Not just picking on barkley but he had another bad game this is the type of game he could have showed us how good some think he is and as for the rest of them simply not good enough for our team to finish in the top 6 same old same old everton and please no excuses this time like in mid week this was not a blip it is reality.

Sky Ross needs to be benched, but sadly we don't have anyone good enough to bring in. Needed two new midfielders in the window and didn't get them. So the lads got to push through this. He has a lot of weight on his shoulders, but he has to prove he's up to it.

I have to agree twoold2 I feel a bit sorry for him really but what do we do with the rest? replace all of them as well.

Anyone heard of fictitious disorder?

I know exactly what it means. So what was your take on the game NBTB.

Game was a disaster. No 2 ways about it. First defeat in 6. In the grand scheme of things I wouldn't be digging a big hole just yet. 6 games down 32 to go. I expect many ups and downs between now and May. I'm not going to get carried away by the first 10-15 games at least.

Chin up Skylark things are better than last season. Best start to the premiership in how long? People still giving out.

No but I've heard of facticious disorder. Think some of our players might have that.

25 Sep 2016 00:26:58
No need to single any player out, they were all as bad as each other today. Still, as NBTB says, best start to a season since for a long, long time and first defeat of the season. Not too bad so far but well too early to gauge how the season will pan out.

I'm a bit pissed off with the continuing criticism of Barkley and leaving some of the others alone. Delefou is biggest head of crap IMO yet he seems to escapee criticism from many fans. Mirallas hasn't produce anything for 3 years except that his work rate has improved this season. Everyone seemed against Cleverly yet he did well until his injury last season and he was without doubt the best Everton player yesterday. Al least the Under 18s thrashed the Reds 4-1 yesterday they have some good players in that team and gave Liverpool a football lesson.
Bring back McGeadey I say he isn't any worse that those on show yesterday. [just kidding]
Wellzee.

Just for one second Wellzee you had me going with the McGeady thing lol.

Anyway let's just keep our chins up and let RK and his management team get on with 'Operation EFC improvement' it's a work in progress and after the devastation left by the 'brown shoed mojo killer' we couldn't really hope for anyone better to do this job!

Agree1 Disagree0

25 Sep 2016 13:40:27
Wellzee personally I think Delefou has a lot of potential IF we get him in the right position. I think the reason fans have laid off him is because when he plays he shows a lot of passion and desire to win the ball something a few of our players seem to lack at the moment.

Deulofeu frustrates me far more than Ross. When he's on it he's often the best player on the pitch. But when he's not into it he's the biggest sulk going. I've seen him with his hands on his hips sometimes. I used to get told off by my coach if I did that during a game. this is when I was 8 years old. When he is bad he's very bad. I never usually say this, but sometimes I think he's that bad would we actually be worse off playing young Kieran Dowell? At least he would learn and get some more experience. Deulofeu has just started his third season of Premier League football and I would argue that he hasn't progressed much from the end of his first season. And this is coming from someone who still believes that he has the potential to play at the very highest level.

Bit OTT at the moment lads and lasses, you/ we were told by Mr Koeman that it would take two years, yes it has been (up until Norwich - an experiment to see what we had as backup (now RK knows) and then Bournmouth, no passion until second half) a good start and we will finish in the top 7. So a little over the top with the use of fictitious disorder - even as an attempt at humour. This season the Premiership is going to be the toughest for years, let's see where we are come January.

welze, I have commented numerous times and got shot down, Barkley only has to make a mistake and the crowd are on his back, lost count how many bad touches Lukaku makes but the crowd don't boo, oh yes he scores goals so that makes it alright to make mistakes and have a touch like a circus elephant with a beachball.

Barkley was awful Tuesday, but so too were other players including Del Boy. Looks like Barkley has taken over Osmans whipping boy.

No doubting Barkley is having a bad patch, but he is not alone.

RK has a tough job to make us a good team, it will take time. Unfortunatly to many of these players are not winners having had 3 years of Martinez, it will take time to sort them out and replace most of them, Barclay can go for starters.

What is the problem lads, this fella knows what he is doing and he did tell us it will take 2 years. He knows what he is up against but I have no doubt whatsoever that we will be consistent top 7 with RK.

Take 2 years? Koeman won't last that long don't rate him or that show pony Bolasie. Gunna be a long season with zero reward for the 22nd year.

We all know Koeman wanted and needed some signings last transfer window, yesterday simply proves the point . People need to stop playing at texting Jim White and signing some players, we had a few opportunities for sure, (as do our forwards) but opportunities must be taken not laughed about later . stop the talking and do the signing!

7th would be 4 places of improvement. If we do the same the following season that would be 3rd. I'd take finishing 3rd next season. I don't expect Koeman to wave a magic wond and make the all the BS that was done over the last 3 years disappear. It will take time. We need to be patient. Good times around the corner.

After the Barkley debate of the last few days I'm going to bang a tenner on Ross anytime Everton win 3-1. Surely after Tuesday he will have to pull his head out his arse and perform today.

All this posting and counter posting then countering the counterpost about Ross omg 😖

The Idrissa 'AFCON' issue and it could be a huge issue as he could potentially miss PL games with City, Palace, Stoke and Bournemouth as well as the FA Cup third round tie with god knows who? .

RK is said to be looking at alternitives and do you know what I bet he's pretty much got it sorted and hopefully a few less injury probs. bringing some players back 🙂.

Hopefully by the blue Jimmy Mac will be performing to the level expected by RK and will be Gueyes replacement until he returns. James can tackle and has the enervy levels to do the tracking he just needs the awareness of space around him to be adequate cover. Remember before this season his only top flight coach/ manager was Martinez. I believe he will come good and has a future at the club.

''I believe he ( Jimmy Mac) will come good and has a future at the club. ''

I've got my fingers crossed on that as well Gray, Mo and Gibbo could hopefully be available also and something tells me Idrissa doesn't need extra competition he been a real dynamo a pure power house so far!

I like jimmy. He's an honest pro and fights on that pitch. I've said before he has a bad manager in RM for far too long and we need to give him a chance under a proper manager to see if he can develop.

I'd be very happy for him in that midfield.

Anyone else just down right excited about what we are capable of in 12months to 2 years under Koeman. I lose my breath thinking about it!

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i think if macca can benefit from RK,s experience and gana,s example then jimmy can hopefully fill the void when idrissa goes to the ACON john..
