IF Martinez wants Cleverley then I totally support his choice.
First drops of ink on his own death certificate .
If we are going to get rid of the clown we will have to put up with such nonsense because the board appear
disinterested at the moment until of cause it goes breasts up in October.
No pain no gain!

Cleverley's "free" transfer, will end up costing the club millions, at best,we will end up haveing to pay him off to get rid, at worst, he will be part of the route into the championship.I watched the cup final and all it comfimed was that this is one of they most overated players I have ever seen. Remember, whatever you think of unt's manager, one of his first acts was to get rid as soon as poss, and at any price.

{Ed025's Note - your making me cry now JCW..

Im still in shock about his performance JCW, I thought let's have a good look and see if he has something, what better game to show the world you are worth a punt.

I know his whole game was total garbage but did you see his header into the box, he closed his eyes ffs, then headed it wide left, then there was the cross from the right hand edge of the box, no Arsenal player was closing him down, he had around 30 seconds on the ball to think "where shall I put this". He floated it to Mertesackers head ha ha, unbelievable. I know why arsenal players were not closing him down, didn't need to, he would give them the ball.

Im all for giving players a chance, I gave McGeady plenty of time, garbage, but I will be shocked if Cleverley gets a contract, seriously shocked, even the Villa fans want him gone

Hi Ed

Earlie in the year we were linked we a couple of these:

André Ayew LW
Tom Cleverley CM

Thought the two guys below would be good additions considering 3 of the 4 are Bosmans.
Dimitri Payet AM
André-Pierre Gignac Striker

So midfield next season: Cleverly, Muntari and Barry. Tell you what Bill when it comes to the new ground, just make it a 20,000 capacity, because that's all we will need in the Championship mate.

What is going on!! The season has just finished and it was painful and now I'm dreading next season. Muntari, Evans, Dann, Cleveray, Blackett. This can't Be True!! Surely not.

just the papers spouting crap mate, no one from the club has mentioned any of these, RM admired Cleverley but he can't seriously still rate the guy, let's wait and see who we actually buy and not who the garbage tabloids and numpties on Twitter are linking us with.

The press just does my head in this time of year (most of the time tbh)

As for Cleverley I wouldn't put it past RM to do something totally preposterous as signing more prize plumbs!

In fact if they came wholesale in baskets we would be awash with em. :(

He used to play for Wigan, so there is ( unfortunatly )a very good chance we will soon see him in a blue shirt, just be greatful that J. Evens never played for wigan, I do hope that buying a pie there once, does not count.

I am from a very long line of Evertonians and my children and their children carry on that passion. So what moves us now to talk about something we never thought possible? We want a winning habit made from a knowledgeable manager (the what to, why to)aligned to the skill (how to)and Desire (want to). The habit is the seamless unity of the 3 elements of knowledge, skill and desire. We don't see that "habit" at present. Chasing after Evans, Cleverly and the other press offerings simply tells us that there is no desire being shown by EFC. Do we lack the skill to purchase players or have a gap in knowledge to enter a buying market that is the summer recess? No! But desire is thin on the ground and without that we will never have a winning habit. Purchase these players and I assure you the thin end of the wedge is being offered for next season.

Muntari really? No more 30 plus players please. Surely if we are looking to the future we should be looking at young players. The core of the team is there we just need a playmaker in midfield and another quality striker. That's two quality buys for big money, maybe a couple of loans, added to that the young potential we already have and we have a chance.
