You're a card Mike, sitting there with your girlfriend and all of those pals.

By the way I threw you name in to my post to get a reaction and it went viral, miserable Mike trending on the Everton banter page.

Mike the leg end!

I thought the FA rules stated the that retrospective banning of players took place if the referee missed the incident during the match. (and it was a sending off offence). I know Suarez got away with a rake (studs down the leg) on Distin..... he was booked.

How did he get away with it for the 2nd time last week? This time against Wigan's David Jones. Martinez even stated that the FA should have a look at it as it is not his job. Alan Hansen even said as much on Match of the Day.

The FA have been quick to ban Villa manager Lambert for his post match comments about the Man City penalty. Surely they are getting priorities wrong here? Injured players are less important than a few words about a poor decision by officials? Am I going nuts?? Degsypulford

Oh you bitters do make me chuckle...is there a day goes by were your obsession with anything and everything thats red, doesnt creep out onto your pages,i see the humerous ed025 is always having a go at one of your own for being miserable haha come on ed025 cut mike some slack will ya lad, ofcourse hes miserable hes had nothing to cheer about scince 1985 just like the rest of you......
rodger the dodger {Ed025's Note - when did your massive club last win the league rodger?...i do have a go at mike from time to time, because we are playing great entertaining football, and are in the upper echelons of the league, so really theres nothing much to moan about!...now if i was a red, i would be moaning that only one player in the team is worth his salt, and even though he is a serial cheat..he must be wondering what the rest of his under-achieving team mates are actually getting paid for!..

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd like to point out that ed025 is not 'always having a go' at me. Most of the time he is, but not always.

Mike {Ed025's Note - i dont like "having a go" at you mike....when you say positive things i really enjoy your posts, you just need to lighten up a bit mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

Correct me if I'm wrong but you must have a slight obsession coming on to our page for no reason ?! And if you knew your history, unusual for a reds fan not to, you'd know we won the FA Cup in 95

Mike Ed is always having a go at you mate, dont know whether its just me but I like your miserableness

Degsy {Ed025's Note - mikes favorite musical is...les-miserableness ;)

Agree0 Disagree0

Granted ed025 its been way,way too long that a massive club like ourselves have not won the league, its heart wrenching to be fair, infact its a travisty that britains most successful club of all time and the 3rd or just maybe 4th most successful club in world football ever has not added another one of those trophys to are already bulging trophy cabinet, but lets be honest shall we,weve had more than are fair share of infamous moments and triumphs in the last decade alone, while potless moyes has only had to just nearly get into the champions league once almost! in 05 and finish in 7th heaven last year to fulfill the appetite of your bitter stomachs, while we were adding to are legendary trophy haul yet again!! if i had an enourmous shadow over my house from my next door neighbours house all my life and never got to see any sunshine id probably be as bitter as all of yous too......
yours very smugly
rodger the dodger ;) {Ed025's Note - two words for you rodger...no not them two, although im tempted...SPENT FORCE!...you have to remember mate, that the glory days are long gone, you are not even considered a big club anymore im afraid...so just deal with it!..

Agree0 Disagree0

I honestly don't care if Ed025 has a go at me, or you Degsy mate. or Nostra. or Keith. or Tree Blue. and anyone else I've forgot about. I can take it, I know I'm negative and miserable and my views won't go down well. But it doesn't bother me, if it did, I would have left this site months ago.

Mike {Ed025's Note - GO ON MIKE..make my day!...post something nice about the blues...and thats a double dare!..

Agree0 Disagree0

Erm, something nice, erm, erm, I suppose the away kit is a nice colour, erm the third kit isn't too bad either, erm at least we haven't got Mark Hughes for our manager. Right ed, thats the best I can do. I had to really think about that aswell mate.

Mike {Ed025's Note - you do make me chuckle at times mike..

