surely it's win win for us and them? And a team in Europe can then start attracting a better standard of player? Understand? P. S didn't we loan Big Dunc and Arteta? Blue Lee

Very impressed with BK today talking after Dave Hickson's funeral. We do need money, we do need direction from the top, agreed, agreed, agreed!
But he is an Evertonian who knows his history!
(If only we could get a very rich Russian, Chinese person to give him the money!)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Not good enough

Agree0 Disagree0

I think your on the wrong page this is the Everton one not the Hull City one.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not a bad player, no-where near good enough for us

Agree0 Disagree0

He's not even good enough for a QPR team that was relegated

Agree0 Disagree0

He's the type we'd have gone for had Moyes stayed.

i think martinez shoud cash in on gueye try an get 4-5 million out of him and invest into a young striker to backup kone and jelavic if he stays

Believable0 Unbelievable0

4 to 5mil, get real, we would be doing well to get 1 mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

Doubt anyone would pay that much for Gueye mate. Around £1. 5M at best, and that's hoping for a madman like Decanio to come in for him with a bad case of rabies influencing his decision. Guaye has not developed that much since we got him and despite the occasional flashes of potential, he hasn't really shown any flair for the PL. His loan to Brest last season saw him play only 7 games for them and they were relegated after losing 20 games, drawing 5 and winning just 8. If he couldn't get picked as a first team member for a team as woeful as this, then something must be wrong. But Martinez got McManaman playing well again, so we may as well hope for the best for Guaye as we're stuck with him until 2015.

Agree0 Disagree0

You serious lad? 4-5m for Gueye?! We'd be lucky to get a fiver for the lad

Agree0 Disagree0

4-5 million for Gueye what have you been smoking?

Agree0 Disagree0

4-5 m. possible only in FM. because Gueye is very good winger in that game.

Now he has bigger transfer budget maybe he feels he can talk about targets without the fear of being out bid

I know this is probably none of our business anymore and we should just be thinking about our club, but I had to say it after listening to Moyes talking about Fabregas and continually answering questions about him when asked by the media. Does anyone else find it strange that he has started to talk about players that they are putting offers in for? During his 11 years with us he never spoke to media about the possible transfers he was doing, but now that he's at the mancs he starts blabbering in every press conference. It's making me think that maybe its an Everton respect code not to discuss other teams players and not a Moyes respect code as he seems to have found a voice. I just thought that was quite interesting.

Rob

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Probably a policy at United to be fully open about their business as it looks good to the shareholders. They are a global money making machine now. One of the benefits of Everton being run by Jolly Bill Kenwright is we don't have to worry quite so much about the stock falling with every decision the manager makes, or says on the telly. I think Moyes is going to find this aspect of his new job the hardest, as he's never had to worry about justifying himself so much. He's gone from big fish in a small pond to little fish in a massive, labyrinthine aquarium centre megastore.

Agree0 Disagree0

I was thinking the exact same Rob.

Deulofeu to feature against blackburn, can't wait to see him! Hope a few more sigings are made before the transfer window ends! Coyb!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Add a cm and I'd be ecstatic add a cm and a winger/wide forward and I might explode COYB!

A lot of positivity on here about the new regime. Which is good. But the proof is not just about passing team's off the park. It's about winning. Let's hope we can turn the draws into wins and not gung Ho defeats

Believable0 Unbelievable0

25 Jul 2013 13:49:23
Positive about everything so far with the exception of the new keeper Robles, just doesn't look good enough to me. Howard is by no means the greatest keeper ever but he's not the worst around the PL now.
The hints are RM favours Robles, I like a keeper who gets annoyed at being beaten just in a warm up, the way big nev did. This keeper doesn't look bothered when he let's one in.

Agree0 Disagree0

You joking aren't you? Didn't you see him after that Accringinton goal last week he was going off his nut so to say he never looks bothered about letting goals in is just stupid. And don't forget he still young only just arrived at the club so you can't really expect him to be bossing his older and more experienced team mates around. Mike-ds

Agree0 Disagree0

Watch the cup final against City. He's bothered, very good young keeper. Will be our No1.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm just hoping for the end of sitting back and defending a one nil lead. And maybe we can finally stop showing such respect on the pitch to the likes of Arsenal and get in their faces a bit more. We have a top defence and some outstanding attacking players. Let the reign of terror begin! I should calm down a bit. I'm getting all snarly all of a sudden.

