Use our rumours form to send us everton transfer rumours.

With all the injured players coming back realistically we need a striker and a left back in this window. Coleman, Bolasie and Barkley (whom I hope will get a chance to play next to Rooney ) going to be massive for us in the second half of the season.

Barkley is a goner in January so scrap any notion you have of him alongside Rooney.
If he was staying that would have been dealt with once Koeman was sacked, he has 6 months remaining on his contract so will be sold in January when a bid comes in that is acceptable.

My view is that if he wants out then the sensible thing to do business wise is sell him on. A lot of disappointed Evertonians probably but loyalty in football has disappeared these days. Best example of a player that idolises their club and showed unquestionable loyalty (even when better and bigger clubs came calling, no disrespect intended) that I can think of was Matthew Le Tissier. Fabulous player and could have done so much more but stuck with Southampton rightly or wrongly. Money is king these days with the ludicrous wages on offer. It's a short career but I'd wish him well if he did go.

Merry Christmas Evertonians 🎉💥🎊
A little early I know, but I have so many happy beautiful friends, I thought I'd get the ugly ****ers out of the way first. After careful consideration of your comments in this forum, I have decided to extend our friendship for another 12 months.
A little Christmas message from me to you. Not every flower can say love, but a rose can. Not every plant survives a thirst, but a cactus can. Not every retard can read, but look at you go. Today you should take a moment and send an encouraging message to some ****ed up friends, just as I have done. You hang in there my little cupcakes.
Merry Christmas all 🎉💥🎊
Don't **** it up. All the best in 2018

Everton Everton Everton.

Great little story in the daily fail today, apparently Everton sent director of football David Walsh to watch Lille centre back Martyn Glover on Wednesday as Sam Allardyce looks to strengthen the spine of his squad. Well, at least they got the manager right! . Sporting journalism at its finest.

I have been reading a lot on forums how we should be playing more entertaining football. Just before big Sam arrived we would of been happy to watch us just play football, let alone more entertaining football. The RS across the park play entertaining football yet since big Sam's arrival we have amassed more points than them playing the way we are playing, yet some of you want us to change.

Since the arrival of big Sam some people want us to start defending from the front, otherwise Sam is a poor manager. Would someone be kind enough to actually write down exactly what is meant by defending from the front please, because I am sure most people have no idea what is meant. Does it mean you are not happy with our defending and want us to change?

We have only conceded 2 goals and only dropped 2 points, You need to remember Sam only has the same players as we had when we were losing games and became tangled in a relegation battle. Over the last 5 games that Sam has been in charge we have conceded less goals than Man city over the same time period, yet people want us to defend from the front as City do, whatever defending from the front means.

I admit we are far from the finished article at this moment in time and it is very doubtful that things will improve greatly in the next transfer window, it will improve over time and will probably take a few seasons to do so, it took City years of building to get where they are now.

For some reason the supporters on here and other forums are always bleating on about how we should change, they look for the tiniest reason to moan about the club instead of enjoying the fact that we are no longer in a relegation fight, we can hold our heads up to the RS and we have a bit of a chance of getting something out of tomorrow's game (even if only a point )

I will not be bothering to reply to any replies on this post because the negativity and garbage from some on here means it just is not worth my effort doing so. I will be on live chat tomorrow as their are some good debates at times with very little negativity.

Rant over as I am going back to my crate of humbugs.

We all love the results Grumpy and as long as we evolve the football slowly over the rest of the season I will be as happy as I am now. It is a building job for Sam and most of us understand that but, we can't go through the season giving every team 70% of the ball or we will need one hell of a defence. As long as Sam gets the team keeping and moving the ball in the middle of the park we'll be fine. What I will say is we can't do that unless Schneids gets back to his best or we sign a ball playing centre mid.

Results first. It has to be. Then progress, development and incorporation of stylish attractive entertaining football. can't go from getting turned over to winning in style just like that. I think the tenures of koeman and martinez have tought us so much.

{Ed025's Note - im quite happy to see us grinding out results at the moment tit but i do want the quality to improve in our general play, this will hopefully come sooner rather than later mate..

23 Dec 2017 11:23:55
Same as that Ed mate, as you say results then good footy, it will come as the players get their confidence back under Big Sam, also with the window coming up as well think our new Boss will do well mate.

Definitely worth punt. Straight back to Leicester. The lad can't get a game for them and I'm not even sure he's any better than DCL and I sure as he'll wouldn't want to spend 20mill finding out.

Just been listening to the interview with Sammy Lee on SSN, this guy is an absolute GEM, he is discussing his roll at Everton and saying what passion and respect he has for us and what a big club we are etc etc, i can see both Big Sam and Little Sam being just what our Great Club has been crying out for for years, get a result tomorrow and who knows the doubting Thomases amongst us may actually start to Believe.

Man Utd and Man City will not face charges after their fracas in the tunnel. Mourinho will also not face action from the FA over his pre-match comments.

However, the FA has reminded the Portuguese that any further public comments about match officials may result in disciplinary action. I wonder how many more last warnings he will get? Just like Sir Alex.

{Ed002's Note - More whining from paranoid supporters of the Merseyside clubs. Embarrassing.}

22 Dec 2017 12:12:12
Ed mate, so if fans did that in the ground what would have happened to them?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - If fans get involved in pushing and shoving, nothing. If there is anything serious the fans would be sought out and charged and the clubs could b harged for failing to control their fans. I don't see what it has to do with the matter. It is simply the fans of Merseyside clubs whining how hard one by they are again.}

I spoke in detail with an ex Arsenal captain when Ferguson was Man Utd manager and he gave me some statistics about number of fouls conceded compared with bookings. all I will say is that the ex Arsenal captain is also a whinging moaning scouser too! Even though he is a cockney who played for Arsenal!
