If the Americans come In and give us, the fans the choice of either re-develop Goodison or build a new stadium what you choose/ vote for?

Believable2 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - are there any stipulations on redeveloping Goodison? Only it is obvious that fans, on the whole, will want to stick with a ground they love rather than move to a new ground, unless it provides some sort of advantage.}

I agree, I just wanted to see what the thoughts were. I'm up for either so long as it benefits both club and supporters.

Personally as much as I love goodison I think we need to move as there just isn't the foot print for the car parks an no doubt commercial entities required in this day and age without knocking down half the surrounding estate.

right everyone don't shoot the messagener but I have been picking up little tit bits of info regarding takeover from different sites and there is a strong rumour that the takeover is happening but it won't be the yanks people are saying it is a tie bevarage company and they are worth 12billion and this is why we have not heard nothing at all yet its not just one person saying it,its quite a few. I am off now to see if I can find out anything else,let you know wot I find.

{Ed002's Note - Sorry Paul - someone is teasing you. I assume you are from Liverpool or the surrounding area?}

How come we didn't look at the land that development on Scotland road is taking place now?

I don't know why we are staying in the Walton area at all. Even the park is a stupid place to put a stadium. To be fair the area is in need of massive regeneration but is too congested for a stadium redevelopment.

A stadium closer to the city centre with commercial properties would take us to a completely different level. Towards Brunswick docks or the other way from the centre has plenty of opportunities.

One other area that has a better footprint is brundle road in Aintree. There has just been a massive area cleared there. About the size you would need for a stadium and for commercial properties that has great travel infrastructure already. Hmmmm.

See £9,921 was raised for our past FA cup opponents. Fantastic to see good decent media coverage of the Everton fans. Pat on the back. Puts us in a good light.

Helping out does no harm. Especially if you are a big believer in Karma!

. I see Jose has come out yesterday and confirmed he wants to manage a new club with a project at the start of next season and confirmed that he hasn't agreed to join the Mancs. assuming therefore the takeover happens, the fact we know he highly rates Stones and Barkley - surely him becoming Everton fc's new manager at the start of next season makes perfect sense with a pot of newly invested cash too?!?

Don't want him he is more trouble than he is worth, I'd stay well clear of him I hope he goes to the mancs I bet he won't last two seasons remember with Jose it's all about him and nobody else.

. I don't particularly like him either too. but if he won us the Premier League for the first time in 30 years or a trophy and Champions League football I don't think there would be too many Evertonians complaining. our current boss however is admittedly very likable but has achieved none of the above mentioned - so it comes down to what our ambitions are as a club. mediocrity or proven success?!?

Mourinho is nothing but a self opinionated rat, look at the way he is disgracefully talking about taking the united job. There is no united job, LVG is uniteds boss, until someone tells him different that is. That rat Mourinho shows no respect to anyone the way he acts its always me myself and I .

Jose has continuously shown that he is not the man for a project. He is good at coming into a team full of talented players and motivating them to achieve something. Although in the short term that is obviously a good thing, in the long run it is not enough.

Very concerned about our early April fixture away to Utd.
With Van Gal wanting his team to be 'hungry and horney'could I humbly request that RM rests some of our younger, prettier players as they may come back from Old Trafford totally traumatised if a few United players take their bosses instructions literally.

{Ed025's Note - its no use them training in our house then mushy.. :)

25 Feb 2016 12:05:55
Best hope none of our players take their grannies for a day out, Rooney would be all over them like a tramp on chips.
