Just watched the highlights of our game, that fourth goal from Digne was superb great effort from all the lads today.

Am getting carried away mate with that win am not used to seeing us score so many goals I lost count lol.

as we have had both Gomes and Zouma all year and if both were bought on permanent deals I would assume we are talking anywhere between 40-50 million for the 2 - this is a large chunk possibly of our transfer budget for next year and we will in effect have not improved the squad from this year - so if we can only buy the one player out of the 2 who would you pick - for me it has to be Zouma.

Great result today and let's hope United play like that against city midweek. lol.

I really think it's going to be a tough ask to get Zouma especially with a potential transfer ban looming for Chelsea. The same can be said for Gomes with Spurs apparently intereated. We need to hope that they have bought into the project we have in process of competing with the top 6. If I had to choose between the 2 though I would go for Gomes as he has the skill and cleverness to play next to a ball winner like Gueye.

21 Apr 2019 21:51:01
Gomes has definitely bought into Everton and with his anxiety issues most probably will be happy to stay.
Zouma with Chelseas ban and the possibility of him getting in their 1st team might be hard to convince.

There is no better feeling for us Evertonians after a performance like this afternoon Getting to me how the pundits saying how poor Man ure were No credit to our beloved Blues
Enjoy the beers tonight.

Another great performance from the team was rewarded with a comfortable victory. Utd did play badly/ lazily as the players distance covered by our players was 8km more than Utd. But we took full advantage of that as again we had no passengers and hammered Utd (how often have we been able to say that) .
The whole team were outstanding but I am going to give special praise to Schneiderlin as he hasn’t played in awhile and came in and done a great job. He was calm and influential in the centre of the park.

The rollercoaster of an Evertonian. What an end to a season. And what a game today (again) . Enjoy your Easter eggs boys, you deserved it.

The boys were excellent today. And well done Walcott. You get some stick when your not playing well, but you took your goal well and you are humble in the interview.

United were awful and OGS is looking clueless. All the best with that one lol.

Anyway, back to us (as the pundits don’t bother) . The goals were sensational, Siggy was outstanding as was Bernard and Digne too. No more fear for the top 6, and Goodison is a place to make sides nervous again. The old lady has got her mojo back.

Great result and Silva just booked his seat in our dugout for another year at least. Let's hppe we strengthen early this summer to give players time to settle.

Well that was well worth waiting for. Thought the lads controlled the game from start to finish. Shame Sky only want to talk about how poor Utd were, and not how well we played. Four cracking goals, and chances for more. Perfect bank holiday so far.

I was discusted with Sky only talking about about how badly United played, not how well Everton played, are best performance of the season.
We have beaten Chelsea, Arsenal and Man U can we get motivated for the other less fashionable games like at Palace next week? If Silva can motivate them we may be at the start of something.
Enjoy the rest of Ester lads.

21 Apr 2019 18:43:35
Sky are brazen about their elitist approach to the top six of the premier league. Their advocating it as the best league in the world because everyone is capable of beating each other at any given weekend is just hypocritical. The pundits are all Liverpool or Man Utd players and the way they dealt with the Carragher incident last season is an abhorrence.

I hate the fact that it’s the main platform for live football.

You would think they would talk up how well we played and that it made United look that bad,
It was such an amazing game and the old lady was rocking so much we could feel it down here in the south!
Digne was amazing! My son is a late starter in football terms only in his second season at the age of 10 but Digne has been inspirational, for a child with autism he makes it easier for my son to understand the role by watching him.

It's the way some people are Woburn. Some of our own fans will only point to how bad the opposition were. They won't even congratulate the team when they play like this.

Wow! Great all round performance, I'm absolutely beaming. The race for 7th is on! I did say United were there for the taking and that's exactly what the lads did. They went for it and got the 3 points. For me as long as the team is doing well I couldn't care who the manager is although others won't agree with that probably. More performances like this we want. Well done the team, proud evertonian moment.

I hate to be a Jonah, but given the last few results and performances (bar Fulham) does anyone else think that this may just be the start of something special? Taken points off Liverpool, Chelsea, Man U, Arsenal in the last few games, no fluke that.

Still 10 minutes to go but it doesn't matter. This should be seen as a break out season by us. We are beating top 6 sides and beating them well. If we now start to get the points we should against the likes of Fulham and Newcastle we will be a top 6 side
No more arguments. let's all get behind Marco and the team and look forward to next season after Brands works his magic in the close season

Today should be the last time we hear Allardyces name on here.
Anyone who can't get behind this manager now, will never be satisfied.

21 Apr 2019 15:37:08
We shouldn't hear Allardyce, we shouldn't hear Benitez, we shouldn't hear Arteta, or anyone else
We should just hear come on Everton, come on Marco, come on Marcus
They have shown us that they deserve this. We go into next year with hope.

I think we should make it official that the dark clouds are lifting over Goodison. Anyone disagree?

There are only Silva linings on the clouds over Goodison BW.

Forget the doomsdayers Nick They will begrudgingly jump on board.
I have supported this manager and will do until the day comes he is unsupportable.
Why? Because he is the manager of our beloved Everton and I will always be loyal to everything about Everton unless they/ it doses something unsupportable.

Allardyce claiming it was his victory today.

21 Apr 2019 20:12:17
Actually no he hasn't, superb home form followed by inconsistency away. Never doubted the potential in this Squad. As to the Alardyce Witch-Hunt, the bloke never diverted from his can label! He came in, did his job.

Now that's funny Cookie. Sam's brief was to stay in the job, and he couldn't manage that.
These results show how far we have come from the defend, defend, defend and kick it football.

Sensational. You hope they compete against The top teams and the heart desire is enough to give us a chance. Today we have Heart Desire and Top Top Quality. Proud and excited as we have really stepped up. Remember we got 3 points from 9 games in December/ January. We will be competing a lot higher in League next year. The difference imho is Silva has solved the Centre Forward position. Makes the whole team flow and Flourish.
