Although we have agreed a higher fee for Donnelly it seems he is swansea bound(hope not) I am saying this because this is what the Cliftonville manager said,"Rory said that he was impressed by Swansea and by what Brendan Rodgers had to say.

"He said the facilities were good and that there was a great team spirit with no egos. The Northern Irish link with Brendan probably helped too.

"We expect the deal to be completed. We've got a fixture on Boxing Day and I'm planning for it without Rory". What do you think Ed?

really hope we get the clifftonvile striker, if we do we will have some really bright youngsters, george green added a few months ago, along with donnelly(hopefully) the dufus brothers and our own very good youth system

Believable5 Unbelievable1

No chance of winning any games like, but we'll have a great youth system. Maybe when we're in the 2nd division, we'll have a **** hot team..

Agree1 Disagree4

Weve won 3 of our last 6, and if we havnt got money to spend then youth it has to be. if your a real blue you would apprieciate the need for decent youth players coming through

Just been listening to David Moyes on SSN an he said that he is definitely looking at bringing in a striker in January. Also said on SSN that Rangers are going to have to listen to offers for Jelavic during the transfer window. Is their any chance of him coming to Everton? What are your thoughts Ed? {Ed001's Note - if the money is there, yes there is a chance, but they will only sell him for a decent wedge, which I really doubt is available to Moyes in January.}

not really a rumour as cant I stand these wind up idiots BUT my familily have lots of irish connections and the irish evertonians that we know think there might be some mileage in rumour of very famous irish billionaire famous in race horse circles having very strong interests in efc this is only what I have heard and prob nothing in it but would love to hear the views from the many lovely irish evertonians over there as to what they have heard ..we certainly buying and bidding for irish players ie coleman and this donnely etc all the best lovely blues yes even to you gandolph .tp

Would that be jp mcmanus? That rumour has been going around for a while! Most recently in the summer! It was on twitter and various other sites but as we all know nothing came of it! I havent heard anything relating to mcmanus or any other irish billionaire looking into buying us! But doesnt mean its not true! But imo its just pub talk!

Agree10 Disagree1

Your talking about JP McManus right?
There were rumours about him being interested in buying the club over the summer and that he was a supporter of the club. As far as I know, these rumours weren't very true, also he supports Man Utd and used to be the major share holder with them back in the 1990's.

Breeno {Ed001's Note - he was only a shareholder because he WAS friends with Ferguson, until they fell out during that infamous fallout when Fergie got a little greedy and tried to take them on head on in court. That is why McManus sold out to the Glazers, it was revenge, he is not a United fan.}

Agree7 Disagree1

When his horse won the arc a few years back they put an everton blanket over at the end

Agree7 Disagree1

Sorry Ed, but he does actually support Man Utd, that is why he bought a share in them in the first place.

Breeno {Ed001's Note - no he does not, you are wrong sorry, he bought shares in United due to Fergie telling him that it was a good investment.}

Agree6 Disagree1

He supports Scunthorpe united! Hes a season ticket holder :-).

HI tp here again thanks for comments on my post .just a tiny bit of meat on bone ie harry harris reported on 8th sept that everton were talking to poss buyers from far east .china .and europe ..and I dont see anyone in europe ie spain holland france or england etc etc who could be linked with europe interested party .so the europe interest good chance ireland

Is there a medical condition/term to decribe and a way to deal with or treat my condition?
Every fortnight I go to the game and say to myself before I arrive "don't get worked up" about some of the crap football I'm seeing in front of me by the blues - simple passes done badly - players not bothering to run and jump for a long high ball that's landing 5 yards from them - Saha not bothering to get in the box when baines delivers a killer ball across the six yarder - you know the stuff - so I sit there moaning and muttering in my seat, shaking my head and getting really churned up inside at it (I do clap, chant and cheer the good stuff, it's just the bad stuff drives me mad) - how can I stop this terrible condition? I must be a pain to sit near to - but I can't stop myself from doing it.
How can I stop this embarrassing condition - it seems to be getting worse.
If it carries on this way it's only a matter of time before I run onto the pitch and hit Coleman with something like a frying pan when he loses the ball once too often!
Help!

ps Merry Chrsitmas to one and all! {Ed007's Note - Merry Christmas mate. Your condition is quite common and is known as 'Troofitba Fanaticus' to give it it's Latin name.}

I know we desperatley need a striker but I really don't think maynards the answer, if we sign him its just because he's cheap and will shut all the on the fence fans up, we should go for either jelavic or wilfried bony both relativley cheap and both score goals for fun

Why is it that everyone thinks that a takeover is answer to all of our problems?

look at the takeovers over the last few years and see how many of them have resulted in success?

The important thing for our club is to get either investment or a direct takeover but both of these need to be by the correct party. I would rather wait for the correct investors than rush through a takeover.

Man City's takeover was a success

Agree2 Disagree1

Yeh but that as well as chelseas/man utd are vastly outweighed by the amount that havent worked
