We've been linked with £4mil rated Basel CB Aleksander Dragovic, I think it is

I hope to god that Baines does not leave. But if he does a possible good signing would be schennikov. (not too sure on the spelling)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Oviedo could play at LB and we have Garbutt (and some other prospects) coming brought for this position.

Agree0 Disagree0

Schennikov looks a promising player. If we lost baines we could not rely on Oviedo as are no. 1 LB.

Agree0 Disagree0

If he's russian I want nothing to do with him

Agree0 Disagree0

Garbutt will be LB back up next season and oviedo will be used in midfield

Poor Suarez banished. Too bad we won't see him on a couple of weeks. Maybe he shouldn't have skipped his preface meal

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Sorry folks, should be pregame meal, not preface. Only Mike Tison eats ears.

Straight swap Fellaini for Lewandowski please please!

Blue Monk

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I'd give them felli, naismith, jelavic and gueye for him

Andros Townsend would be a perfect addition to the squad I think. My opinion like but watched him for a couple of weeks now and he looks like a great young talent. Wouldn't cost much either seen as he probably won't get into the Tottenham eleven.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

You talk more sense on here than most people and are more realistic. Good shout for Townsend too.

Agree0 Disagree0

Would be a good signing but only thing is Tottenham never let players go on the cheap as we all know from the Peinaar deal.

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks for the feedback guys :)

Would love to see a team like this next season:
Begovic
Coleman Jagielka Dragovic Baines
Gibson Strootman
Mirallas Honda Pienaar
Negredo

That would be the perfect team for Champions League contenders.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

That team would be absolutely fantastic - who would you sell?

Agree0 Disagree0

That would be a rather frightening team, however I was under the impression that Strootman and Begovic were looking like likely United signings. Honda would be an absolute steal if you got him, and would piss me off as we missed our chance to get him in the transfer window we're we got Andy and Suarez. Such a quality player.

KiwiRed

Agree0 Disagree0

We need a better player than Gibson in the starting 11, especially considering that he is injury prone.

Agree0 Disagree0

Gibson has provided skill and structure to the holding midfield whilst offering protection to the back four. IMO he's been an outstanding performer even when carrying an injury. {Ed025's Note - i agree fancy, when hes not playing we look a lot poorer side..

Agree0 Disagree0

Fellaini and Heitinga would get the chop for me

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree we are a much better side when Gibson is playing I think if we can get is injury sorted top buy considering how much we paid

Done.

Come on guys, some were saying this about Seamus and he is looking great now.

Lets give Naisy at least a full season before you hang the lad out to dry

Degsy

Agree0 Disagree0

The thing with Seamus though is he was young and showed potential and promise and had all the attributes to be a top rb apart from the defensive part. Now he's brushed up on those and is a good solid right back. Naismith hasn't shown anything promising and is in his prime.

Agree0 Disagree0

First year coming back from a massive injury, being played out of position and and adjusting to a much harder league. i'm not saying he will have a great season next year, but give him a chance at least. He was a free for goodness sake!

Agree0 Disagree0

I think Naismith will turn out to be a great signing. he's just settling in to life in the premiership. Get his fitness up over the summer and come back with a bang next season. He wears a blue shirt, let's get behind the lad!

It might be ambitious but I would certainly be extremely impressed if we could send out this team at goodison this year.

Goalkeeper: Howard has been questionable on a few occassions but he's still a fairly decent keeper, I've watched Willy Caballero a few times and with Malaga struggling for cash I think he'd be worth a punt

Defence: Key priority, keeping Leighton Baines, its an absolute must. Jags and Distin are superb, the defence is looking better, maybe an understudy at centre back if you're being picky

Midfield: With Fellaini appearing to be on his bike it would really give us a bit of cash to buy a replacement and a ball player. Fer should be the man to fill this, get him and Gibson in the middle and things might happen. Mirallas will be key but if we shipped his mate Mertens in then i'd be over the moon, i've watched him, he's probably better than Mirallas which says something. Then finally bring in Honda for a cheap price, build our national pedigree whilst bringing in a talented player

Strikers: We need a consistent strong goalscorer, despite Anichebe's turn of form he's still not good enough to be a match winner, and Jelavic doesn't look like getting going. 2 names stick in my head. Benteke and Lukaku, continuing the Belgian theme these two suit our style, big and strong but they can play, Negredo might not be suited to us, because we have a tendancy to play long ball at times

Possible line up:
GK - Courtois (loan)
RB - Coleman
CB - Distin
CB - Jagielka
LB - Baines
CDM - Gibson
CDM - Fer (5-8 mill)
CAM - Mirallas
CAM - Mertens (10-12 mill)
CF - Honda (5 mill)
ST - Benteke (15 mill)

Subs: Howard, Duffy, Oviedo, Jelavic, Barkley, Pienaar, Anichebe

With Fellaini going for around the 25 mill mark, Osman (who I would cash in on) rumoured to be attracting interest, Mucha, Naismith, Heitinga going out the door. That would be around 35 million there, plus any TV money, which could be substantial and the rumoured 10 million available last window, that would give us at least 50 mill available

So is the above really that unrealistic?
yeah of course it is, no doubt we'll lose Fellaini and Baines and bring in a loanee last minute, classic Everton

The joys of being a blue

I'd quite like to see us offer naismith to dundee utd and try and secure a deal for Johnny Russell. I've heard of Moyes interest in the past but never materialised. 1 yr left on his deal. Looks a talent to me.

selling felli has it's own pros & cons we get the b udget let's say 25-35m with a lot of teams interested to buy him P$G and Zenit will probably splash silly wages let's say 150 p per week (guess) we would have wages and the money but. fellaini is hard to replace PK BLUE

Ideal team next season:

Howard, Jagielka Distin, Baines

Capoue

Fer Osman

Mirallas Benteke Mertens

Out: Heitinga, Geuye, Jelavic, Fellaini

Other ins: De Vrij, Cornelius, Diakite (Honda would also be a very good signing at a good price. )

It seems a bit out of price range but not as much as it sems once the players have been sold, plus the 9 million that we were going to spend on Negredo.

I predicted it would be about 44 millionto spend if we sold those players and also had that 9 million available.

I think we nedd a bit of a shake up. I also think a 4-3-3 formation would be a good change of formation.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Gibson & barkley?

Agree0 Disagree0

Hmm, 3 Belgians up front? I'm in, where do I sign? :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

Only 10 players and agree with the other poster no Gibson or Barkley?

Agree0 Disagree0

There is only 10

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm sorry I meant to put coleman in there. It goes without saying this season though haha.

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh, and Gibson would be a bench player. He is not good enough for a starting player and also he is injury prone. I would loan Barkley out. I don't think he is quite ready to be a regular starter and I agree with Moyes, his progress should not be rished. He looked great against Arsenal though.

According to the press (must be true) Malky Mackay spent a couple of days at Goodison with Moyes.

daylon claasen, looks a very very good player. People can say he played in the pro league and its not a great league. Well its worth a shot look at the players that have come from there like benteke and lakaku. Anyone else think he would be a good addition? ( better than naismith)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

No harm on a free. I imagine very low wages

Roberto Mancini is doing a clear out in the summer and with him now apparantly interested in Danny Simpson from Newcastle not only is Lescott available but also Micah Richards, I know they want 10m for him but let's just say in the summer they decrease that to let's say 7m would any of you like us to at least consider a bid for him? I mean he is a quality right back but imo will eventually become a full time center back, its unlikely but you never know, I for one would accept him with open arms.

COYB!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Coleman has been brillint this season, we should not be looking at another RB unless it is an understoody.