Deflou is flying over today to join squad. can't wait to see him in aftion.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Once he starts smashing them in, I bet we'll all finally learn his name pretty quickly! Or we at least need to agree on a nickname.

I was hoping 'Duffle coat' might catch on. Just me then? I'll get me coat.

Deulofeu: do-low-fay-oo. Easy.

anyone know what colours the away and third kit are.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

25 Jul 2013 11:49:17
I know we may have never been interested in him in the first place and if we were, he was probably a Moyes target, but, Cardiff have had a bid accepted for Capoue. I haven't seen too much of him, but have read countless articles and profiles/ reports on him and he sounds very good. He would be a fantastic replacement for Fellaini - Doesn't quite have the offensive qualities, but is far better defensively and when you consider that that seems to be how Robbie wants to play Felli; makes sense. Chances are, he is going to be quite cheap as well, considering Cardiff can afford him. Anything less that £10m and I would be happy if we got him.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

With 17m left buy marti for12m sell heitinga and jelly that's 10m there plus the other 5m tats 15m to pend with that I get moses for 8m. Still with 7m left

Agree0 Disagree0

Who said we have £17m left? You're just speculating and taking as gospel 'rumours' and conjecture on this site. No one knows for sure how much we have to spend apart from a select few in top positions at the club.

Agree0 Disagree0

Matri isn't worth £12m and we could get someone better than Moses for if we combined the £8m and remaining money.

Agree0 Disagree0

Or we could just not buy anyone else, and keep what we have. I would be happy with that myself.

Agree0 Disagree0

17 million left, but wanted Moses on loan?

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2013 10:24:50
Martinez has said no firm interest in fellani or baines which is good news also said we are in a great financial position so does that mean we have money to buy a top player have not heard that said about our club for long time

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I 've heard we have 17m. not include spent for Kone, Alcaraz, Robbles and Delefeu (sorry spelling). This is true Ed? {Ed025's Note - not sure on exact figures sitea, but we do have money to spend mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

10m for a cm
7m for a winger
Flog jelly and heitinga 10m for a striker

Agree0 Disagree0

You have have not seen much of him you say but you willing to pay less than 10 million for him?you not for real are you?

Arsenal fan.

Been going on a few different teams recently just to see how fans think they will do over the coming season, what do you guys think will happen at Goodson?

I've got a mate who's a toffee and he won't shut up about deloufeu so in expecting big things from him.

And I think you've got yourself a top top manager now. Moyes doesn't look good at united.

Good Luck for the season. Don't come 4th please. That's our spot ;)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Think well be pushing fourth harder than usual and with a bit more style to

Agree0 Disagree0

Greeting Akie.

My own opinion is we can expect a good season all round, decent new manager, good style of play and an injection of new blood into the team so an optimistic outlook.

Don't you worry about 4th place, we are looking for a top 3 finish this year ;)

Agree0 Disagree0

Akie do you lift {Ed025's Note - only when hes in a purple patch.. :)

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope evertonian can see powerful RM. attack with tough defence DM. left here. So UCL. zone expected.

Agree0 Disagree0

I expect us to have the same kind of season as Liverpool did last season meaning starting really slow while getting used to the new system then get stronger as the season goes on finishing between 7th to 10th then the season after is when the real improvident will come.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with the poster who says we will have a similar season to the s****. I think we'll blow teams off the park at times and not click at all others. It's going to be a transitional period for us IMO but one that will be a good thing as we move on to bigger and better times under the new regime. I was gutted when Moyes went but the longer we go on I can't help finding myself made up we have made the leap of faith with a new manager COYFBB

First time poster so don't all shoot me down, this isn't a rumour just seen it on tv. Official everton tweet 'Roberto Martinez says there have been no firm interest in Fellaini or Baines. ' Now what I don't get is why come out and tweet that when all is quiet, unless your trying to make someone make a bid for these two. i'm very concerned about this as it looks like robbie is trying to sell one of them. If not just keep quiet. What do you think ed? and everone else?

Jamie

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Or could it be a reporter asked if there has been any bids and Martinez said no I know it's a long shot

Agree0 Disagree0

A reporter asked him if there was any recent intrest in tgem

Agree0 Disagree0

I was surprised with jags comments last week saying. If and when a bid comes in for our players. It's as if they know something.

Agree0 Disagree0

What's Jags meant to say? They're going to be sold when they're not or they're staying when they will be sold? He doesn't know what Moyes or any other manager is planning so all he could say was if or when! Nothing sinister or alarming about that
