Who's Jindrich Stanek?
According to the Everton official website we signed him from Sparta Prague on the 31/01/14.
Is he any good and what position does he play?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Goalkeeper and he's quite good.

Sorry not everton related but those pundits talking about England's exit how two faced they are especially Paul I'm thick as 2 planks merson saying we should of took A.Cole not being funny but it's not just last 12 months he has been on the decline for last 2 years maybe 3, Terry they are players past it and let's not forget they had 2 or 3 world cups and played like donkeys at these tournements we lost the 2 games because we did not pressure the opponents if anyone saw what Costa Rica did to Italy yesterday they pressurised the midfield pirlo was not given any time on the ball he put a couple of passes through but you only had to see how many touches he had half the amount he had against us that tells you everything if you let teams play they will beat you 9/10 pirlo seems to have time for cup of tea against us if that is the system we want to play then fine but Gerrard and Henderson won't break play up for you as they are not those types of players really don't think we have what I call holding midfielders with the current group which I believe there is good players in there can be together for next 2 tournements apart from 2 or 3 this is how I would play against Costa Rica and into the next era based on what we have

Hart

Stones. Cahill. Caulker.

Henderson. Baines

Whilshire
Barkley. Lallana

Rooney. Sturridge

I know everyone won't agree but it's formation I feel we should play we have players that suit a diamond shape

Agree mostly, I agree with the formation because there simply isn't enough good english full backs around, but then again apart from stones and caulker there isn't enough central defenders either, which is a huge problem, i'd play, against costa rica, forster milner cahill jagielka baines ox henderson lallana barkley sterling lambert, hart hasn't filled me with confidence, johnson, I think everyone knows he is poor, gerrard isn't a leader or a man, sturridge has proved my point about how overrated he is, welbeck is welbeck and rooney doesn't have a position, for me, in euro 2016 and its qualifiers, england should play lads under the age of 27 so they peak or have enough experience by then or by the next world cup, time england showed a pair and build for the future, out with the failures, including hodgson, and in with the young

Gerrard for me is reason we out of World Cup he is absolutely useless did nothing for two games except an assist for Suarez not once do I recall him comin and collecting ball from our defence not once did he break up play how many set pieces did he take and mess up Baines or Rooney should of took set pieces y is Barry after the season he had in gerrards position not even in squad joke and also all this talk of terry and Ferdinand the greats wot the f. k did they ever win for england

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets be honest here Cobyone, what has any player ever won for England?

Agree0 Disagree0

That would not be a bad team, But when did Caulker join up with the squad, I am pretty sure he knows he was not picked in the 23 man squad.

Agree0 Disagree0

It seems to me that the World Cup results come down to three things:
(1) Having a team that - without necessarily having the best players - is organised, disciplined, hard-working, and can follow the coach's tactical plan; or
(2) Has a player who produces that extra bit of quality (like Messi) when his team needs it - especially when the team's overall performance has been below par; and
(3) Doesn't suffer too many poor refereeing (and linesman - e.g. offside) decisions because the officials aren't up to the job and/or just aren't experienced enough at the highest level.
England weren't good enough defensively and players were played out of their best positions in my opinion; none of our players consistently showed their skills to the best effect and we never really had a "Messi" moment to WIN a match; but we weren't, all in all, too badly treated by the match officials.
Still, all of the above was enough to put us out. Face it, we're just not good enough.
Besides, I reckon most international teams would be beaten by a top club side these days.

{Ed025's Note - i agree sid, england players seem to freeze on the big occasions..

What player would you have from any of the teams who have been knocked to date? And yes I include England. I would have Henderson as he reminds me of my dog when it use to chase flies. I could take him for long walks and have hours of fun watching him chase his arse around.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Iniesta, busquets, costa, lallana.dont know which teams are out apart from england and spain lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

That made me chuckle Woburn

If I was an Everton fan I'd be more concerned that Kone was my first team striker. I'm sure Paul Konchesky is quaking in his boots at the thought of containing that beast!

Agree0 Disagree0

And if I was you I'd be more concerned that I named myself after a crap defenders attempt to look harder than I am haircut. Not to mention tattoos on arms that would snap at the very thought of arm wrestling a Barbie doll.

Aggers, as if we will get to the end of this window with only Kone as a first team striker, you lot are more deluded than I ever give you credit for. If I was a red shite I'd be more concerned with my own club and the fact your only class player could have played his last game in your club colours :)

Agree0 Disagree0

The name was meant to be stupid and ridiculous for a laugh. But I suppose I'd be miserable as well if my team hadn't won anything in so long :)

And as it stands, Kone is your only striker. So not deluded, fact. You might loan one if your lucky! I'll let you clutch at straws at the latter though

Agree0 Disagree0

Kone isn't our only striker. FACT. it may surprise you but naisy is actually a striker. Mirallas is a striker who has been repositioned as a winger.

Agree0 Disagree0

Least you got one thing right then

Agree0 Disagree0

Fair enough dentie, I actually forgot about Naismith. Mirallas doesn't have the ability to be an out and out striker in the premier league, I believe. None of them are hardly what you call prolific though.

Agree0 Disagree0

The main post was about our player Henderson so likewise mate. A player you clearly do not have enough knowledge about.

Hardly delusional, your first 11 featured almost 3 loan players every game. Whereas we just needed them to beef the squad out.

Your squad is already significantly weaker and you'll be very lucky to get those players back.Your club is just a stepping stone for these players. Always will be.

And as for post on your own page, 80 percent of the posts are about Liverpool or Liverpool players on here! If we done the same on our page, I'd expect you to come over and defend your team also.

Aggers, football banter is like my dad is harder than yours primary school playground banter, it doesn't matter what sense anyone speaks, my dad's a bodybuilder, well mine's Iron Man. it's the only time in the real world where people can get away with being hypocritical, nonsensical and derogatory, whilst being completely blinded by the colour of a shirt. Of course Everton are a million times better than Liverpool, and the table didn't lie for the last few seasons when Everton finished above LFC, but it did this season when LFC came second, a big massive lying table, because Liverpool cheat, and the FA love Liverpool as Suarez didn't get the death penalty for biting Ivanovic and scoring lots of goals against the other teams. Steven Gerrard has never been good, and let's laugh at him now he's getting old and can't run as much, and he's always secretly loved Chelsea even though he never went there. You are on the Everton page after all ;-)

Agree0 Disagree0

Super. that was a fantastic post made me chuckle. Keep em coming.
