If people say Green and co. are to blame for the price of Everton, they are wrong. They do not control the price that Kenwright sells his shares at. and His shares are the majority. So if he sells his shares... new chairman.

BlueGaz

Believable3 Unbelievable1

That would be true if bill had majority control of the club but he doesnt he doesnt own more than 50% of the shares. he just has the single largest shareholding an invester would have to buy his as well as elstone or greens holding for complete control and therin lies the problem. i kinda feel sorry for kenwright because he is just the public face of a bad bunch who are ALL responsible.

Agree0 Disagree0

How does Green and Earl not have a say in the price? Both own over 20% of the shares right on par with Kenwright. They definitely have a say in the price, it is people like this, that just dont understand, and when they dont uinderstand they look for an easy target, which in this case is Kenwright.

Agree0 Disagree0

They have have nothing worth selling

After that today, I believe the the strains of trying to acheive coupled with the restraints of doing so in such a poorly run football club has finally got to Moyes. I think the passion has been drained from the man and it won't be long before he jumps ship..... and who could blame him. Undecided as to whether that would be a good or bad thing. I fear we're going to have to sink lower before we'll be able to get rid of this board. AbergeleBlue

Believable2 Unbelievable4

Vellios is young and undeveloped and hasn't performed when he has started. He is far better used as a sub player

Agree0 Disagree0

Vellios was poor today he couldn't hold the ball up at all.

lets be fair here, we are really struggling at the moment off and on the field, so lets be proper fans and get behind the team. the atmosphere today was poor, really poor. I understand why but its not helping the team on the pitch all you hear is fans abusing the team and constantly snarling at the players. when we have possession and theres no forward pass on we should keep the ball, instead the crowd get edgy and start howling so the players get edgy and launch it 60 yards and we lose possession. blackburn are in bottom 3 yet they retained possession much better than we did because their fans weren't booing them all the time. anyone who has any idea on how to play knows you cant always go forward there are 11 opposition players whose job is to stop you so you have to be patient and wait for the right moment.
i as dissappointed with everything as the next person and I know there has been hardly anything to cheer this season but when I start to boo the team or continually hurl abuse at them then that will be the day i stop going and the day cease to become a fan ( never )
as a fan I think we should always get behind the
team, slag them off in the pub later but in the match for gods sake get behind them and cut out the abuse, they certainly need us at the moment- wella

I know this is not a rumour but for the last 10 league games we haven't scored more then one goal in a game. We even struggled scoring against a team who were semi pros in Tamworth! Moyes' was interviewed and his priority is a F****** central defender! Talk about being misguided! Duffy and Heitenga didn't put a foot wrong today! We died on our feet today in midfield!!
PLEASE SOMEONE SAVE US BEFORE WE GO DOWN!!

The games that we should have picked up
maxium points Bolton, Blackburn.
We cant get rid of Moyes whp do we get in.
Who will want to work with the clowns
we have in charge. Shameful so F***kin
shameful.
No strikers which weve needed all seaon
hello Bk all f***kin season we have needed a striker.
Its not just a striker we need two with pace and a winger or an attacking midfielder.
Wolves scored 2 today Fulham scored 5
Westbrom got 2 we cant get more then
one goal agame......
If we dont get a striker by our next home game.
Then BK is playing the worst risky game ever with our beloved club.
Just go and take Bilbo Baggins Elstone.
Yoyur Sh**e!!!!

Seriously bemused and frustrated after watching that. I can forgive the odd bad pass/mistake, but i would seriously question the players desire at the moment, we were known for being the team that every team hated to play as we would not let them rest for 90 minutes. We scored today and instantly sat back in our own half. Where is the players desire, heart or passion? That is what will get the fans back!
Moyes has to stop making excuses, stick with the same team for a few games, build the players confidence and remind the players that they need to earn there £25,000 - £70,000+ a week, or this season could go from bad to worse.
Yes we have not invested in playing staff, but there are still players earning a hell of alot and not pulling there weight, saha is done, would rather have stracq/vellios, gibson today look frustrated as every time he got the ball he would look up and would have nobody available, only plus was that duffy played well, so hopefully any loan/money should go to a forward/att mid.
final point, even the commentary mentioned it, we have not had that one incident/match that has sparked our season previously. I remember the response to derby muggings and nevilles tackle on ronaldo, maybe moyes needs to create this fire this season and earn his £60,000.

Really pleased to see Tim Cahill score today but I hope to goodness we don't sign Drenthe on a permanant deal; he is utter sh*te!
Yes he's got fast feet and loads of pace but when's the last time he actually did something creative with the ball?
All he seems to do is run up blind alleys and lose the ball, I'm very strongly reminded of Peter Beagrie and he was arguably one of our worst ever signings in that period of our history. Real Madrid must be laughing their tits off at us for giving Drenthe a go.
On the other hand I thought Donovan looked class when he got the ball, he put me in mind of Trevor Steven with his pace and positional play.

