Fair play to Victor for not wearing the 'kick it out' shirt this weekend.

I'm hoping he won't wear the Everton shirt next weekend.

Is pineaar banned for the derby {Ed025's Note - yes mate..

Believable1 Unbelievable0

We should appeal against that second yellow. That was never a foul! The one two minutes before was though.... Blue Lee

Agree0 Disagree0

You can't appeal yellows. It keeps being said on this site but people keep asking. He's banned. End of.

Ed, fellow toffees, does anyone know what the chances are of Hibbo, Gibbo and Screech being fit for the derby ? Responses appreciated. {Ed025's Note - touch and go with all three i hear mate....with gibbo being the one most likely to miss out..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Hibbert played for the under 21's today

Agree0 Disagree0

Let's face it we need Hibbo back asap, Coleman makes far too many basic errors, I'd like to see his pass completion stats, and his positional play, at times, is shocking

Agree0 Disagree0

Hibbert and Fellaini will be in the squad. Gibson won't be risked.

Why the hell have we let barkley stay at sheff wed on a week to week deal i understand he needs games and the experiance in invaluble to him but thats not the way to do it how can he be settled if he doesnt know where he will be playing one week to the next i think we could do with him coming off the bench at the minute

One of the other posters asked about us appealing against Peanut's red card & a reply answered that it cannot be done because it was for 2 yellows. I may be wrong but can a club not appeal against a wrongly issued yellow, like the second one? We could really do with Peanuts for the derby so I think it's worth trying.

Toffee Tezza

Believable1 Unbelievable2

I think that only applies to cards issued to the wrong player though I may well be wrong

Agree0 Disagree0

Which FIFA or FA person made this rule up? - it's ridiculous - if a card is undeserved its undeserved - full stop - if they dont want to be inundated with appeals then just give every club only 3 appeals per year - then they'll use them cautiously - FFS, its ridiculous - we lose a top player for a top game because of some person ref! The guy did a weird double swing with his leg and kicked Pienaars knee!

At least we still have Mirallas on one wing and Naismith on the other - so it's not like the FA semi where we had no wingers (thanks to that divy dutch guy)

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Exactly - they're probably a couple of 15 year olds - they sound like it - "I support a team with a wealthy owner - aren't I great? - much better than you lot who suport another team with less money! aah-haaaaa" - like that div Nelson in the simpsons

big deal - grow up and go away - get a life where you're proud of yourself and not some russian billionaire, you prat

And you'll still get beaten at the old lady as per usual...

Agree0 Disagree0

And you must be worried about us you clown, you can have all the money in the world soft lad but there is 1 thing money cant buy and that is class and trust me your fans have none of it, i bet before roman bought your club most of your fans supported other clubs and we know this because we remember when you had a couple hundred going away games and look at games before roman when your home games were empty, you clowns will never have the fan base of us, man u, liverpool, arsenal, spurs even west ham have more fans than you, who will you support when roman leaves let me guess probally a club with loads of money winning things just like sad pathetic glory hunters do.

Agree0 Disagree0

Extremely, we honestly all want players who don't care about the club and only come for the money

I haven't been on this site for a while. Can someone explain why Chelsea fans keep posting on here?

I have lived down in London for 15 years now and it amazes me how many more Chelsea fans there are these days, now they are successful!

Agree0 Disagree0

Like when you signed Torres for £50 mill? hows that working out for you? 11 goals in 54 apearances isn't exactly world class, is it? Give me a player that plays for his shirt rather than his wages every time

You mean the team with one of the largest transfer budgets ever playing a 9-1-0 formation against Barca and Bayern and fluked the trophy. I call that anti-football. At least real clubs like Man U have the cojones to have a go at them. Gutless, spineless club and 'fans'

What's the Spanish Waiter doing on our page ? Bigger club than Everton, Chelski ? Then you woke up, right ?

No matter how much you keep telling em about our rich history, tradition, pedigree and fanbase they either don't understand or they're too ignorant and far to up their own asses to acknowledge it. Wet behind the ears... most of em. Can't tar em all with the same brush as I'm sure there are some reasonable, sensible, fair minded amongst them somewhere

Why are alot of our fans panicking about the derby.Yes we have no peanuts for the game we might be missing Fellaini and Gibbo too.Put Mirralas out on the left Naismith on the right Johny Heitinga in the centre with Osman we will be alright as long as Neville does not play in the centre ...i predict a good win for us and the fact were at Goodison coyb imwt .Stef the blue

Believable4 Unbelievable1

Personnally I would play Oviedo on the left. We paid a lot of money for him so lets give him a chance.

