The club have announced that apostolos vellios, mason springthorpe and ibou touray have been released, no suprises there, vellios-doesnt want to be a footballer, he wants to be man on football wages, stupid kid has blew it, springthorpe-looked very dodgy whenever I've seen him, no shock here, touray-again, defensively has cost bags of goals at youth level and looked limited going forward, good luck to all of them, the club have also announced matieuz taudul (jan mucha), tony hibbert and conor mcaleny have been offered new contracts, taudul-quite small but still young and looks very talented indeed, hibbo-good to help the youngsters and offers a level headed bit of clver across the back four and up front, mcaleny-he must be in the first team now, he's nearly 23, martinez must want to use him next season then, happy with those tbh, good luck to the departures and well done to the lads that are staying

Ed02, you did a list about players we have looked at, having been on the other pages having a little gander, I noticed you have said you will do an updated list when you have the time, could you please do that for everton aswell?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - Sure, remind me next week.}

Listen lads. The press hate us toffees. They know that Everton are the only consistent threat to their beloved golden top four boys. Sure the spuds broke in once but that is it. We are always there and thereabouts for top four honors. They don't want that to happen. The press will always announce players leaving Everton to cause squad unrest. It has been that way for years. Look also at the number of penalties awarded, we are one of the lowest in the league. If you think I am being paranoid well the facts speak for themselves.

what doy you think about Julian Speroni on a free ed? decent 2nd keeper if you ask me. Gareth Barry also on a free because he has been released by City.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - speroni would be a great No2 for me BN..

Me too dunno if he would play second fiddle mind

Agree0 Disagree0

Absolutely Paddock. Speroni will expect to be first choice. Instead we should be looking at Alex McCarthy at Reading.

I was just reading an old report that David Moyes was "furious and disgusted" at the manner in which he was sacked at Manchester United. I know this is old news, but I had to have a little chuckle remembering the way he left EFC. I was pretty disgusted that he left us in a similar fashion. The old saying, "what goes around comes around" sprang to mind. Especially with the reports of his little wine bar fiasco. Another saying sprang to mind about "the grass being greener".

My sentiments exactly Degay

Coleman, stones, jagielka, baines, mccarthy and barkley have all been touted as 'everton wknt be able to resist' type of deals, thing is, we've resisted so far, why can't we continue, let them sit there and go he isn't good enough, he'd get in any premier league team I guarantee you, they can live in dreamland, hey they won't need mccarrthy after pogba, kroos, modric, fabregas, muller, khedira and iniesta join, bored yet?

Agree0 Disagree0

What are you talking about, Swan?

Rooney, Baines, fellaini - all players utd targeted. Now the horrible red mancs want to pinch James McCarthy. Hope we tell them get lost. He is one of the players we should be building the squad around with Ross, Coleman and stones.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Wouldn't worry too much mate, don't think he'll be going anywhere tbh

Its that time of year now where the football has stopped and the journalists take the reigns in trying to disrupt any team which dare to be a threat to the top clubs. James Macarthy linked to Manchester United today, John stones and barkley last week, and coleman before that.
I would actually prefer to not have any news than the lazy made up stories that continue to be spread about. Not just our team either, Southampton had a great season and all there top players are being pushed out the door by these fictional story tellers as well.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Totally agree! how many times to RM or BK say there is no pressure to sell anyone! I think they are made up to upset the fans not the players.

Agree0 Disagree0

Listen it will always happen, the press have us linked with players it a way of filling a paper everyday by any means

Hi guys, was reading the Ty Browing article on his 1st cap for england under21s, in which its said he completed the full 80mins. am I missing something or is this just a typo. Cheers.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

They only play 80 mins in under 18s I though after that it's the full 90. I may be wrong on that though

Agree0 Disagree0

The Toulon tournament is 80 minutes play :)

Saw a few sources saying we are interested in 20 year old Dover athletic central defender chris ragget, supposedly the new chris smalling

Believable0 Unbelievable0

So overrated and not very good

Agree0 Disagree0

Wouldn't want the old Chris Smalling, never mind the 'new' Chris Smalling.

Agree0 Disagree0

The 'new chris smalling?', what a prospect!

Hi Ed, sorry to bother you but I was wondering, from an earlier post was the alleged Abu Dhaby money dependant on if we reached the champions league this year?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - I have no idea what you are talking about. He is a right back?}