Agree0 Disagree0

If Davey had been operating under the same budget as you lot, hence a level playing field I don't think you'd be so smug my old pedigree

Agree0 Disagree0

Id rather be a 'bitter' than an overly sensitive RS! why are you always so defensive the moment one of us makes a post about you guys. were rivals for christs sake, we should be bantering about each other

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha it makes me feel like not playing with you anymore ed025!! you never like to post my posts that hit a nerve do you mate, its only a bit of banter, whats wrong with ya??
i bet you were the kid who used to say "its my ball and im going home" when we were kids werent ya haha
rodger the dodger {Ed025's Note - its not that rodger..the post you sent had no value mate...was it funny..no!..was it interesting..no!!..would other people like to read it..no!...i love banter rodger, but it has to have some substance..

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree unsigned poster i only pop over here for the banter but ed025 only posts what he feels he can reply too,he doesnt like it both ways like banter should be.....hes always ignoring my,what i would call funnier posts haha
rodger the dodger {Ed025's Note - what you call funny post, was just inane drivel rodger, and very repetative, if you up your game, i will post, and reply, but come on mate...challenge my intelligence..

Suarez was also the guy who fell onto terry's leg and bent it sideways injuring him - that was described as an accident but he does seem to collect his 'accidents' doesn't he? I'd be interested in seeing how many accidents or outright purposeful injurious incidents he's been involved in - looks like a dirty git to me who tries to injure his opponents on the quiet - like the distin incident

Chelsea have paid out £84 million in compensation to sacked managers since 2004. Everton have spent less than that on players transfer fees since the start of the premier league in 1992.
And some of you still doubt Moyes and Kenwright!

We are four points behind the European Champions after a dozen games.

Get behind the team lads even miserable Mike can't argue with that. Can he?

Nostrawigus {Ed025's Note - dont put money on it nostra ;)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

In all of that time we have won 1 FA cup.
I don't doubt Moyes to get us in the top 8. I do doubt he has what it takes to win a trophy. I would love him to prove me wrong, but I don't think he will.

Mike {Ed025's Note - if he proved you wrong mike, you would not love it.. you would spin your words, to make it sound lucky, or someone else,s doing, because thats just the way you are...miserable!..

Agree0 Disagree0

I honestly wouldn't Ed. The reason I am so 'miserable' is because we have won bugger all for nearly 20 years. Which is unacceptable. I'm not blaming Moyes for that, but he has had 11 years and won nothing.

Mike {Ed025's Note - with the financial constraints the club has had to endure, the guy has worked miracles!...please show some respect, for the gaffer and the club!!

Agree0 Disagree0

I do respect Moyes, he has taken us from relegation battles to a comfortable top 8 team. I just want him to push on and win that elusive trophy. Me doubting that he will doesn't change a thing. I don't want to argue with you ed as contary to opinion I like coming on here. I won't metion it again. And I'm certainly not going to go on the Liverpool page like you suggested.

Mike {Ed025's Note - its ok to question things mike, we are not sheep!..but come on mate..give some credit where its due!..its great to be an evertonian at the moment....enjoy it for christs sake!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Mike, its all about money and champions league these days. Thats why our neighbours are having a difficult time. Leeds Utd nearly went bankrupt too after failing to qualify years ago. Unless we get a sugar daddy like chelsea or man city, then we have to do it the hard way. ie slow growth and improvement year on year. You cannot deny thats what has happened in Moyes reign. Our position, performances, squads, players and quality of football have all increased year on year. In all that time only one club (man utd) have won trophies regularly based on their own finances and they are 600 million in debt anyway so its not really their finances! All the other clubs are either trophy less or have sugar daddies. I for one will be happy to continue with Moyes and WHEN we do actually lift the elusive trophy it will be all the sweeter knowing that we are a club with standards, style, quality, British tradition and many other things that will be all the better that we have not just done a man city or chelsea and bought our trophies. I used to work with a lad who supported Chelsea and Man Utd. Yes he would wear whichever shirt on the Monday from either team depending on which team had had the best win. I suggest you do that and you are bound to have posters of trophies all over your bedroom wall. Sorry Mike it's only a joke. Not ganging up on you really. Just be patient Mike. Moyes is the main man believe me. With a sugar daddy our trophjy cabinet would have been full by now. Degsypulford

