I don't know how serious Moyes was about signing Lonergan, but SSN saying he has signed for Leeds. The list of missed targets keeps growing. BK time to go, or at least release a club statement to let our fans know what is going on. We will be able to name a full starting 11 of missed targets by the time the season starts. {Ed025's Note - is it just me...or are things going from bad to worse..?

Personally I think Moyes was very interested BUT Jan Mucha has stepped his game up so i've heard, so MAYBE Moyes is thinking Mucha and Howard will be rotating in the first team, or at least Mucha will be our new first choice when Howard retires.

Would you be more annoyed if we don't sign anyone due to lack of funds, or if we risk it all, sign a few and end up like Leeds?

I think now is the time to cash in on Rodwell, £20 million+ and if jags goes for round about £16 million that will give us £40 mill incl vaughan and pinnear money (if its available). £10m on scott dann (scouser) £10m on nzogbia (wants to stay in the north west) £5 million on Lewis Holtby (evertonian) and that leaves £10-£15 Million on a quality striker........ if we end up with mcfaggot im sendin me season ticket back

yes you didn't read that wrong we are after James Mcfadden and i know a lot of you will be dissapointed and probably angry that while villa are stealing nzogbia we are going for frees but when it comes down to it we have no money, no one will sign yobo or yak and moyes wants to keep everyone including big vic and when you look at it mcfadden is a good squad player on a free and he loves the club.

i know many of you will disagree but with missing out onn nzogbia which i am devastated about maybe this could be billy's season then our only problem is a striker if we get mcfadden and are playing a 4-4-2 it would be becks and saha upfront with the yak, victor, mcfadden and vellios on the bench if we could just shift the yak and sign someone like rodallega/ pavlyuchenko we would have a really good looking strikeforce with becks/new signing upfront with saha, vic, mcfad and vellios in reserve so on that let the arguements begin. {Ed025's Note - there are times, when you can look on the bright side...this is not one of them!..

BUY: Holtby 7m and Djalo 7m. Sorted. {Ed025's Note - i cant see us getting anywhere near £25m for rodders, the fact is...other clubs dont rate him as highly as we do..

Good im glad other teams dont rate him too high, i want to keep him, i want to keep all of our better players, the lad will only get better and we all know it, ther are only 4 players we should even think about selling, yobo, yak, vic and billy, other than that i dont want anybody to leave and i think most evertonions would agree {Ed025's Note - i agree with that, but nobody wants them..i would like to keep rodders..but sometimes...needs must..

Even if we only get £15m, we can maybe get those two still {Ed025's Note - i think thats more realistic..and those two would be really good signings,.

If rodwell is worth 25 mill why dont you just sell jags for 50 mill and cahill for 60 mill, then imagine the xmas pantomime uncle bill would be able to put on for us...... cos believe me he wouldnt put it back into the team. You better make the most of having moyes this season cos he will be off if he has to rely on loans for one more season i always thought we had the most deluded fans but you blue noses are so far off the mark its pathetic i used to hate you..... now i just feel sorry for you

just reported N'zogbia has signed for Villa for just under 10 mil.

either we weren't in the hunt or he was never going to be a blue to the core and has gone for the money.

how many players have signed for other clubs for the money and then failed to impress, got injured, got relegated.

The reason is "it was never meant to be" fate took a hand and only the pure of heart who love football and our beloved club will wear the everton shirt with the pride is deserves. Why do i know this

this site is a rumour site so everybody needs to stop getting worked up and angry about Everton, we all understand we need money and we need Bill Kenwright out but the main thing is we support Everton through thick and thin {Ed025's Note - well said mate!..
