I'm thinking of getting a season ticket for next season

What do you guys reckon is the best stand for avoiding obstructed views

Last time I had one was in the lower bullens which wasn't to bad but I fancy something different

Any help would be much appreciated.

I hate these International breaks!
With the lack of much blue banter am starting a thread which will either take off or die an agonisingly slow death of silence!

Your top three moments as an Evertonian?
Mine
1.Graham Sharpe's wonder strike at Annfield (I was in the Kop and it was my birthday) !

2. Alan Ball's goal in the 1965 5th round FA Cup at Goodison against the reds. (My first 1st team game at Goodison) .

3. Kevin Sheedy smashes in the winner in Rotterdam.

Apologies to Derek Temple, Andy King and Gray.

1. Barry Horne's screamer against Wimbledon which we won 3 - 2 to stay up.

2. Big Dunc's header against Utd which we won 1 - 0. Loved slagging Utd supporters over that.

3. Rideout's header to win Fa cup in '95. Obvious

They are what springs to mind but if I thought about they probably would change.

trevor steven scoring the 3rd again lothor mathaus byern munich gr8est game at goodison ever played the crowd could be heard as far as netherton, bootle, Kirby , city center, that night must of been 60000 fans rammed in to the old lady we out classed the best team in Europe at the time what a night and who knows were it would of lead us in future years.

tony cottee 1st of his 2 goals of the night in the fa cup 4-4 game at goodison , was in street end that night what a game and again the old lady rocked that night, the reason for this one out the two was we was going out 3-2 to them lot cottee was brought on for mike newall and with his first touch with a great back pass from molby and great pouching goal from my hero at the time cottee what a great game and night singing on the tables in to the small hours in the carisbrook pub we went on to knock them out dave Watson goal at goodison

my 3rd is dimonds 3rd goal against Wimbledon again in the street end we was down at half time my heart broken in two the unthinkable was turning into reality all kinds of nightmere thoughts going through my mind the rumour was that day the kopites were ready for revenge from the 50s when they were relegated and everton fans marched past anfield with a coffin with the letters r.i.p Liverpool , and the kopites had the coffin ready for a march past goodison but only the the legend dimond it didn't happen and the rest as they say is history

sorry farrally, sharp, king, nevin, lukaku, horn, grey, latchford, Jackson, amokatchi, rideout, temple, van den howe, mounfield ect ect R.I.P CRUFF

Being relatively young still I missed the 80's glory days so.

1. Rideout's FA cup winning goal

2. Graeme Stuarts goal to save us from relegation.

anddd 3. Either Beckfords goal against Chelsea was pretty special, goslings (despite screwing us over) winner against Liverpool with the last kick of the game or Jag's winning penalty on the cup semi final against Man U.

Okay technically that's five but I don't care.

Flores from Watford what's your opinion on him ed 25 and others.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

{Ed025's Note - i like him bretto, hes done a great job at watford but i feel the everton job might be a step too far at this stage mate..

I wouldn't say it's a step too far for Flores, Ed. The guy has won the Europa League and Spanish Cup, and he took Valencia to the QF of the Champions League. Doing as well as he has with Watford shows he understands the Prem. He is a very good candidate for me, except he never stays anywhere for long, sometimes for reasons that are a bit odd. He has a bit of style, which I don't want us to lose, and a bit of steel, which we currently don't.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - you make a good case there coyb, i suppose i was hoping for a slightly bigger name but i would not be disappointed with flores mate..

To be fair, when he is fit, he is a good finisher. but there is no way a consistently injured player is worth even a fraction of that. Lukaku also has his limitations. hold up play and ability to read the flight of the ball from clearances are 2 examples, but yes he is a man mountain, scores lots of goals and is fitter 10 times more than Sturridge.