I cant believe that fans come on here slagging off our players. Neville, Victor and Coleman all been slagged off recently. Hibbert was also slagged a while back. Hey we are 5th and all the players named above have contributed to our cause over recent years. If we had a lazy so and so like Berbatov or a diver like Suarez I could understand peoples views. Or even crap players like we had under Walter Smith. All the players named above have given 100%. Yes they have had good and bad games. Like I said we are 5th. We also had a great end to last season and if you add the end of last season to the beginning of this, then we are defo top 4 stuff. I reckon our biggest problem this season has been dodgy decisions in games by the officials. We have had so many pens turned down and goals disallowed for offside that wern't. The officials are what has let us down, not the players! Degsypulford {Ed025's Note - nice post that degsy p...its because our expectations are so high mate after such a good start, we all want the same things degsy, but i agree that slagging our own players is out of order, even if they are not world beaters..

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Thanks ed. I used to have a Man Utd mate (real one..season ticket holder) He said there are two types of supporter. Ones who slag the ref off and the players do nothing wrong. The other type slag the players off and pay no attention to the ref! It makes me chuckle. I know which one I am! Degsypulford

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Nov 2012 18:39:10
I don't think it's 'slagging off' players per se, it's just pointing out that they're simply not good enough ie. Coleman and Vic- they never will be if we've ambitions of top 4 and Nev is slightly past his best. I agree that getting on their backs and booing during games can prove counter productive, and I absolutely do not condone the grief and abuse Coleman has received on person;;]];er. But, obviously, they're not poor through choice nor do they make mistakes purposely and for that reason they should be supported as they will give 100% even if they do lack quality. But if the manager keeps selecting poor players and they're costing us points then you can't blame the players so much, you have to blame Moyes for selecting them in the first place.

Agree0 Disagree0

Big Vic has come on and scored a couple of goals as sub this season. He has looked fitter than ever before. (before his latest injury) I know he is not Messi, but as a kid coming on as a sub he has looked alright. Give the kid a break. He is still quite young (24 I think) when you consider he has never had a run of first team starts for say a whole season. I remember a whole load of our fans saying we should pay about 8 million for David Nugent about 4 years ago. I said at the time that Victor had a great chance to break through. Where is Nugent now? Victor's injuries have curtailed his progress. Signed Billy Anichebe. (only joking...it's degsypulford.)

I wonder what bridgeboy has to say about d'matteo's sacking? He just wouldn't listen to reason would he, and now abramawitch has got rid of another manager who only 6 months ago was the new messiah. Hopefully he's sitting at home in milton keynes sulking the self righteous prig.

RDM sacked!! How long before the rumour mill starts throwing Moyes' name in the hat? Just get the new contract signed Davie Boy.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Moyes isn't even on the bookies shortlist. He's not foreign so I doubt he has much of a chance though Steve Clark and that terry kid are on there

Agree0 Disagree0

No way will Chelsea want Moyes. They will want a manager who has actually won something IMO.

Mike

Agree0 Disagree0

I cant see Moyes taking that job, I mean RDM won the bloody Champs League and they aren't exactly out of the hunt for the Prem League by any stretch, and yet gets the sack, harsh.

Think Moyes knows it is a poisoned chalice, and cant see him giving up an Everton job, where he has total control of the football side of things and finally constructed a side that can make a run for 4th, for Chelsea, where you have no clue what the Russian is going to do next.

Personally, I think Moyes is waiting to see how the United job is going to unfold, hence waiting on signing a new contract, a lot will have to do on whether Ferguson continues or finally calls it a day.

Agree0 Disagree0

Moyes won't get the Utd job as they will want someone who has a track record of winning trophies.

Agree0 Disagree0

'Moyes won't get the Utd job as they will want someone who has a track record of winning trophies.'

That is true mate. No big club will go anywhere near Moyes for that reason.

Mike

Agree0 Disagree0

Isn't the purple nosed one advocating Moyes for the job ? Or at least nudging his board to take him in to consideration for the post. Can't see chelski as someone rightly pointed out, poisoned chalice, and, no long term or short term guarantee of even assembling your own team/squad.

Agree0 Disagree0

If that IS the case Mike then I, for one, will be more than happy to keep Davey
