All I want for Christmas is:-
Three points against Stoke.
More imaginative substitutions with a plan B or C on occasions.
A team with only one number 10 in it.
John Stones.
A well taken corner or two.
A realisation that other teams have worked us out and are set up accordingly and that forwards is the new sidewards.
Some activity in the January window in and out.
To wish fellow posters all the very best and to thank them for the entertainment, passion, debate and humour and whatever happens once a Blue.

Prob get slated for this but for all those fans on here talkin crap like sack martinez and the rest seriously have no clue about soccer so far we have done really well in europe and I believe will go far in the comp yes we not doing to well in league but till now we have a good few injuries to key players now with stones back nearly a full squad I think we will come good all it takes is two three wins and we will b right back up there our future is so bright right to call for his head soon is sad even booing our team when 3-0 up shameful stuff however bad this season turns out I think next season and one after under martinez the spuad we have and a few more good buys we will be great once again i'm sure of it look at the bigger picture for f. sake get behind the team and give it time and come the end of this season and next season ill b back on here tellin you all how I predicted the good times ahead when all you none believers were talkin crap:)

Totally agree with this post. I was fully behind the appointment of Martinez and still firmly believe that he is the right man for the job. We have arguably our best 3 players out at present, in Mirallas, McCarthy and Stones. I'm sure Roberto is fully aware that some players are not up to it and that we could do with a larger squad, but he is not going to say so publicaly, as this is not his or the Everton way. As for booing a win at home, I can only suggest that the guilty parties are the wrong side of Stanley Park. Onwards and upwards and a positive prosperous New Year to all true Evertonians ( especially all the ED's ).

Mmm not sure Martinez is the right man the jury is out.
When he walked through the door @ Goodison he promised to deliver champs league football & right now
Were a million miles away unless we win the Europa league can't see us
Qualifying through league position.
I question some of his signings the likes of Mcgeady, Alcaraz, Robles, Kone hardly world beaters that will move the club forward.
Martinez has told the press he ain't changing his style of play for nobody & there lies the problem, Teams have sussed the way we play & no plan b end of.
Let's see how we go over the festive period but if results don't improve quickly I think the crowd will be on his back & he will find himself under pressure.
All said & done it's a cut throat business & any present day manager is only 1/2 dozen defeats away from the sack.
I've said on here before the way play @ the mo reminds me of the Wigan team that were relegated under Martinez, all to predictable & so easy to play against.
I hope he's able to turn the season round but if he doesn't only got himself to blame for sticking rigidly to his style of playing.

i agree with jonsey he won't change style of play teams have us sussed, no plan b poor managment, playing 2 cam on wing poor tactics, and last season, this season is mirrr image of wigans first 2 seasons with rm. his tacttics leave me worried and lack of subs, not one in last for defeats I beleive well shocking really
