Use our rumours form to send us everton transfer rumours.

Over the years Everton have had the knack of putting you on a high, only to bring you back down to earth with a thud.

Season after season the false dawns, the frustrations of selling our best players, plucky Everton tag.

Still early Days, but what I am seeing now is the right people in charge, the right players being bought, no longer believing a player will not sign for us, we are now competing in the market, not just for also rams, players on their last big pay Day, we are now bringing in quality.

Even our bench and backup is strong, gone are the Days where a suspension or injury had a huge impact on the team.

Add to this year after year of season ticket price freezes, the eitc, all the work for homeless and mental health issues.

What is not to like about being an Evertonian, we may have stagmented over the past years, but a window change is rattling around Everton Football Club right now.

I just hope fellow Evertonians are feeling as proud right now as I am of our football club.

To be fair BigNev it is not Everton per-say that builds us up but rather us ourselves. Not laying out the blame on individuals but our patience as Evertonians has also become shorter and shorter as us old uns are out weighed by the impetuous youthful supporter. Who knows how Martinez would have turned out, look at him now! Same goes for a few we have had. I have high hopes for Mr Silva and his staff things are certainly coming together but true progress will be measured in my eyes once we begin beating some or all of the so-called top six instead of coming away saying, 'well, we gave them a run for their money'.

It takes time Bill, but for now we are more optimistic of going toe to toe against the top 6, we are certainly making progress, few more transfer windows and a top class finisher and will be further progress.

When you look at players getting injured, we seem to have cover throughout to come in, and not playing out of position to plug the gap, the only area that concerns me is the goalkeeper backup should anything happen to Pickford, Virginia needs a bit more time and Stek not ideal for me as backup.

yeah look at Martinez now? he's got one of the best national teams in the world and just threw away a 2-0 lead and lost 5-2, don't forget that team he has somehow landed is getting him plaudits, its harder to lose with that squad of players than win!

And with respect wblue2 that is what I am talking about on negativity around this Club from some. It goes back as far as Catterick.

Bill, how are wblue2's comments negative around Everton football club? He is disagreeing with you that Martinez is doing a great job with Belgium and I am inclined to agree with him. You seem to have had a bizarre pop about negativity because your nose is out of joint because wblue2 had a different opinion to you!

Hi eds, been a very good week for Everton players, one in particular is vasic, he's young and seems to be doing very well, at 20 he's got along time to flourish, do you think he will be given another chance or sold on, some leagues suit some players better than others.

{Ed001's Note - a lot depends on him, he was not keen to wait for his chance before he went out on loan.}

I see Richarlison scored again for Brazil after coming on as sub in their 1 nil win. This really is a special young man. I suspect his carerr will emulate Rooney's and we will have so much interest soon his head will be turned. I hope the manager can keep his feet on the ground and we get at least a few years of that potential. Sorry to bring a downer to the table, but I think we all know how special this talent is.

You’re both right. But I’m not at all worried. We will have him for a few more seasons maybe and make a mint on him. Then give the money to Brands who will unearth another cracker.

I agree now we have Marco and Brands no need to worry if he will want to stay, but if not plenty more fish in the sea, I can see the way Everton are now going forward up the league and also all that is going on with the Club there will be a queue to join us.

My only worry is that this type of player is unearthed once every 10 or 20 years at a club. Imagine our season so far without his input and someone elses? I believe he is a very special player and so mature for his age. I suspect Barca, Juve, Real and all the Euro big clubs as well as our domestic ones will be interested already.

He is degsy mate but so is Gomes, Mina and others, so no need to worry, have faith in Brands he is the Special One.

If we want to be in top 4 we need special players. Liverpool, Spurs, city and Chelsea all have them,
Get used to it as I think there will be more special players to come.
If Barcelona come knocking we have leverage - 200 million plus Mina and Gomez?
I think as long as we progress we don’t really need to worry.
Spurs Utd and Arsenal there for the taking. COYB.