Behind Blue Eyes

Believable2 Unbelievable6

Are you kidding me? We have scored something like 21/22 goals, Drenthe is responsible for scoring 2 of those and setting up another 8. He has been involved in half of our goals this season, despite only playing in about two thirds of the game (and majority have been of the bench). Just because the lad has had a bad game or two, doesnt make him gash. We NEED to sign this lad up to a contract for the sole fact that he is available on a FREE! It would be absolutley ridiculous if we didnt.

Donovan did not look class today, I dont see how anyone could say an attacking player for Everton looked class against Blackburn, because that was a poor excuse for a game of football, clearly outplayed by Blackburn....AGAIN!

When was the last time we scored two in the league? This long ball rubbish has to stop!As soon as we get the ball its one maybe two passes until someone is in a better position to hoof it up the field!it wasn't this bad when Big Dunc was playing but at least he won a few flick ons unlike anyone on the pitch today!far too much space between the midfield and the strikers, and once again no pressure on the ball!cant wait till Hibbo is back so no more Neville at RB!badly missing Ossie and even more Arteta!

Another utterly crap performance :(
Abysmal
Hopeless

Something is seriously wrong at this club

Are the players just fed up and think this is the only way to get kenwright out? By playing utterly sh&t?

Something is definitely not right

We constantly do not fight for the ball or close th e opposition down

It's as if we don't want to win or something

How come we can all see the problem and moyes can't - none of our players bother to close down - so whoever we play starts to pass the ball about - even crap teams like Blackburn n Bolton

How can this be happening?

well, I will keep this short and sweet (ED 25)...an absolute joke of a performance, we looked completely uninterested, a massive game at home against s**te and im sorry they deserved to win...we are a joke, no wonder fans are now voting with their feet, its like watchin repeats of tenko..very painful

Just when you think it can't get any worse you have to sit through 90 mins of that utter crap. Out played and out passed by a Blackburn side missing their 2 most influential players this season. When they got the ball they passed it around, when we got it , bang it was hoofed 60yards up the field. No creation, no inventiveness and no game plan again today. Blackburn came to Goodison to win, it says an awful lot when away teams constantly fancy their chances against you.

After his performance today Saha should never be allowed wear the blue again, he was quite simply a disgrace, with team performances like that at home I'm struggling to see we're well get 40 points from!

All my optimism has run out after watching that. Now looking at the fixtures and wondering if we can pick up any more points. If we had the luck that Blackburn have had this season we would be rock bottom. It's not just a forward we need but a complete overhaul from top to bottom. PoD

Awful today, Blackburn deserved to win in my opinion.
No urgency from the player's or ambition to get forward.
Glad Cahill got on the score sheet though

Another terrible performance. Our passing and ball retention were second rate and, for most of the game, Blackburn looked a class above us. No shape, no pace, no hope! Where do we go from here?

out played by blackburn at goodison shameful!! they were passing around like we wasnt there, we were lucky to get a point! and yet again we wait till the last 10 minutes before we really start having a go! this has to stop! we need to be getting at teams from the off! will someone please show everton how to play football!! i am fuming!!

Being an Everton fan should come with health insurance. It puts a strain on my heart being 1-0 up knowing we can't score anymore than that and we rarely keep a clean sheet.

Well yet again starting with saha and cahill, with vellios and drenthe on the bench. thats it i've had enough.

Believable3 Unbelievable1

Drenthe cant defend and gives the ball away too much, would rather have him on the bench until he learns how to play and defend properly

Agree0 Disagree0

Drenthe is a winger, is it his job to defend?! Is Davey Moyes posting on here now?.

Agree0 Disagree0

Have to admit, not the biggest fan of drenthe. gives the ball a hell of a lot and fouls far too much

Been reading on ere for a while now! Imo all this talk about bk at fault for our current situation is bit unfair, he's a blue like us all, I know I wouldn't run the club into the ground! think he's being made a bit of a scape goat for the other 2 fools, I do agree he hasn't got the money we need but I do think his hands are tied by the cabbages. Also I think the gibson signing is going to be a great signing for us i've always liked him at utd.

Anyways i'm no longer a poster virgin
Good job ed great site mate.

If moyes insists on starting with saha again then i would like to see either vic or vellious plying up top with him! They have both proved that they can score goals something which saha is clearly struggling with! Better yet start both of them double V striker force!

Nobody has mentioned moyes on this post fella, personally I think Moyes does a great job with what he had, only flaw for me is that he is too negative
