To be honest we can't blame players who leave for more money like Pienaar because its their job, if you were offered more wages at a different company wouldn't you take it? {Ed025's Note - its not as if he was on buttons here!. the guy is a millionaire..there is such a thing as loyalty..

Believable0 Unbelievable1

You cant compare a 'normal' person leaving his or her job for a better paid one to a footballer doing the same! If you get paid 50 grand a week and still want more then your greedy, simple as that!

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm on a tenner an hour, just been offered another job doing same thing for £14 per hour 20 miles away, happy where I am, I know everyone here, decent wage and the grass isn't always greener on the other side, not interested staying put -----same thing to me but he was on a bit more than me lol-----made his bed now he can sit on their bench cos there's a new guy in town called Drenthe, see ye peanut

Agree5 Disagree0

Irrespective of how much someone has, if the offer to go elsewhere for more money to do exactly the same job, we'd ALL take it. Anyone that disagrees is a liar. Spuds were in the Champions League too remember, that was the added draw. If anyone needs to take the blame it's the board. He wanted parity with Arteta and would happily have signed but it wasn't offered. Pienaar must have known too that he was in much better form than Mik and was to all intents and purposes THE main man. His salary though didn't reflect it. I'd welcome him back. All those who'd be against it would soon be cheering him if he scored the winner against Utd or the scum. Fickle lot some of you out there.

Agree0 Disagree2

If he'd have let us know sooner he wanted to go and then we could have sold him for a proper sum then it might not have been too bad - but he strung it out knowing he'd sorted it with Harry - so that Everton got almost nothing for him. He wanted it all himself, despite Moyes making him a 'name' - and we'd have got nothing at all if Harry and Pienaar had had their way - it was only cos Chelsea supposedly took an interest that forced Harry to give us even a couple of million - Pienaar and Redknapp we stitching up Everton together. Redknapp sees us as competition to spurs so he tries knicking useful players we're trying to sign - like Kyle wotsit - and then Pienaar - and cos spurs have somehow got more money than us he can look like he's doing better than moyes when in fact moyes is the (much) better manager.
I love it that he's bought a 75k a week dud. LOVE IT! {Ed001's Note - sorry but how can you claim Pienaar was made a name at Everton? He was a big name player as a kid at Ajax, long before he joined Everton.}

I wouldnt even want pineaar back on a free ed, loved him when he was here but we've moved on and are better without him, he is too slow as well. Drenthe is the way forward for the blues. I would love to see us add another striker in January as well

Believable4 Unbelievable1

I agree, we don't need pineaar back, he would probably be warming the bench at everton as well, donovan on the other hand............ {Ed025's Note - would be a great signing..

Agree5 Disagree0

Donovan right wing Drenthe left wing ! We can dream !! Would love to see that !

personally i think bily should be sold in January and to bring in holtby and 1 or 2 loan deals or cheap players like gueye and vellios... in the summer i think we need to sign drenthe permanent COYB!!!

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Drenthe appears to be the latest gem that moyes has brought to the club, this guy can possibly inspire us to a cup this season,he is the sort of player our team has been crying out for ages. {Ed025's Note - i agree mate..

Agree1 Disagree0

This everton team is the best in a couple of seasons i think, probably since we had donovan in team, we just need another striker in january as i still feel we are a bit short there {Ed025's Note - your right pal...we are creating a lot of chances...that are not being converted..

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Arsenal at home, the little spaniards return {Ed025's Note - that would be vey nice mate..

Agree2 Disagree0

I have Southampton away because then I can go and watch as I live on the south coast {Ed025's Note - thats a bit selfish....or shellfish, seeing as you live by the coast...lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Someone like stoke or newcastle at home wouldn't be a bad draw for us, a home draw is the main thing.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets hope we have a good saturday, a decent result at city and a nice home draw in the cup.

Agree0 Disagree0

Anyone apart from the two manchester clubs, and if they get drawn to play eachother then that would be good, united v everton final :-)

Orite blue noses

If you think 4-4-2 is the way forward can you click agree if not click disagree. I just want a idea of what other people are thinking. Thanks

Believable11 Unbelievable4

Most fans want 4-4-2, because when we attack team with two strikers we look the business, when we brought on the strikers and attacked wigan it payed of

Bez the blue {Ed025's Note - bez...if moyes ever packs it in...you and me could take over the reins....we would be world beaters!..

Agree0 Disagree0

Dream team matey, better than barnes and mcateer......lol(:

Bez the blue {Ed025's Note - the new clough and taylor..lol

Just been reading the site and finally some people are agreeing that felli n rodwell can't play together we need 1 of them with Cahill/Osman/Barkely in a midfield 4 NOT 5 (i kind of hope felli goes at some point soon n we get a wedge for him) there are a lot of combinations of attacking 2's I would choose from Cahill/Vellios/Saha/Denis my personal team would be

Howard

Hibbert Jags Distin Baines

Coleman Rodwell Osman drenthe

Cahill Saha(subbed for Vellios around half time)

Subs Vellios Barkley felli nev Denis mucha
Plenty of attacking options

Would anyone else fancy seeing Owen brought in on loan in January for extra competition up front?

Does know where the back of the net is!

Maiden

Believable2 Unbelievable3

Be good to see him at everton. But his wages may make this a mute point. {Ed025's Note - he has said he is not at united for the money...if he means it, then we are the very team for him!..

Agree0 Disagree0

Too old and wages would be a problem why not have a look at Nicky Maynard the Bristol City striker {Ed025's Note - because he is being touted, in the £6 million bracket...thats why..

Agree0 Disagree0

Moyes is supposed to be getting some of the arteta money in january ed, hopefully to sign a a striker. I personally would like to see owen in an everton shirt, i think he would do well and he would be bound to score the winner in the derby

Bez the blue {Ed025's Note - when we take over bez...we will make him our first signing..

Its frustrting to see us play so poorly were a good team with great players so why are we struggling! Saying that we are on a 5 match unbeaten run and if united play poor and stil win then thats what champions do :-) we need to step up big time for the upcoming games! We are 7th 3 points off 3rd so far performances aside we are having a great strt to the season if we can muster 7 points from the next 5 games then il be very happy . But big improvments are needed all over the field!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

A lot of teams had an unexciting match last night, must be the weather lol, bit too cold for all the superstars, we won and that's what counts, bring on the City as we will need to step it up a gear which we seem to do when the going gets tough, well done Philly Nev and we need you on Saturday to give them the Ronaldo tackling treatment and scare them a bit. - Degsy