After reading a lot of the other posts, I think some of us expect to win every game come what may. Lets be honest we did not play well yesterday, Jags, Distin and Howard were the exception. An away game against a team desperate to get their first win, with 10 men for the last half hour, is never going to be easy. 4th in the table after 8 games, three points behind the two manc clubs is in my opinion a good start. We cant and wont win every game, but to take an away point with such a poor performance is not to be sniffed at.

Whilst not wishing to criticise Moyes, I think Peanuts should have been subbed after his final warning. The ref seemed to have it in for him. I really do hope Gibbo and Fellaini are back for the derby, i cant put myself through watching Phil Neville in centre mid one more time.

Onwards and upwards fellow blues

Alastair

Believable5 Unbelievable2

I don't expect to win every game, but only picking up 2 point against 2 of the worst teams in the league (Wigan & QPR), is pathetic.

Mike

Agree0 Disagree0

Exactly my thoughts, in the main. I wouldn't have subbed peanut though as he can be a game changer.

You're spot on about expectations, a point at a side already fighting for their lives. It's a good point and we should keep that in mind come the end of the season.

QPR will not be in the bottom three soon Mike, they have some quality players mate and I expect them to go on a good run once they have sacked Sparky.

We done ok there with ten men and a pity Jagielka's header didnt go in cos I had a tenner on him scoring the last goal at 25/1

Anyone know whether we can appeal Pienaars second yellow as it was never a foul, he probably should have got sent off for the foul just before that though lol, but they yellow was wrong for that foul.

Roll on Sunday, Felli and Gibson in midfield hopefully, wont know whats hit them

Degsy

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree completely with the subbing of Peanuts - Moyes should have seen that one coming with the derby next week - the ref was absolutely itching to get him off - after that jump one came close you could see he was thinking "you give me the slightest excuse and you're off" nobhead ref wanted to show a red card - complete wally

Agree0 Disagree0

Mike, Mike, Mike. The show of a real team is that of a team who picks up the points against teams who play better than you. Out of our best team, Fellaini, Gibson & Hibbert (he is actually so under-rated) were out. You can't win all the games and I know where you are coming from, but let's be serious, did we expect us to beat United, or last season beat Spurs, City or Chelsea?

So long as we make up for points lost against teams who we know aren't better, but not necessarily worse than us, against the bigger teams then you can't ask for much more. Beating the bigger teams is how you get respect.

In the end, no matter how 'better' we are than the opponent, if we pick up points when we play below our standards, like the first half of Wigan, and all of the QPR game, then I'll be happy. The annoyingness comes from playing below the standards we should be reaching at a minimum, not from not beating the opponent. I'm not causing another argument, I'm simply stating that, given the situation of football's working (injuries, suspensions, etc), you are only as good as the performance, not the team you're playing.

United, City, Chelski (yes, "Chelski" for you Chelski "fans" who wonder why the hell you are called that - just look at the attendances of the Chelsea gates before and after Mr. Abramovich gave you extra pocket money to spend on players - and that will give you the biggest proof of why the majority of the Chelski "fans" are, as we say here in the north-west, glory supporters), etc all lose points at the likes of QPR, Wigan, and up until this season, Bolton and Blackburn (no offense to them but I'm referring to teams that other people say we are "better" than no matter what the XI we start with), but still achieve their targets of European qualification (CL or Europa L). So basically, taking away the fact that we had a very weakened squad from our best XI, picking up points where you wouldn't expect make up for points dropped at teams we're "better" than.

If we don't make up for the points lost at these weaker teams then I agree with you, but to say it in one sentence I'd say what I said previously: Your performance is only as good as your team, no matter who the opposition is.

Wow, that took a while to write. Sorry for the big post. Oh and Mike, most of that post was aimed at all the people who don't give clubs the respect they deserve, not just you.

I for one am happy with a point today we weren't at our best that's for sure but I had a feeling before today's game that qpr are due a win I thought today was a tricky game for us thought we were to lightweight in cm osman an Neville looked lost they won everything in midfield today and when you look at it was an away game had 10 men for long period it's a point we probably would not of fit last year so we still going nicely and with Gibson and Fellini returning we will be at our best again very soon jags was immense today
